Hated By The Alpha-Chapter 183: Leon’s Arrival
Sebastian called on the gods he knew for strength as his lips molded on Green’s warm ones. His heart was racing, and his wolf was going wild.
It was a slow kiss, no tongue involved.
He couldn’t believe he was kissing the cold, stoic girl who always pissed him off, so he was taking his time to get her to relax.
He wanted to ravish her, but he didn’t want to scare her away, he knew it already took great effort to hold her in his arms.
Green’s hands were placed on his chest, an unconscious barrier, but her lips did move.
Slowly but surely, her lips danced to Sebastian’s tone; her eyes closed as thoughts of what Sebastian wanted to do to her seeped into her mind, playing with different images that got her panting and sweating.
Her hands on his chest gripped his shirt tightly, her lips suddenly parting to let him in.
Sebastian’s hand pulled her closer as his tongue slid into her parted mouth, his body gently shaking as he drew in a shaky breath through his nostrils.
"Ouch!" Sebastian suddenly pulled away, his hand holding the side of his lip as he stared at Green with questioning and amused eyes.
Green blinked slowly, confusion written all over her face as she stared at Sebastian’s lips.
"You’re such a bad kisser," Sebastian chuckled, watching her blush.
Green bit her lips and wanted to step away from him.
Sebastian held her tightly, "Hey, don’t go..." he placed his hands on the sides of her face.
"I really wish I could tell you that you’re a good kisser, but you’re not, Green. I guess that’s the only thing you’re not good at. But..." he traced his thumb over his lips, "That doesn’t mean your lips are not to die for; they taste heavenly. I never knew that these sharp, sassy lips could taste so good; I would have kissed you a long time ago to shut them up," He whispered.
Green frowned; she couldn’t differentiate his insults from his compliments. "I’ve never kissed anyone." She said and stepped away from him.
"Woah, woah, hold your horses," Sebastian took a step forward and grabbed her elbow.
"Leave already, Sebastian. I need to run some errand for Audrey," She turned and faced him.
"We’re back with the ice queen," He rolled his eyes as he drew her closer, his arms wrapping around her again.
Green had a frown on her face; she was not yet comfortable with the new proximity to Sebastian; it was all weird to her.
"Green?" Sebastian called to get her attention.
"What?" Green raised a brow at him.
Sebastian sighed, "Gosh... this woman. Can you at least act like I just gave you your first kiss?" He raised an exasperated brow.
"Well, you already know. Do you need a certificate for that?" Green questioned.
"Unbelievable... could you at least look like it meant something to you?" His voice dropped, softer now.
"Did it mean anything to you?" Green asked, narrowing her eyes.
Sebastian opened his mouth to answer but he couldn’t form a response.
"Look, Alpha, it might be my first kiss, but I’m not naive. It was just a kiss, don’t make it look like a mating ceremony. Or... are you in love with me?" She smirked.
Sebastian scoffed, "So, if I was your first kiss..." His eyes traveled down to her chest and slowly back up to her face, "Do I get to be your first man, too?" He asked seductively.
Green’s face twisted in disgust, "No." She took a deep breath and looked him squarely in the eyes.
"You don’t get to be my anything, Sebastian. Being annoying is nice enough; don’t make it easier for me to hate you, I already don’t like you," She gave him a fake smile and stepped away from him.
"Okay. For the record, you’re a bad kisser, a very, very, bad one. Don’t go kissing any other person, you’d leave them traumatized," Sebastian fired back.
"Leave," Green went over to the door and pulled it open.
Sebastian casually went over to the table and took the last piece of steak before walking toward the door.
"I’ll have this," He dangled the piece of meat in her face before pushing it into his mouth.
With a smirk, he winked at her and walked out of the room.
Green brought out her face and stared at him, her heart finally beating out of control. She had been controlling it in his presence; his wolf ears would have picked up how anxious she was from the kiss, and he wouldn’t have let her off so easily.
She should avoid him; she knows how every other couple started; everyone started with not liking their partners, but look at them now, all clingy and boring.
She wasn’t against love or anything, she just didn’t want to let herself fall in love because it was boring.
She couldn’t see herself turning soft for someone, losing all her cool and being easily accessible.
Especially not to that annoying Sebastian, he’d never stop talking about how he broke down her walls.
"Oh, hi, Green," Sandra was walking by her door and saw her poking her head out of her room.
Green blinked, realizing that Sebastian’s was long gone, "Hi, Sandra, what’s up?" She cleared her throat and straightened up.
"Hmm, quite sus. Who were you staring at?" Sandra asked.
Green raised a brow at Sandra, "Mind your business." She said and retreated into her room, shutting her door.
"Mmm?" Sandra tilted her head in bewilderment, "I thought we were becoming friends?" She murmured.
With a shrug, she walked away.

In Lake’s office, Melody sat in front of his desk, her fingers gently grazing her knee as she waited for Lake to ask her whatever he wanted.
She knew why she had been summoned but she hoped he’d ask something else.
"Look at this, Melody," Lake took out a paper from his drawer and slid it over to her.
Melody looked up and saw the familiar paper, a paper she believed she wouldn’t see again. Her plans failed; she couldn’t succeed in seducing him, and hence, why he was bringing up that annoying paper again.
She took a deep breath and placed her hand over the paper, "Alpha... we don’t have to do this," she stared at his face with her teary eyes.
Lake wasn’t fazed by her drama. "We had an agreement, Melody, and even when you went out of your way to breach some of the rules by staking claim over me, I let it slide because I didn’t want you to feel humiliated. Now, I can’t allow that to keep happening." He stood from his chair and walked over to her side.
He dropped a pen onto her lap and said, "It doesn’t really matter if you sign it or not, as the agreement says: if by the end of our three years, we do not fall in love with each other, or we fall in love with someone else, the contract automatically becomes null. I just need you to sign it so you would know it’s officially annulled." He explained.
Melody squeezed her fist, "Alpha, Audrey is not who she -"
"She is not your business. Sign the paper, Melody; I do appreciate your father’s help in offering to use you as my cure. But as you’ve seen, I’m perfectly fine, Audrey is my cure. I’m not forcing you to leave my pack; you’re welcome to stay as long as you want. Just sign the damned paper," He pinned his eyes on her.
Melody sniffed, her heart, breaking. She gripped the pen tightly, her heart was full of hatred as she signed the papers, confirming the nullified contract.
"Thank you for your compliance. From now on, I will no longer tolerate any slightest insults from you to my Luna, are we clear?" His voice was calm and clear.
Melody balled her fists and slowly nodded, "I understand Alpha," She replied.
"Leave," He instructed. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚
Melody stood, bowed, and left the office.
She wasn’t expecting to meet Audrey at the door as she left; she looked away to hide her defeat, jealousy, and anger.
The battle was nowhere near over, it was time to get her father involved.
Inside the office, Lake saw Audrey approaching him and a smile instantly lit his face, "Hey, Angel," He met her halfway and hugged her, "You need something?" He asked gently.
"No... I was getting worried, thought you were -"
"Thought I was what?" His arms tightened around her, "You don’t believe what I told you?" He whispered close to her lips.
"Mm... what’s that?" She asked, licking her lips as she traced her finger along his waistband.
"You don’t believe that I love you, Audrey, and it hurts. I feel like..."
"Shhh... Mikhail’s asked you to take him to the forest," She informed him.
Lake sighed, "Okay," He replied, looking sad.
"Come on," Audrey pulled him behind her, excited for the outing.
"Moma! Leon’s here!" Mikhail shouted excitedly as he saw his parents coming down the stairs.
