GLOBAL AWAKENING: My 10,000x Exp Multiplier-Chapter 11: []10 Million EXP, Birth of Inferno Nova
The cavern was completely silent. Only the soft glow of the loot pile illuminated the dark stone walls.
Vahn walked to the center of the room and scanned the floating items.
[Spider Queen’s Venom Sac (Rare)]
[Silk Weaver’s Robe (Silver Tier)]
[Skill Book: Basic Fireball (Common)]
[Gold Coins: 50,000]
He casually threw the materials and the robe into his inventory. These were decent items for this stage of the game. They could easily fetch a few hundred thousand real world credits if auctioned properly. But to him, they were nothing but stepping stones.
His eyes locked onto the [Skill Book: Basic Fireball].
This was a complete trash tier skill. Every Magic Apprentice received one for free at Level 5. It was a slow and clunky spell that dealt pitiful damage. The cast time alone left the user wide open to attacks, making most players discard it the moment they found something better.
But Vahn wasn’t most players. He was an EXP Architect.
He picked up the weathered leather book. With a single mental command, the book dissolved into particles of light and flowed directly into his chest.
[Ding!]
[You have learned the skill: Fireball (Level 1) (F-Rank)]
Vahn immediately pulled up his status panel.
[Profile]
↳ Name: Vahn Ryker(Anonymous)
↳ Class: EXP Architect (Hidden)
↳ Level: 1
↳ EXP Pool: 10,000,000
Ten million experience points sat in his reserve like a glowing ocean of pure potential. If he dumped it into his character level right now, he would instantly shoot up to Level 30. He would gain massive base stats and unlock new class tiers to completely dominate the player leaderboards.
It was a highly tempting thought.
’No,’ Vahn thought and shut down the urge immediately. ’Leveling up increases the EXP requirements for future levels exponentially. If I level up now, my multiplier will be wasted on basic stat gains.’
In his past life, Vahn had learned a very brutal truth. Stats could be bypassed. Armor could be pierced. Levels were just a simple number.
But Skills? High tier mutated skills dictated the rules of reality itself. A Level 10 player with an SSS Rank skill could instantly annihilate a Level 50 player with B Rank skills.
He focused his consciousness on the newly acquired Fireball skill.
"System," Vahn commanded. His voice echoed in the empty boss room. "Open the Conversion Interface. Target Skill: Fireball."
[Ding!]
[Conversion Interface Opened. Please allocate EXP to mutate the target skill.]
Vahn didn’t hesitate at all. He didn’t carefully dole out the experience in small increments. He completely opened the floodgates.
"Allocate one hundred thousand EXP."
[Ding! Consuming 100,000 EXP...]
[Fireball (F-Rank) has mutated into Flame Burst (D-Rank)!]
"Allocate five hundred thousand EXP."
[Ding! Consuming 500,000 EXP...]
[Flame Burst (D-Rank) has mutated into Scorching Pillar (C-Rank)!]
"Allocate two million EXP."
[Ding! Consuming 2,000,000 EXP...]
[Scorching Pillar (C-Rank) has mutated into Hellfire Vortex (A-Rank)!]
The cavern physically reacted to the system processes. The air grew blisteringly hot. The remaining acidic pools on the floor began to boil and evaporate, filling the entire room with toxic steam.
Vahn felt his avatar trembling uncontrollably. The sheer volume of data being written into his character’s soul was staggering. Blinding pain lanced through his mind, but he simply clenched his jaw and kept his eyes wide open.
He needed to push it to the absolute limit.
"Allocate the remaining seven million and four hundred thousand EXP."
The system paused. It was a microsecond delay. The game’s engine was trying to process the sheer absurdity of the command. No player was supposed to dump seven million EXP into a single skill! The math was literally breaking.
[WARNING: Excessive EXP input detected.]
[WARNING: Skill stability compromised. Forcing mutation threshold...]
"Do it!" Vahn roared over the sudden deafening sound of rushing wind.
[Ding!]
[Consuming 7,400,000 EXP...]
[Hellfire Vortex (A-Rank) has achieved Absolute Mutation!]
[Congratulations! You have obtained the SSS-Rank Skill: Inferno Nova!]
The moment the notification popped up, all the heat in the room vanished. The boiling acid stopped bubbling. The steam froze in mid air. It was as if the cavern itself was holding its breath.
Vahn gasped and fell to his hands and knees. His entire body felt like it had been dunked in liquid magma and pulled out to cool. The green circuit lines in his eyes flared so brightly they cast shadows on the stone floor.
He slowly pulled himself up and opened his skill menu while his hands shook slightly from the adrenaline.
[Skill Details]
↳ Skill: Inferno Nova
↳ Rank: SSS
↳ Level: 1 (Max)
↳ Description: Condenses the raw essence of a dying star into a single point.
↳ Effect 1: Deals 50,000% Base Magic Damage in a 100 meter radius.
↳ Effect 2: Ignores 100% of all Magic Resistance and Fire Immunity.
↳ Effect 3: Sun Aura. Can be toggled to condense the heat into a 2 meter aura, melting all physical projectiles and dealing continuous true damage to enemies within range.
↳ Mana Cost: 500
↳ Cooldown: 24 Hours
Vahn stared at the panel completely speechless.
Fifty thousand percent base damage. Ignoring all immunities. This wasn’t just a spell. It was a tactical nuclear warhead! If he cast this in the center of a starting city, he would vaporize the entire map. The Sun Aura effect alone made him practically invincible against physical melee attackers.
The only downside was the massive mana cost. At Level 1, he didn’t even have 500 mana to cast the full Nova. But he had enough to toggle the aura for short bursts.
Vahn raised his right hand. He didn’t cast the spell. He merely willed the Sun Aura to activate for a fraction of a second.
"Fzzt."
A ring of pure blinding white plasma expanded two meters from his body and existed for only a heartbeat. In that single millisecond, the solid stone floor beneath him melted into a pool of glowing bubbling lava. The air cracked like a whip as oxygen combusted instantly.
Vahn canceled the aura immediately as his mana bar completely emptied.
He looked at the molten crater he was standing in. A terrifying laugh escaped his lips. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞
"Perfect," he whispered while the heat washed over his face.
He finally had the ultimate weapon. Now it was time to return to the real world. The mandatory School Tournament was beginning, and Vahn had a very specific appointment to keep.
He opened his interface and pressed the logout button. The molten cavern faded to black.
