That was what Yuno thought while watching a ’scene’ play right in front of him.

Yuno frowned because of two things.

First, he still couldn’t get used to how Moon Noa addressed people now.

"How could I mean that literally, Hyung-nim? You’re an adult, duh. So, the size of your heart should be average. Or maybe yours is actually bigger. After all, high-ranking Awakened People need a bigger heart to store their Core."

"As expected, we should really go our separate ways, Sajangnim."

Moon Noa gasped. "Why are you suddenly calling me ’sajangnim’ instead of ’hyung?’"

"You’re my boss now, so I’ll call you ’Sajangnim’ starting today," Yuno said, waving his hand dismissively. "Please don’t act like you know me in public."

"Yuyu, stop being mean to me."

"I’ll call you ’hyung-nim’ again if you tell me about what happened that day."

"I don’t know what you’re talking about, Yuyu."

"Our memories were synchronized up to a certain point only," Yuno said bluntly. "You’re hiding something from me, Sajangnim."

"Don’t take it to heart, Yuyu," Moon Noa said while patting his shoulder. "I’m doing this to protect you."

SO, the secret was really about Sajangnim’s heart.

That was Yuno’s first thought after his ’dream’ ended.

But what does he mean by protecting me?

"Noh Yuno, you’re awake?"

Yuno opened his eyes when he heard Ki Gayoon’s voice.

As expected, the Esper looked very worried about him.

"Hyung, I’m alright," Yuno assured Ki Gayoon immediately while getting up. "I’m not in pain anymore."

Ki Gayoon let out a relieved sigh. "I’m glad to hear that. Lee Woonhak checked on you earlier, but he couldn’t find anything wrong with you." The Esper’s face hardened. "Is it the System again?"

"Yes, Hyung. Apparently, my connection to Sajangnim had been severed already."

"Ah, that’s why."

"That’s why what, Hyung?"

"Noa Hyung and Haru Hyung left without saying where they’d be going."

It was still strange to hear Ki Gayoon call Moon Noa and Haru ’hyung,’ but it wasn’t the right time to focus on that.

"Well, we already know where they’re going," Yuno said, leaning against the headboard. "I bet they’re already moving to retrieve half of Sajangnim’s heart. And it’s not hard to figure out that Ryu Sungbin-ssi has it."

"I agree with you, Babe Princess. But did you remember something? You were sleep-talking."

"Oh. What did I say?"

"I didn’t understand most of it, but you definitely said ’Noa Hyung-nim’ instead of ’Sajangnim."

Ah.

"I dreamed of the past..."

Yuno’s explanation was cut off when they heard a knock on the door.

And when the door opened slightly, Lee Hansol’s head poked in.

"Leehan Hyung," Yuno greeted the older man, surprised. "Sajangnim left you?"

"You’re hurting my feelings, Yuno-ya," Lee Hansol complained. "Anyway, are you feeling better now?"

"Yes, Hyung. Why?"

"Noa Hyung-nim’s lawyer wants to talk to you."

"Huh? About what?"

"Your inheritance," Lee Hansol said bluntly. "Noa Hyung-nim entrusted his entire wealth to you, Yuno-ya."

Yuno almost choked on his saliva. "Excuse me?"

"IN THE unfortunate event that Moon Noa-nim dies, everything he owns— from trillions of won to real estate properties— would be inherited by Noh Yuno-nim immediately."

Yuno almost sighed after hearing what Jung Kwangsoo, Moon Noa’s lawyer, said.

But he held back because the lawyer wasn’t done talking yet.

"Moon Noa-nim sent me here to let you know that you have access to everything he owns starting today, Noh Yuno-nim," Jung Kwangsoo added. "You can use his money and properties however you want without question."

"What if Sajangnim’s family sues me?" Yuno asked worriedly. "Those people are lusting after Sajangnim’s wealth."

Yes, Moon Noa was from a chaebol family.

But his boss had made more fortune than his family post-apocalypse.

And those greedy billionaires are eyeing Sajangnim’s wealth.

That was probably why Moon Noa made Yuno his heir.

He can’t entrust his wealth to his family.

"In that case, Moon Noa-nim gives Ki Gayoon-nim permission to kill his family— and Moon Noa-nim’s family is aware of that," Jung Kwangsoo said. "Since Moon Noa-nim’s family knows the consequences of suing you, I don’t think they’d do it. But in case they still try..."

The lawyer trailed off, and then glanced at the person sitting next to Yuno.

"Alright, I got it," Ki Gayoon, who had been quiet all this time, broke his silence for the first time. "I’ll kill them as soon as they harass Noh Yuno."

Yuno ignored Ki Gayoon’s casual agreement to that ridiculous request.

To be honest, he didn’t care about Moon Noa’s wealth.

I mean, I already have Gayoon Hyung who’s just as rich.

However, Moon Noa’s influence was greater than Ki Gayoon, who was hated by at least half of the world for his arrogance.

"Sir, can I use the power that Sajangnim lent to me?" Yuno asked, his brain already on an overdrive. "I can use it right now for my next move."
