She immediately used the Transcension Boat to cut off the infected part of her existence and separate it permanently from her.

This worked, but it consumed a lot of the golden radiance of the tool. It also weakened her a little.

But she didn’t dwell too much on those problems. She rushed away immediately while cloaking herself in the Transcension Boat.

A few seconds after she left, space was torn asunder in the location where the surgery had just occurred. The world turned upside, light disappeared, and void energy became turbulent.

It was all because of the large beast that had appeared. The beast had moved so fast that a tear could be seen across the path that it had taken to arrive in this location.

The beast looked around and frowned. Then it picked up the dark piece of itself and absorbed it.

Then Legion-4’s eyes lit up. He chuckled and said, "So that’s it. It wasn’t an usurper. Interesting. Very interesting."

He found it most interesting that there was no information about her in the archive of the void universe, which he briefly gained access to through the Cosmic source.

According to her memories, she had been in the void universe for more than two chaos cycles. But the void universe has no information about her. The best the void universe has are traces she might have left behind, but nothing about her directly.

He shook his head in regret and said, "It is good for her that she didn’t have a Supreme law, or this would be more interesting."

She thought that she was unfortunate for not having a Supreme law to resist the infection, but things would have been worse for her if she had a Supreme law.

If she had a Supreme law, then there was no way she would have been able to hide and escape from him after making contact with him.

With his Aspect of Infection and Knowledge, he would have infected her Supreme law and know part of it, so he would surely be able to find her. But the best he got from her existence was some information and memories.

Unfortunately, she is not happy. She is distraught and afraid. It is because her trouble wasn’t over.

By cutting a part of existence away, she had weakened herself. It meant she wasn’t perfectly invulnerable anymore. It meant that if one of her brothers got a hold of her now, they would have a higher chance of consuming her.

So she was still panicking after escaping Legion.

"What do I do now? How do I continue with this problem?"

It isn’t even the end of the void universe yet, and things are already unraveling. The only good thing about the situation is that her brother won’t be able to succeed either. Not with an enemy like Legion.

The bad part is that at this rate, Legion will be the one to benefit from all their troubles and take the inheritance of the lord of Madness for himself. This is likely to be the case now that he has gained part of her memories.

She snorted and said derisively, "Does he even need the legacy of the lord of madness? From what I saw, he is good on his own."

This is the reason why she wanted to help him become a Limitless. She was hoping that he wouldn’t need the legacy and would be willing to work with her in exchange for something else.
