Shane could ask for more people since the Springriver Manor had been receiving new people every five days or even more than that because of the reputation he had.
According to the system, the higher the reputation, the higher the chance of attracting people to his shelter.
However, his current shelter couldn't sustain a huge number of people immediately. Although they have various facilities to procure food and water, he would have to consider expanding this to sustain more people.
"I need some laborers with minimal upkeep first." Shane muttered to himself.
Moments later, the portal lit up, and three figures stepped out. They were all clad in combat armor. It seemed that they had obtained a decent reputation in the manor as he could see that they were wearing at least Tier 4 equipment.
Shane nodded approvingly. "Welcome to Eclipse Domain… Find Edwin and he will give you tasks. We need hands to develop this new shelter, so I'll need your help. You'll be rewarded if you do well."
The three immediately agreed as their loyalty to Shane was already at a hundred.
Next, he contacted Diana at Silver Mine Camp.
[ Shane: Diana, send the seven special slaves through. I need them now. ]
[ Diana: Can I keep Borek here? His skills will be better used here. ]
This reply came almost instantly. She certainly had a point considering the fact that their camp was dealing with various ores every day.
However, Shane had different plans since making silver weapons and processing ores could be done even by normal blacksmiths. Borek had a special ability and Shane couldn't just waste his talent doing normal jobs.
[ Shane: No… He should've trained your blacksmiths there already. Right, you're also a craftsman, you should be just fine there. I only have one blacksmith here. ]
[ Diana: Fine… I'll send them all. ]
Shane smiled looking at his sister's reply. He could understand her frustration but he knew as well that she was already prepared to send them all since he heard about the farewell party she arranged last night.
After some time, another pulse of light flickered and seven figures emerged, these were specialists—ones he had handpicked from the Vault of Chains in the Waiting Zone.

As soon as they arrived, they immediately saw Shane waiting for them and bowed their heads. He was the one who had given them freedom, after all.
Shane didn't use chains to control them in their previous shelter and removed any restraints they had in just a few days of serving him.
They were all thankful for the trust they received from him.
"Lord Shane…" They said in unison.
Shane waved his hands as he welcomed the seven.
It was only this time that their eyes darted around the room. Seeing the concrete building, they immediately knew that this shelter wasn't just a hastily built one as they had expected.
They believed that Shane had just occupied another Shelter and built around it.
Shane had no idea what they were thinking as he led them outside so they could familiarize themselves.
At the front of the group was Kaelira, the Silver-Furred Vulpian.
Shane recalled about her skills. She should be an agile individual and also adept in stealth. She would make an excellent scout or assassin who could assist Sol and her Spirits.
Beside her was Kain, the Werewolf. Of course, he now had full control over his body and even if it was a full moon, with his 100 Loyalty Points, Shane should have no problem controlling him.
According to Diana, after some training, he also had perfect control over his transformation, seamlessly shifting between his human and werewolf forms at will even during the day.
Then there was Jafal, the Ethereal Construct.
He was probably the most unusual kind since he would certainly fit in A.I. Rebellion or even Fairy Realm Invasion Apocalypse since he seemed to be made of metal and stones which seemed like an advanced technology and also magical.
In any case, his kind were known for their telepathic abilities and their gift for detecting hidden dangers—a talent that would be invaluable in their current situation.
Behind them was Borek, the Draconic Blacksmith. He was in bad condition when he purchased this man but after giving him some blood from Roan, Borek's body improved!
With access to the right materials, he could outfit the entire shelter with enchanted weaponry.
But the last three… they were different.
They were the most expensive ones that Shane even had to level down to purchase them. He spent so many Experience Points to trade them!
Sona, the Frostborn Arcanist or an Ice Magician in Shane's eyes.
Beside her was Otto, the Celestial Sunsinger or a Fire Magician with a fancy name in Shane's mind.
Finally, there was Zephyrion, who would call himself an Abyssal Scholar of the Void but in the end, he was just another Necromancer.
Shane studied them with a hint of satisfaction in his eyes.
They already looked a lot healthier than before.
In any case, he had freed them, yes, but this was not charity. They were powerful, skilled individuals. If they wanted a place here, they had to contribute to him!
"Welcome to Eclipse Domain. Remember that you're here to work… I don't need dead weight. You will be rewarded if you do well."
Kaelira smirked as she liked this boss who was straight to the point.
"Got a place for a scout for me?" She asked.
Shane nodded at this.
"There is… It will be dangerous so I'll be forming a group of scouts. For now, you just need to familiarize yourself with the surroundings and inform me of any notable locations around.
Kain, on the other hand, simply cracked his knuckles. "Should I start hunting Zombies?" As a werewolf, he obviously had some thirst for action.
"Yes… I need you to go to the nearest river to catch some fish." Shane said as he turned to Jafal.
"You'll be stationed in one of the watchtowers."
Jafal nodded. "Good choice. I can detect threats before they arrive. Your walls will never be caught off guard if I'm on duty."
Borek just silently looked at Shane but his eyes were definitely asking him about the location of the forge.
"That building over there… Renz is already there and he knows about you." Shane said.
He then looked at the three magicians. He wasn't too sure what they could do aside from combat. Well, they wouldn't be fighting all the time, so he was thinking about what other task they could do with their abilities.
The other three immediately understood Shane's thoughts and spoke up.
Sona smiled as she looked at Shane.
"I'd like a space to conduct my magic experiments. You can consider me as an Alchemist since that was my first profession before I became a full-pledged Arcanist." Sona
Otto was only good at destroying things but in the Silver Mine Camp, he was also helping in the forge or even in the kitchen with his fire abilities.
"You can send me to help in the forge while waiting or just send me to a battlefield. I'll be useful either way."
Zephyrion wasn't good at any other thing aside from controlling undead creatures so he could only ask Shane to send him to a raid or perhaps, assign him to guard the Shelter's perimeters.
Shane chuckled. "I like you guys already. You're all useful…"

Just like that, the seven quickly found roles within the shelter…
Shane still had to prepare a lot before he could raid the Maggotfall Citadel. He planned to at least bring a few more people into the shelter in order to ensure that this place would stand strong even if he left this place for some time.
Just a day had passed and Kaelira the Vulpian became the lead scout, responsible for patrolling the outskirts and tracking any unusual events.
Kain was stationed as a front-line warrior, ensuring that no threats breached their walls. Indeed, Captain Flint, or the previous Guard Captain was the one assigned to ensure the safety of the internal wall but Kain was tasked to conduct various external missions with the three Super Soldiers.
Jafal also formed a team with two other people from the Normal Recruits to work as Watchtower Guards.
As for Borek, he had already started to repair their weapons in the smithy with the help of Renz!
Apparently, aside from Shane, the others also had weapons in terrible condition, including their pieces of equipment. Lysandra, Nia, Vernon, and Kale had been in numerous battles and they never had the chance to repair their tools.
In most cases, they were just changing them. However, this has changed now, with the presence of skilled blacksmiths.
Shane had dozens of items in his inventory that needed repair... Before he could even think of raiding the Citadel, he had to make sure that all his weapons were in great condition.
After all, he didn't want to rely heavily on his Bio Armor!
