God-Tier Fishing System-Chapter 655
"Ethan, you rat. If you have the courage, fight me head on."
Seris roared. His eyes were bloodshot with fury.
"Noisy."
Ethan let out a cold sneer and vanished instantly.
In the next moment, he appeared below.
The Supreme Prisoner’s Heavenly Lock was withdrawn with a thought.
Ethan turned his body slightly and lashed out with a kick.
The speed of that strike was like lightning.
The force contained within it was terrifying. Wherever it swept through, space itself tore apart.
A dull explosion resounded.
In the blink of an eye, Seris was sent flying like a cannonball, hurtling toward the ranks above.
"Seris!"
Linus rushed forward and caught him.
Even so, Linus was forced to slide back dozens of feet in midair before he could dissipate the remaining force.
"Pfft."
Seris’ internal organs shifted violently. Blood surged up his throat and sprayed out in a thick stream.
His face was pale with humiliation and disbelief.
He searched for Ethan, only to find that Ethan had already returned to his original position, floating calmly in the air before Max and Bella.
"This is impossible."
Seris’ eyes trembled.
He could not even keep up with Ethan’s speed.
Another mouthful of blood spilled from his lips. His consciousness went dark and he fainted.
"Seris!"
Linus lowered his son and clenched his fists tightly. His body trembled with rage.
"Ethan, you deserve to die." 𝕗𝕣𝐞𝐞𝘄𝐞𝚋𝚗𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹.𝚌𝕠𝚖
Ethan merely sneered.
"If you can withstand one of my moves and survive, your might have some value."
"Boy, I will tear you to pieces."
Linus was on the verge of exploding.
Valerius raised a hand to stop him.
"There is something strange about Ethan. He is hiding his strength. I will handle this."
With that, Valerius stepped forward, crossing dozens of feet in a single motion and arriving not far from Ethan.
"Ethan, I do not know what methods you have employed, but you stand alive before me."
"Kneel."
"Beg for mercy."
"Abandon your cultivation."
"Hand over the Hibiscus Fruits and Lunara.""
"I may spare your life."
"Otherwise, you will bear the consequences."
Before Valerius finished speaking, a streak of black light shot through the air from the distance.
"The peak of the Ultimate Demon Lord."
Valerius’ eyes narrowed.
He swept his palms outward. Flame divine power condensed into a blade and cleaved the incoming black flame apart.
"Valerius, today I will take your life."
Lunara descended and landed beside Ethan.
Elara, Risa, and Kara followed close behind.
Black flames coiled around Lunara’s body. Lightning arcs flickered intermittently.
Her gaze was fixed on Valerius. Her fists were clenched.
Frost coated her expression. The killing intent in her eyes was nearly tangible.
"Lunara."
"Ultimate Demon Lord."
Valerius laughed coldly.
"You wretched woman. You betrayed me and colluded with the human race."
"You truly do not know your place."
"Do you think clinging to Ethan will grant you revenge?"
"Ridiculous."
He looked her up and down with contempt.
On the Sky family’s side, shock slowly gave way to hope.
They had not expected Elara to return with Ethan.
They had not expected Ethan’s strength to be so overwhelming that even the Palace of the Four Cycles’ genius could not withstand a single move.
Perhaps the Sky family might survive this day.
"Sister, you are finally back."
Damon below exhaled in relief.
"Elara, are you unharmed?" Max asked.
"Father, I am fine."
"With Mr. Ethan here, how could anything happen to me?"
Max and Bella cupped their hands toward Ethan.
"Thank you, Mr. Ethan, for coming to our rescue."
Ethan said nothing.
He merely gestured lightly for them to step back.
Then he took a single step forward and arrived directly before Valerius.
The distance between them was less than a meter.
"Ethan, I must admit, you are bold to stand before me alone."
"You are merely an Upper Supreme."
"Even with artifacts and tricks, killing you would be as simple as reaching into a bag."
"If you wish to play hero, you are not qualified."
"Whether I am qualified is not for Palace Master Valerius to decide."
Ethan smiled calmly.
Valerius laughed.
"What arrogance."
"Very well. Since you are all gathered here, I will send you to hell together."
His gaze swept across Elara and the others. Killing intent surged.
"Sending us to hell."
"Palace Master Valerius overestimates himself."
"Today marks the end of the Palace of the Four Cycles."
Ethan’s tone was cold.
"Is that so?"
In an instant, two terrifying auras erupted.
Lightning flashed.
Thunder rolled.
Violent winds howled.
Valerius’ momentum soared to its peak. The power of a Perfect Demon Lord at the summit burst forth without reservation.
Golden flame divine power formed a blazing circle around him.
Ethan did not yield.
Light cyan divine power coiled around his body, electric arcs dancing within it. His aura was not inferior.
Shockwaves rippled outward as their presences collided.
Wind and snow were swept away instantly. Even the dark clouds overhead were scattered.
Mountains trembled.
Trees collapsed.
The earth split open with massive cracks.
Those nearby hurriedly retreated to avoid being caught in the aftermath.
Valerius’ expression turned solemn.
In only half a year, Ethan had grown to this level.
He must have consumed a Hibiscus Fruit.
Even so, Ethan was still only an Upper Supreme.
No matter how extraordinary his talent or how early he condensed divine power, it was meaningless.
Valerius stood at the pinnacle of the Perfect Demon Lord realm, only a step away from opening the imperial path.
The gap in cultivation between them was vast.
Talent and artifacts could not bridge it.
Valerius remained confident.
He let out a cold snort. Golden flames flickered in his eyes.
Ethan’s lips curved faintly upward.
Their gazes met in midair, as though sparks burst forth between them.
"Ethan, since you are here today, you will remain here forever."
Before his words finished, Valerius’ fist, wrapped in blazing flame divine power, smashed toward Ethan’s face.
"To keep me here forever. I fear Palace Master Valerius lacks that ability."
Ethan stepped back with his left foot and turned sideways.
The golden flame brushed past his cheek, scorching the air and whipping his hair violently.
A dull explosion rang out.
