God-Tier Fishing System-Chapter 672
"Good."
Ethan nodded slightly and his figure vanished from where he stood.
When he appeared again, he was already beside the Chaos Clock.
He extended his hand and withdrew the Chaos Clock.
Valerius had been completely refined. His soul and consciousness had been erased entirely, leaving behind only a massive golden phoenix corpse suspended in the air.
"Take it."
Ethan waved his sleeve lightly. The enormous body floated toward Elara.
"Refining this will not be simple," Elara said seriously.
"My mother and I will need to gather many masters of the Sky family. Turning Valerius into a Heavenly Spirit Puppet will take at least three months, perhaps up to a year."
"That is fine. As long as the refinement succeeds."
Ethan did not mind.
One year in seclusion would pass in the blink of an eye.
"Once Valerius is refined into a Heavenly Spirit Puppet, as long as you provide a stable power source, it will act according to your will."
"The Heavenly Spirit Puppet has one special trait. If the power source remains stable and continuous, and you separate a strand of your original soul into it, the puppet can cultivate on its own."
"A puppet that can cultivate?"
Ethan’s gaze shifted slightly.
"Interesting."
The Sky family’s craftsmanship had not disappointed him.
A puppet capable of self cultivation was no ordinary creation.
In future battles, he would not even need to act personally.
An army of such puppets would be enough to sweep across territories.
"Do not rush the refinement. Gather your clan and prepare to leave. We depart tonight."
Ethan’s tone was decisive.
The disturbance he had caused was too great.
This was still the Demon Territory.
Aside from White Emperor, no one knew whether an old monster of the Emperor realm might emerge.
He would return to Azure Origin Dao Sect to reorganize.
After that, he would head to the White North.
With his current strength, he could seek out Senior Sister Althea and observe the true standards of the ancient families.
More importantly, he needed to cultivate.
According to the records carved upon the stone tablet, the third cultivation site left by the Star Emperor lay within the White North.
With that thought, Ethan calmed his mind.
He waved his hand.
Streams of light rose from the ruined battlefield.
These were the storage treasures of the fallen cultivators from the Palace of the Four Cycles.
The spoils of war.
With so many storage items gathered together, the harvest was considerable.
After finishing the cleanup, Ethan arrived at the Sky family residence.
"Three hours from now, all members of the Sky family will gather at the center of Blue-Wave City."
He looked at Max and Bella.
"Understood."
The two cupped their hands.
Ethan nodded and turned to Lunara and Kara.
"Let us go."
The three transformed into streaks of light and flew toward the center of Blue-Wave City.
Late at night.
Deep beneath Blue-Wave City, within ancient ruins hidden underground.
Dragon Leviathan Fish and Pyra opened their eyes simultaneously.
One pair of golden pupils and one pair of charming eyes met in silence.
"Big fellow, do I look beautiful?"
Pyra asked with a teasing smile.
"Moo..."
Dragon Leviathan Fish blinked its golden eyes and let out a dull sound.
"Hmph. A fool indeed. You understand nothing of charm."
She stood and took out a mirror, admiring her reflection carefully.
"Thanks to Master, we have cultivated here for more than half a year. Our realms have advanced greatly. You, big fellow, are even close to stepping into the Ultimate Demon Lord realm. Truly a foolish beast blessed by fortune."
The Dragon Leviathan Fish twisted its massive body and shrank into a smaller form, lying on the ground and patting its belly with its fins.
"It is like playing the lute to a cow."
"Will Master like me?"
Pyra muttered.
"Master does not like loose women."
A cold voice suddenly echoed within the ruins.
Pyra’s expression darkened instantly.
Her delicate face filled with anger.
"Who said that? Show yourself."
She stared toward the source of the sound.
A large spherical object bounced across the ground.
As the voice faded, the sphere exploded like a ruptured balloon.
A splash of pale red liquid spread across the floor.
Click. Click. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦
An Evil Mantis emerged from the shattered orb.
It had passed infancy and entered a stage of rapid growth.
Two black scythe like claws trembled slightly.
Its movements were stiff at first, like a corpse rising from a coffin.
Within a few breaths, it adapted.
A humanoid mantis stood upright.
Its entire body was gray with smooth lines resembling armor.
A gray light flared, illuminating the ruins.
Pyra raised her arm to shield her eyes. Dragon Leviathan Fish covered its gaze with its fins.
When the light faded, a tall young man in gray armor stood before them.
The Evil Mantis had transformed into human form.
His features were sharp and firm.
His pupils were peculiar.
An outer ring of black, an inner ring of white, capable of turning blood red.
"Mantis?"
Pyra narrowed her eyes and examined him carefully.
She was surprised.
Though he did not appear old, his realm was beyond her perception.
"You little thing, what did you just say about me?"
Pyra asked coldly.
They were all Ethan’s spirit beasts.
She intended to establish her position immediately.
Dragon Leviathan Fish was large but simple minded.
This mantis appeared troublesome.
The Evil Mantis looked at her.
A mist flickered within his black and white pupils.
In the next instant, a terrifying aura surged outward and enveloped Pyra completely.
"The Ultimate Demon Lord!"
Pyra’s face changed drastically.
Her legs trembled slightly.
She was merely an Upper Demon Lord.
She could not withstand the full pressure of an Ultimate Demon Lord.
A massive phantom of a mantis flashed behind him, accompanied by a sharp and violent cry.
"One of the Eight Strange and Ferocious Beasts. The Evil Mantis."
Pyra finally recognized him.
Shock filled her heart.
At the same time, her admiration for Ethan surged like a raging river.
Such a terrifying beast had been subdued.
Her choice had not been wrong.
"Moo."
The Dragon Leviathan Fish let out a dull roar.
