"That’s enough for today; if you have any more questions, then you can contact our lawyers," Zachary said. "Jules, see them out."

"Thank you for your cooperation," Bryce said with a smile and was about to follow Jules to the door when he noticed Leon looking at Zachary with a frown on his face.

Bryce held Leon’s wrist and dragged him out of the house.

"Why were you glaring at him like that? Don’t forget what the chief told us, the Sanders is not a family that can be messed with."

"Even if they are murderers?"

"We saw the footage; Eliana was at the hall at the time Jason was stabbed so it can’t be her."

Leon sighed and said, "I know it wasn’t her, but it is connected to her. Jason calling Eliana’s name means two things, it is either he wanted to see her one last time, or Jason knew that whoever stabbed him was going after Eliana."

"So the girl is in danger?"

"Could be. What do you know about Zachary Sanders?"

"Apart from him winning Businessman of the Year over and over again, there is nothing to him. But why do you ask?"

"I’m curious about him."

Bryce widened his eyes in surprise and said, "That is a first, you have never been curious about anyone in your entire life."

"Maybe it’s because no one has ever made me feel uneasy the way he does. He gives me bad vibes."

Bryce scoffed and asked "And what type of vibe do you think you give to me? Let’s go and see if that Leah girl is finally ready to talk because I cannot take another crying episode."

Leon glanced at the mansion one last time before entering the car.

"They are gone Ma," Jules reported as soon as he saw the car driving away.

"He called my name. Why would Jason call my name at that moment?" Eliana muttered to herself and then looked at Zach with a realization in her eyes "The message? It wasn’t Jason that sent me that message."

"What message?" Charlotte asked with a frown.

"Eliana received a message from Jason asking her to meet him at the rooftop, but she replied to him that she couldn’t make it, and just within a minute of her sending that message, Leah ran into the hall crying for help," Zach explained.

"How come you didn’t know your assistant was sleeping with Jason?"

"Am I supposed to keep a tag on whom Leah sleeps with?" Eliana replied to her mother-in-law with a question.

"Good point."

Zachary sighed and said "Mom, handle the media. The less they talk about this, the better. Eliana, go see Leah and find out if Jason said anything else apart from your name."

"And you?" Charlotte asked.

"I will find out why Jason called my wife’s name with his dying breath and who sent her that message to meet on the rooftop."

"Have you seen the news? The Sanders family is trying to suppress it. However, all the elite women are talking about how Charlotte’s party turned into a murder event." Sloane said to her husband with a smile.

Henry frowned at her excitement and asked "Why do you look so excited?"

"The Sanders family is being dragged through the mud because even with the extent of their wealth, they couldn’t provide tight security for their guests. How can anyone go to a party hosted by them again?"

"Did you have anything to do with what happened to Jason?" Henry asked with a frown.

"What? Have you lost your mind? What kind of question is that?"

"You claimed you weren’t feeling too well, but if I recall correctly, you were doing all right in the afternoon."

"Just because I didn’t want to go to a stupid party hosted by Charlotte doesn’t mean I would be stupid enough to murder the Lennox family’s only son. I am not a killer, Henry, and according to the information I got, it was Eliana’s assistant who found Jason, who knows if it was her who did it."

"Eliana may be rude and cold but she isn’t a killer."

"I wouldn’t bet my money on it."

Henry sighed and stood up, saying, "I’m going to my room."

"Did you see Amber?"

"Yes, I did."

"How is she?"

Henry shrugged and replied, "She seemed fine, and we barely spoke so..."

"She seemed fine? You and I know that she isn’t fine; it’s been a year already, and Solar Technologies is doing splendidly well, Amber no longer needs to be married to Nolan."

"You are right, she can get a divorce if she wants."

"Really? Will you give her a spot at Solar Technologies? Now that she can no longer achieve her dreams of being an actress, I think being the COO of Solar Technologies wouldn’t be a bad idea, especially if you plan to make her your successor."

"Then it’s a good thing I plan on not making her my successor."

"Don’t bring her into this."

"So defensive of her. Tell me, are you really in love with that golddigger? You do know that she is only with you for your money, right?" Sloane asked, purely disgusted by Henry’s mistress.

"At least she doesn’t nag me like you do and is faithful to me. Solar Technologies is my company, and I will give it to whomever I damn feel like giving it to." Henry said and left to his room.

"You must be dreaming if you think I will let you leave me for that useless slut. The only reason I have been silent is because I wanted you to have your fun, but now I think it’s time I put an end to it."
