Help! the four Alpha's are obsessed with me.-Chapter 167 Ending the nightmare.
Matteo could feel stars circling around his face, and his expression twisted in total horror at the trap he had walked into.
He looked up and saw two deadly, vicious men staring at him with murderous rage, sizing him from head to toe. Seeing this, he gulped hard and held his stomach while shifting back on his butt—before a hand suddenly caught him and yanked him up from where he sat.
"You have some nerves attacking my friend. Tell me—why have you been terrorizing him?" Norman asked, being the one questioning him at the moment. He was trying, at least, to keep his cool, because if it were Thomas, he would have exploded right there and blasted the man’s head off. Norman didn’t want that happening—not yet.
"He did something bad to me... he made my life miserable and brought misery upon it, so I wanted to return the favour," Matteo replied, eyes wide as saucers as he took in the muscular men before him.
"He brought misery upon you? Is he the cause of your fingerless nature...?" Norman asked. Matteo shook his head, and Norman facepalmed.
"Then what’s the fuss about, you pussy? Let’s get this straight—I will stay right back and treat your fuck-up, while my friend here goes after Daniel. We’re both going to party like the idea..." Norman grinned like a madman—an eerie, disturbing smile that sent a sharp chill down Matteo’s spine.
Are these two close with Daniel? How did Daniel get to know such people with such disturbing auras? Their pheromones alone were nerve-wracking. Matteo couldn’t even feel himself properly—overwhelmed in every aspect.
"Don’t give me that pitiful look. I haven’t even started your nightmare—because when I officially resume, you will scream in ultimate terror..." Norman declared, not a single ounce of sympathy in his voice.
Matteo didn’t understand why they refused to leave Daniel alone. This would be the last time something like this ever happened, and after today, he would make sure Daniel was guarded day and night to prevent any future situations.
"I’ll be on my way then," Thomas said. "Norman, fuck him up so bad and dump his body on the road. Let the authorities know we helped them take care of the criminal they couldn’t even handle..." He smacked his lips and walked away, leaving the captive in the car as he headed toward the main entrance to search for a cab.
While going, he saw a bicycle and grinned. Sorry to the owner, but this is what I want...
At the end of the road, an old man was bargaining with a seller. The moment he turned back after getting his goods—his bicycle was already in someone else’s hands, rolling away.
He wailed and shouted. Thomas, on the other hand, threw seven huge wads of cash at him before winking.
"That’s for all your troubles. I’ll return it when I’m done."
The startled man froze. For a moment, he couldn’t believe the blessing was meant for him. Seeing that much cash thrown at him felt like something falling from the heavens. He gasped in joy.
"Don’t worry, it’s all yours..." Thomas declared. The man quickly scampered away from the prying eyes of the slum dwellers, because with that amount of money, someone was definitely going to eye him soon.
Back at the Swift residence, trails of blood stained the floor, leading to where Matteo was sitting beside a pillar, hands still around his neck. He was talking with Norman, who was surveying the house—surprised Daniel could manage such a place for so long. It was unlike him. Someone who liked fashion, good design, and especially couldn’t do without his novels had been here for weeks without those luxuries... and survived.
What a new development.
"You’re not talking. What were your plans, dummy? Or should I cut your tongue before you answer such a little question?" Norman barked, making Matteo flinch.
"And who were your cohorts? List them out before I do it myself. If I do, you’re only hastening your doom." Norman thundered. Matteo shivered and began ranting everything he knew.
"I wanted to destroy Daniel’s future—claim his life and prosperity by hijacking Xylander properties with the help of Nicole Shelton and Maxine Wolfe..." Matteo confessed, and Norman nodded.
Fair enough—but too bland. Even daft people would already know those basic goals. Norman needed details—things he didn’t already know.
"You think I don’t know that already, stupid? I’m asking for what I DON’T know, and you’re giving me basic trash. It’s like you WANT me to chop you up right now," Norman snapped. Matteo began begging like the coward he was.
"No—truth is, I didn’t go that much into detail. I didn’t need to. That was all I ever wanted—to use Xylander wealth and make my comeback, become more powerful than Adrian ever was. I never got the spotlight in the underworld, so this was my chance. And ending Daniel’s life? I would gain fanbase and popularity from his massive lovers online. That was my ploy... until our plans began crashing." Matteo spat blood from his busted lips.
"Joshua—the one faking Daniel’s identity—was turning against us, doing the opposite of what we wanted. And Nicole too—secretly, I knew she was planning to betray me. I wanted to surprise them. That’s why I came here—to try to use the real Daniel Lancaster. Only to get attacked by the guy he was staying with," he said bitterly.
So this was his end. After several attempts to end that bitch’s life, he still didn’t succeed. Maybe in another lifetime, he would destroy him.
"Wow. I’m marvelled at how idiotic you all are. Used by a girl like Nicole? Daniel played all of you. But fine—you’re going to meet her in hell anyway," Norman said. Matteo blinked, confused.
"Oh, you don’t know? The news circulating around—Nicole Shelton is dead. She committed suicide..." Norman’s smile faded into a maddening grin.
"You killed her, didn’t you?" Matteo asked, more like confirming something he already feared.
"Of course we ended her life. What do you take me for, gurl? Anyway—back to business. Daniel was thinking... shouldn’t we frame one of you as the killer of the girl?" Norman checked his phone suddenly.
Another notification. Something from hours ago, something he hadn’t replied to.
A change of plans.
He wants someone framed for Nicole’s murder—but let it be Alessandro Lancaster. The perfect bait. Daniel’s worthless father. All they had to do was link everything to him and make it look like he planned it with Nicole to pull down Xylander, out of jealousy that his bastard son was getting a rich man who wouldn’t look in his direction.
And to hide that he was fucking someone else despite being married and having a family. That was all part of his scheme to hide his sins—and from there, he could destroy his family.
Daniel had thought of these plans for so long, and it was unfortunate they got attacked by Matteo today, so Matteo could now be killed off—he had no further use.
But as for Nicole’s demise, Alessandro would face it. His reputation would plummet. Everything he had ever done would be used against him.
Norman liked the plan. He looked at Matteo—poor thing was going to die.
And after this, Joshua would be killed. Then Daniel would disappear for some time, faking his death, before returning to obliterate his family from the surface of the earth.
"You’re not going to be framed, Matt. Lucky you..." Norman said.
Matteo’s eyes widened. If he wasn’t being framed... then what?
Kill him. No. NO.
But that was exactly Norman’s plan.
He lifted a dagger and drove it deep into Matteo’s neck, severing his windpipe.
Matteo gagged and gasped for air, but it was fading fast. Blood poured out in enormous amounts. His vision dimmed as he collapsed, his head rolling like a ball across the floor—
"Rest in pieces, cunt."
