Global Lord: Start with Divine Favor-Chapter 93 - 32_2
Chapter 93: Chapter 32_2
Then all five summoned creatures charged at the ogre with reckless abandon. All the undead at the base of the mountain also swarmed towards the summit like beasts scenting blood.
Lin Rui stood with hands behind his back, as ice arrows shot out one after another from behind him. The frosty spiritual magic pierced into the ogre’s body repeatedly, pushing it back again and again, covering it in layers of ice.
Yet, even so, the ogre did not fall, its life force unbelievably resilient.
Lin Rui opened his attribute panel.

Under the strike of the Ice Arrow, this ogre was struggling, only barely hanging on.
Audrey exhaled, excitedly patting her chest, looked at Lin Rui who stood idly by while Ice Arrows continuously shot from behind him, and exclaimed in surprise, "Lord, when did you become so strong? Aren’t you from the Priest Corps? How do you fight Tier Two monsters without even moving? Did you secretly train hard behind my back?"
Lin Rui couldn’t be bothered to argue with this foolish girl. His wisdom was already maxed out, and with two Rare Level Equipment and a body full of Epic Traits supporting him, isn’t strength natural? He simply had been too lazy to take action before. After all, if he could solve a problem using his brain, why bother acting?
But if a true duel were to occur, even Lundestadte would have no power to counter.
[Ding, you killed an Elite-level monster: Ogre Warrior, experience +24000.]
[Acquired Realm Coin 325]
[Ding, acquired Ogre Demon Stone *1]
[Ding, acquired Recruitment Scroll Minotaur Warrior *1]
Lin Rui opened the new items to take a look.
[Ogre Grinding Stone]
[The sharper the weapon, the more ruthless the cut. Many ogres learned this truth by observing butchers at work.]
[Durability: 6/20]
[Consumes one point of durability upon use, increases melee Weapon Damage by 27-46]
[Increases weapon sharpness attribute, enhances armor penetration damage by 15-25]
An excellent consumable item, the power of Fine-level Weapons can be increased by at least 30%. Lin Rui handed it to Lundestadte, who had arrived, to enhance the knights’ weapons.
Then he tossed the Ogre Recruitment Scroll into his backpack, planning to see if it could be enhanced back at the territory.
"Head up the mountain, locate the ogre camp," Lin Rui ordered with a wave of his hand.
This ogre was merely a wanderer here; its Sociability Trait indicated that its tribe had at least 50 members.
Soon enough, the scattered undead soldiers found a cave on the mountainside, where the ogres were feasting and carousing inside.
Two Ogre Warriors guarded the entrance, but they seemingly had no discipline whatsoever. One lay lazily on the ground, fiddling with a large club, while the other leaned against the wall, snoring away.
Lin Rui commanded, "Everyone focus fire on the awake ogre, instantly take it down."
The brilliance of spiritual light magic appeared simultaneously, as Ice Arrows, bone spears, Blood Conversion, Grip of Cyan Wave exploded together, instantly draining half of the ogre’s life force. Before it had time to react, a fierce impact followed, causing it to fall into a daze, never again having the chance to wake. A deluge of Warhammers and Steel Staffs rained down, smashing the ogre’s stout body into a pulp until it was utterly dead.
Lusen walked up to the cave entrance, looked at the still snoring ogre, poked its large club with a sword, and commented, "Truly wealthy indeed."
Roger quirked a brow, smirking, "How about you try if the effect is the same as tiger penis, ox penis; it’ll supplement you a bit."
Lin Rui, exasperated, declared, "Lusen! Roger! If you both say one more word tonight, you won’t get to sleep, but battle outside the territory until dawn!"
The two immediately clamped their mouths shut, gazing innocently at Lin Rui without blinking.
The ogre that Lusen poked several times finally opened its bleary eyes, looking dumbly at the human knights surrounding it, completely clueless about the situation.
It thought it was hallucinating and rubbed its eyes vigorously with its rough hands, but when it reopened its eyes, these people were still there!
What was going on? How could there be so many human knights at the camp entrance?
Before it could figure out the situation, a barrage of Warhammers, battle axes, and Steel Staffs rained down upon it.
In intense pain, all it could do was curl up its body and hold its head as it got beaten, completely forgetting to counterattack.
But this process was brief; in the blink of an eye, it was chopped into pieces.
In this terrifying world, not only were the monsters and goblins terrifyingly sinister, but humans were equally ruthless and iron-willed.
"A Fine-level Weapon is out!" exclaimed the knights happily.
Lin Rui glanced attentively; it was a Tier Two Weapon, named Ogre Battleaxe.
But the knights in the territory couldn’t equip it for now, so he stored it in the backpack.
The quick skirmish at the cave entrance didn’t impact the revelry inside, where the sounds continued to rage enthusiastically.
Lin Rui waved his hand, instructing everyone to enter the cave.
The Ogre Cave was vast and tall, with torches inserted into the walls illuminating the interior clearly, the scatterings of skeletons by the walls visibly noticeable.
This ogre camp appeared crude from the outside, but upon entering, it was found to be larger than expected, though one couldn’t see even a tenth of it at a glance.
The current area was likely the camp’s stone hallway, with six ogres leaning within it.
Lin Rui ordered, "All out attack, make it quick and clean!"
In a sudden assault of skills, two ogres immediately fell. Seeing their companions fall, the remaining four ogres angrily dropped the cooked meat legs, grabbed clubs and battle axes, and charged forward.
The knights were equally fearless, colliding head-on with the ogres, with punches and blades meeting flesh.
Oh, mainly the ogres’ flesh.
Though the knights’ physiques couldn’t match the ogres, various shields absorbed nearly all the damage from the ogres.
With two strong healers in the rear, the knights and fanatics were able to chop the four ogres to pieces at full health.
Six ogres dropped two Fine-level weapons, a bronze treasure chest, an Ogre Grinding Stone with 8 durability, and over three thousand Realm Coins. Ogres’ rumored greed for gold proved undeniably true. Their wealth matched the aura of a giant dragon.
After clearing the camp’s stone hallway, three forks appeared at the end.
The undead skeleton soldiers split apart to explore briefly, and Audrey introduced, "Lord, the center fork leads to the camp’s Stone Hall, with more than forty ogres celebrating inside. The left fork leads to the Camp Treasure Vault, guarded by a dozen ogres. The right fork leads to the Camp Slaughterhouse, where ogres’ prisoners are being prepared as ingredients by ten or so ogres."
Preparing ingredients!
Suddenly, the ogres felt that vibe.
Lin Rui said, "Let’s go to the Camp Slaughterhouse first."
