"I’ve made my decision—that’s what I want!" I walked across the glass bridge to the very end, my body transforming more and more.

The evolution seemed to touch my mind and soul, then advance further, brushing against every part of my body.

The evolution began to solidify as I moved forward, again and again—this was my new form.

Suddenly, I stopped in the middle of the platform, my eyes opening to the physical world and peering beyond Starry Sky, beyond Axel or Condor.

I smiled, sensing an ancient gaze glancing at me from the central figure of a sect.

And then, suddenly, a hundred pairs of eyes beneath him fell upon me, each one possessing enough power to destroy the continent along with every one of its kings.

"Let’s see what you’re capable of."

He said that as I returned to myself, my body shifting every instant, making the rats recoil from the radiance.

Slowly, my body rose into the air as a vortex of energy formed around me.

All the energy of Starry Sky began to be drawn into the vortex, with me at its center.

The rats screamed, trying to understand what was happening.

The energy exploded outward once more as my real body fell to the ground again.

Fire ran through the inside of my body, making my throat glow—and then I fired.

Flames capable of melting entire mountains burst forth from my throat.

This was StarFire!

I roared in satisfaction.

Then I looked at my physical body, which bordered on the immaterial—a map of scattered comets alongside a wounded sun and a ruined moon.

Before I could fully process it, the stones around me began to rise from the ground, drawn toward me.

"This I didn’t expect..." I said, watching a ring of stones form around me. "I have my own gravity... I wonder if I can learn to manipulate it."

I nodded in satisfaction, believing I could—but that would stay in the backlog. There were already hundreds of new abilities I wanted to explore.

But first, I moved my body up and down, without any difficulty and with minimal energy expenditure. Flight was natural in this form.

Slowly, I molded and remolded Ludwig’s body until it became a perfect replica, inside and out.

"That’s it!" I said in awe. "The perfect hybrid form—I copied an evolution!"

Immediately, I felt my main consciousness and the legacy consciousness. Both abilities had evolved, allowing me to do something new.

I switched bodies.

I became my shadow, and Ludwig took the main body.

"Ludwig, keep my main body and turn into a shadow again," I said, and he did so.

I stretched my neck, staring at him. My shadow had become me, and I had become my shadow.

"With this, everything is done."

I then touched my naked body—a body I had created from scratch, almost like a god.

Knowledge of flesh and blood present in the healing skill was used, along with knowledge of ethereal shadows acquired through evolution.

"Truly, an impressive feat." I began opening and closing my hand, trying to feel the Primordial Force, and then I started throwing punches.

Before long, my entire body was coated in the smoky silk that was Primordial Force.

"Master?" Love asked at my side, approaching slowly. "Is this your evolution? You became something beyond a demon—a—"

"Nah," I said, laughing. "I just took the first step. This is my first evolution."

The eyes of Love and the rats around us widened, their small mouths dropping open.

"Master... you were a Wild, without evolution?" she asked in disbelief. "You weren’t a demon?"

"No, there’s still a long journey ahead." I laughed. "Today, I became Ferocious."

"I guess that’s to be expected of a tiger..." she said, coming closer and soon climbing onto me.

Love stopped above my shoulder.

"Anyway, where to now?" she said, looking toward the horizon. "With your power, conquering a kingdom shouldn’t be impossible. Condor is a good option."

I burst out laughing.

"Conquer Condor, huh?" I murmured. "I can think about it—but first, there’s something to take care of... Anyway, come to me and hold on tight. We’re traveling very far, and very fast."

"I hope Raiden and the others haven’t missed me." I murmured.
