God-Tier Fishing System-Chapter 592
"Senior Sister Kara, it’s solved."
Ethan put away the Nine-Colored Soul-Living Bottle and walked toward the three of them.
For a moment, silence filled the hall.
Solved... just like that?
A tenth-level Demon Lord at the peak of the Inferior stage—subdued, sealed, and turned into a spiritual pet?
Kara, Elara, and Risa stared at Ethan as if they were looking at something unreal.
Ethan looked back at them calmly.
It was obvious that the three of them still hadn’t fully recovered from the shock.
"Junior Brother Ethan..." Kara finally exhaled slowly, forcing herself to calm down.
"I didn’t expect you to be hiding so much strength. With you here, the Azure Origin Dao Sect will definitely rise again."
Her words were sincere, not exaggerated.
She was already imagining the future—Ethan standing at the peak, the Dao Sect flourishing under his shadow.
"Sister, you flatter me," Ethan replied casually. "It was mostly luck."
"I’m a pure body cultivator. Although my realm is suppressed here, my physical strength isn’t restricted much. The Ghost Flame Insect Mother was only at the peak Inferior Demon Lord stage. Dealing with her wasn’t too difficult."
His tone was light, as if he had just handled something trivial.
The three of them exchanged glances.
None of them believed the word *easy*.
Ethan didn’t dwell on the matter. He turned his gaze toward Elara.
"How is it?" he asked. "Any clues related to the inheritance now?"
"...Hm?"
Elara was pulled out of her daze. She took a breath and gathered her thoughts.
"Inheritance..." she murmured.
She shook her head slowly. "The Sky family map only marks the outer area of the ruins our ancestor once entered. There’s no record of the internal routes, nor any description in the clan’s ancient texts."
"We’ll have to search on our own."
"But now that we’ve entered the ruins," she added, her eyes brightening slightly, "finding the inheritance and treasures should only be a matter of time."
"Mm."
Ethan nodded and scanned the hall again.
Aside from the murals, sculptures, and ancient stone pillars, nothing here looked like the core of an inheritance.
This place felt more like a threshold.
If the secrets of Emperor Sage truly existed here, they would certainly lie deeper.
Ethan summoned his holographic map.
The map was shrouded in darkness. Only the area around him—roughly ten meters—was illuminated.
It looked eerily similar to a real-time exploration map.
When he zoomed out, the fishing spot icon appeared... perfectly overlapping with his current position.
But there was no visible fishing location in the hall.
"...Vertical space."
Ethan’s gaze slowly lifted.
The fishing spot coinciding with his position meant only one thing.
The target was either above—or below.
"Rest for a quarter of an hour," Ethan said calmly. "Then we’ll check the upper level."
"Alright."
The three of them nodded and sat down, regulating their breathing.
Ethan also sat cross-legged, silently circulating his power.
A quarter of an hour passed.
Ethan opened his eyes. His aura was stable, his blood surging quietly beneath his skin—his condition restored to its peak.
He stood up.
At that moment, a soft, alluring voice sounded in his mind.
"Master, I know where the inheritance and treasures are."
It was Pyra.
"Oh?" Ethan’s lips curved slightly. "You know?"
"Very good."
"I’ve lived in this hall for countless years," Pyra continued.
"There are three directions—above, ahead, and below."
"I’ve explored all of them."
"Except for the upper path, the other two are sealed by extremely strong restrictions and doors, making it impossible to go deep."
"Judging by the strength of the seals, if there is an inheritance here, it should be below. The restriction beneath this hall is the strongest."
Ethan nodded slowly.
"Then we’ll go down first."
He lifted his head and looked at the others.
By now, Elara and the others had finished adjusting their states.
"Mr. Ethan," Elara said honestly, "once inside the ruins, I don’t have any clear direction. We’ll follow your lead."
"Down it is," Ethan replied simply.
He raised his hand, signaling them to move away.
Kara, Elara, and Risa leaped backward in unison, landing lightly against the stone pillars along the edge of the hall.
Ethan stepped forward.
Power surged from his body, and an invisible pressure swept across the hall.
Soil, moss, and tangled vines trembled violently.
Then—
Gray-blue Pure Azure Flame erupted.
In a matter of breaths, the dirt, moss, and decay clinging to the ground were burned away, leaving the stone floor clean and exposed.
As the flames illuminated the space, the hall appeared even more ancient and majestic.
At last, the hidden structure beneath the filth was revealed.
Pyra had been right.
Besides the upper opening, there were two concealed entrances.
One was a bronze door embedded deep into the front wall, flanked by hanging bronze lamps.
Earlier, the darkness and battle chaos had hidden it from view.
"There’s a door!" Kara exclaimed.
Ethan waved his hand, flames igniting the bronze lamps on either side.
"That’s not where we’re going," he said calmly.
He turned and walked to the center of the hall.
There, a square stone platform with three descending tiers stood quietly.
At first glance, it looked empty.
But upon closer inspection, intricate patterns were carved into the stone surface—dense, complex, and orderly.
A formation.
"Master," Pyra’s voice sounded again.
"This is a formation mechanism. The stone slab can rotate."
"Align the pointer-shaped formation pattern to the east–west direction. Four grooves will appear."
"Insert spiritual crystals or spiritual marrow to activate it. The entrance to the underground palace will open."
Through the soul contract, Ethan shared his vision with Pyra seamlessly.
"I understand."
He crouched down and placed his palm at the center of the stone slab.
Power surged.

The stone slab began to rotate.
After rotating exactly sixty degrees, the pointer-shaped pattern aligned perfectly along the east–west direction.
At the same time, a crisp sound echoed—like a lock being released.
Four grooves emerged at the cardinal points of the circular formation.
"What is this?" Risa asked softly.
"This is a large-scale formation switch," Ethan explained. "It requires energy input to activate."
Before he finished speaking, Elara raised her hand.
Four high-grade spiritual crystals floated out and dropped precisely into the grooves.
As the crystals made contact, pale blue light blossomed.
Spiritual energy flowed along the carved lines, illuminating the entire formation.
Ethan and the others retreated.
The stone platform began to rotate on its own.
