Greatest Streamer System-Chapter 339 - – Butcher’s Mission
After getting his weapon and armor, Max walked around the station to find the next mission. Jamal disappeared somewhere after saying he heard a beauty in the need, which was a bit absurd. That was why he was a bit in a bind.
'I can't find the guiding light.'
The clue to the next main storyline. The lump of light that would lead him to the next mission giver. Somehow, he wasn't able to find it this time.
Not only that, even when he walked around the station, he was unable to find someone with a question mark above their head.
'Should I follow where Jamal went? Maybe it's that way.'
"Hmm, this is troubling." He hummed and stopped in the middle of the station, looking around. "Where should I go next?
— What's the matter?
— Kekeke, he's unable to find the clue to the next mission
— This is the most troublesome part of this game… You don't know anything when the yapper leaves you
— Guide will help you a lot at times like this, but… Why don't you explore more?
"Explore more? I walked around this station and found nothing. What's there to explore? Where to?" Max asked the chat as he read their suggestion.
Most of them were silly suggestions, but some made sense, and he decided to pry more. He was half given up on finding the clue himself after finishing his round in this station.
'If only there was a map with some marks as a guide.' He thought as he read the chat again.
— Outside? I mean, it exist. I am surprised you can be dumb sometimes
— My man, the map isn't just limited to the station
— It seems you forget that Utopia is a large city, not limited to the train station
— How dare you forget Blackie and Old Man Rig! If you say that looking around the station is everywhere, then you can think they don't exist either!
— Breeze has dementia lol
— Cough, are you by any chance an introvert who thought your room is the whole world? It's okay, I understand
"Oh. I-... I have no excuse..."
Only then did he realize his mistake. He had been confined in this station and thought that the mission would be limited around this place. His inexperience at playing open-world games was truly apparent here.
"You guys are right. Shit, I should've realized that sooner. Jamal makes everything easier by giving me a mission just by talking to him. He's a convenient man. I hope those ladies he heard won't use him for nothing good."
After realizing his mistake, Max walked out of the station. Just as he exited, he saw what he desperately wanted to find: a lump of light floating in the middle of a street.

Upon seeing that, his eyes widened in surprise.
"I have to say, you guys are lifesavers." He said as he approached the light.
— You can express that more directly, you know?
— Yeah, yeah… Cough, like dropping 50 premium Punch accounts
— That would be wonderful *nod nod*
— Forget 50, 10 is enough. Do drop it kekekeke
"As if. I am already poor as is."
When Max approached the light, it recognized his presence and began to move. He followed it going into the city. Passing the street and intersection, Max arrived at what seemed like a butcher shop with many meats displayed on the shelf and hung on the ceiling.
A troubled-looking man resting his head on his hand could be seen behind the counter. He had a question mark on top of his head. Max guessed that this man would be the next quest giver.
"A butcher?" He asked quietly and approached the butcher. "Is there something wrong?" He asked the man, and he raised his head.
"Ah? A mercenary?" The butcher's voice was low and dispirited. "What do you want?" He looked unfriendly, most probably due to having something in mind.
"I asked if there was something wrong, Mr. Branch," Max asked once again, using the store name he saw behind the man to address him. "I saw you slumped over. Is there something I can help you with?"
"Something to help me with… Yeah, it would be great if there is someone willing to help without asking for compensation." The butcher, Mr. Branch, muttered.
"But just talking might help me. You see, the Cuckoo's meat has been decreasing in the market. It's all because of that Altacroz is nesting near Cuckoo's nest. As a result, my store has been in red for a week already. If this goes any longer… Ahh! I need to close my store and won't be able to feed my family!"
"Altacroz?"
"Yeah, that monster. Its favorite food is eggs. Because Cuckoo lays eggs every day, it decided to stay near its nest and enjoyed it. If this goes any longer, the Cuckoo's population near Utopia will decrease. Mercenaries won't look at it before it becomes a problem. But I know, sooner or later…"
Mr. Branch paused for a little before raising his head.
"Now that I see your weapon, it seems you're quite a strong mercenary. Say, are you willing to slay Altacroz for me? I can't promise you a lot of reward except for the monster's material and a bit of money. I ask this not for me but for all people in Utopia who love Cuckoo!"
It sounded like a main mission. The mark above the butcher's head was also gold, meaning he had to finish this to continue the main story.
Max nodded, "I can help."
[Ding! A new mission is generated.]
[Altacroz Hunting]
[Altacroz has made its appearance around Utopia Cuckoo's nest. Mercenaries haven't helped yet because the situation isn't urgent. However, if this situation is ignored, Cuckoo's population will decrease! Chase Altacroz away or kill it to prevent the disaster!]
"Oooh! Thank you, good mercenary!" Mr. Branch beamed with a smile as he shook Max's hands.
After a while, he pulled away and gave Max a direction.
"Altacroz has been sighted near the West area. Just exit the west gate and go toward the first mountain you see. There, you will find Cuckoo. I believe the monster is hiding in the forest around that area. Please… I beg you, please chase it away!"
"Alright. Just leave it to me!"
Max walked away. The quest was pretty straightforward and pretty easy. It would be perfect to test his new sword and armor.
"The first mountain in the west, huh?" He muttered as he looked at the west gate. It could be found easily because the gate had a large W written on top. "I guess I have to stop by Old Man Rig to get Blackie. It will be our first hunt together."
