Heavenly Opposers-Chapter 264 - 263-Making A Deal.
"You are one sly boy, aren’t you?" Adria asked, to which Azrail shrugged his shoulders, his answer ever-present in his actions as Adria started to speak.
"I will help you; it sounds fun, but you will owe me for this, got it?"
Azrail nodded his head at those words, agreeing directly as he spoke. "Sure, it would be a small price to pay for the gifts that shall fall into my hands."
To this, Adria replied, floating right in front of him. "Sure, I can help with it all, but I still need the hints and a small basic idea of what you want to lay down."
Azrail, with a smirk, started to speak, his words flowing smoothly while his arrogant, greedy desire was laid bare. Adria first started to listen with a calm face, but her expression turned more and more bizarre as she heard through Azrail’s plans. His end goal itself brought down a chill through Adria’s back.
The only one in the room without a change in expression, taking in everything with a leisurely gaze, was Ravenna, who just kept enjoying her pats, letting the rest of the information not affect her at all. Thus, within 10 minutes, Azrail had spoken the gist of his plan. It wasn’t concrete, but it laid out the small pieces of information he had, along with his final goal, to which Adria replied with confidence.
"You are batshit crazy."
"I’ll take that as a compliment," Azrail replied, to which all Adria could do was shake her head in disbelief. The inner length of the greed that the boy in front of her held shocked even her, but it was soon stroked by the vengeance and anger she held too. Several scenarios ran through her mind as she spoke.
"It won’t be easy, and it will take time. There’s a very low chance of it happening as you play too, but if we play our cards right, we might just be able to pull it off."
Azrail nodded his head at that, the smirk on his face not receding as he raised his hand towards her and spoke.
"To our successful cooperation."
The soul of Adria looked at the hand in front of her for a second, after which she shook it, the deal being established today, one that would come to change the whole structure of Olympus, one that might even bring Armageddon, the destruction of everything forward.
And just as the deal was finalized, a ring sounded in his mind, the discussion between the girls seemingly done as Adria, with a smirk, spoke.
"Go now, after all, you don’t want to die in your sleep, do you?"
The threat in her voice was very present as Azrail closed his eyes, soon appearing back in the virtual room he had left. The coldness that had held the room was now a bit less as he looked through each of the girls and spoke.
"I’m guessing you all reached a certain agreement?"
To his words, Valencia replied, "It can be seen like that."
Her words were followed up by Yurou, "We made some progress."
"We won’t kill each other for now," Lysandra chimed in at the end as the three girls looked at each other, a certain rivalry flashing through their eyes as Lysandra spoke.
"Azrail, it will take me a few years to finish the trials set forth by that woman, so after that, we will definitely conquer the tower."
Her smile was a mix of love and defiance, to which Yurou chimed in.
"My family all want to see you. After all, my mark lays in you, and it’s very important they meet you."
Her words seemed a challenge to Lysandra’s, the tension a bit higher as Azrail, with a smile, intervened in between them.
"Let’s just calm down for now; we will deal with it as time goes, and I also can’t just show myself to the world now, not yet anyway."
Azrail didn’t need to explain the reasons as the three understood. Thus, with one last look at each other, Lysandra and Yurou disappeared, the two of them leaving their own intimate message and call in Azrail’s mind as they went, leaving only Azrail and Valencia in the room as Azrail sat in the chair a bit tired.
And it didn’t even take a minute before Valencia was on my lap, her hands around my neck as she spoke with a light smile.
"All of them are dangerous, I tell you. Are you sure you don’t just want me? I can be all they are not~"
Valencia didn’t forget to spread her own charm as she spoke of this, boosting her beauty to another whole level as I slowly kept patting Valencia’s waist, my eyes coming to find her beautiful sparkling ones as I spoke.
"Don’t you already know the answer to it?"

My words made Valencia pout as she snuggled closer into Azrail’s embrace, her words filling his ears.
"We have reached an agreement of sorts. Within a week, we will start creating a certain coincidence to first unleash our meeting."
These words made Azrail smile as he replied.
"Let me guess, at some sort of young genius meet?"
"Something like that," Valencia replied, her beast companion fox sprouting out from her as it started to run around the room in excitement.
"We would first lay a small coincidence and then grow and show off our great friendship."
Sarcasm filled Valencia as she spoke of the word friendship, to which Azrail, smiling, just kept patting Valencia’s hair as he asked.
"What’s the current number?"
"Close to about 50."
This made Azrail close his eyes for a moment, the number pointing towards the power assassins that had come to target his family. The special technology in hand gave the opportunity to take away several needed pieces of information. The protection that Azrail had spoken of had already spread around, thus providing for their safety.
The ones till now were from the lower heavens, the assassins being from several powerful organizations, and their strength not to be taken lightly. Sadly, with their knowledge completely dull about the techs of the above heavens, they got caught before they could even do anything.
"We have a lot to do, don’t we?"
Azrail asked, to which Valencia remained silent, the two of them just hugging each other and enjoying the peace for the moment, the peace they could get now till the waves all came and hit together.
.....
"So you sent for these all to be assassinated?" Azrail’s mother Lan asked as she sipped on the tea, behind her standing the most powerful ones Azrail had picked up as protectors. Azrail, sitting in front of his mother, nodded his head.
"I did, and Mother should know better how we can use all this to our advantage."
As he said that, Azrail forwarded the list to his mother. When Azrail gave the list to Raven, he didn’t just give them dates; he also gave the way in which they should be assassinated and the timeline in which it should happen. The good thing about this is that their deaths, being about a large amount of chaos, and knowing about it beforehand, would mean making profits, a lot of profits.
The merchant mind in Lan’s head seemingly ran in full drive as the greed started to leak out.
