Chapter 435: Five Isekai Idiots Running Factions

Garion stood on the rocky ridge with his arms crossed, still thinking about what Sorien had just said.

He scratched the back of his head slowly. "To think the leader of Black Chimera is also an otherworlder..."

He let out a small breath and shook his head. "No wonder he could create something like that."

Garion’s eyes narrowed slightly with interest. "That kind of cultivation path... it’s not something people in this world would normally think of."

He smirked a little. "Thinking outside the box like that... I guess in that sense he’s a bit like me."

Both Sorien and Dahlia frowned immediately.

Sorien looked at him with disbelief. "Like you?"

His tone was clearly skeptical. "How can you compare yourself to him? That man is practically a demon."

Dahlia crossed her arms and nodded in agreement. "Exactly, Master."

Her face looked a little disgusted. "We train our bodies. We build strength properly." 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚

She gestured toward the direction of Draconia. "Not like them. They fuse with disgusting demonic beasts."

Garion raised both hands calmly. "Relax. That’s not what I meant."

He looked at the two of them. "What I mean is the mindset."

Dahlia tilted her head slightly. "The mindset?"

Garion nodded. "Both of us rejected the normal cultivation paths."

He pointed at himself. "I created the God Physique Cultivation Path."

Then he pointed in the vague direction where Black Chimera would be somewhere far away.

"And he created the Demonic Chimera Cultivation Path."

Garion shrugged. "The difference is how we did it."

He smiled faintly. "I perfected the body."

Then his smile turned slightly cold. "He took a shortcut."

Sorien nodded slowly. "That is a good way to put it."

Garion looked thoughtful again. "But still... there’s something interesting here."

He glanced at Sorien. "You said there are already three otherworlders here."

Sorien nodded. "Yes."

Garion counted on his fingers casually. "Me, the Black Chimera leader and Solmira leader."

He looked back at Sorien. "So... are there more?"

Sorien crossed his arms and nodded again. "Since you already revealed yourself, I suppose it’s fine to tell you."

Dahlia looked curious now as well. "Wait... there are more?"

Sorien answered calmly. "There are two others known and also part of Grand Factions."

Garion’s eyebrows lifted. "Oh?"

Sorien continued. "One of them is the current leader of the Supreme Root Sect."

Garion blinked. "The one famous for focusing on cultivation foundations and root strengthening?"

Sorien nodded. "Yes. That one."

Garion chuckled. "I see."

He rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Sounds like someone who read too many cultivation novels and decided the foundation is everything."

Dahlia tilted her head. "What are cultivation novels?"

Garion waved his hand. "Never mind."

Sorien continued. "The last one is also technically a Grand Faction leader."

Garion leaned slightly forward. "Demonic faction?"

Sorien shook his head. "No."

He paused for a second. "It’s not demonic."

Dahlia looked confused. "Then why don’t people like them?"

Sorien sighed slightly. "Because their sect... focuses on pleasure cultivation."

Garion raised an eyebrow. "Pleasure cultivation?"

Sorien nodded. "They call themselves the Night Pleasure Sect."

Dahlia blinked. "...That sounds suspicious."

Garion immediately snorted. "No wonder."

He shook his head with a small laugh. "That one is definitely an otaku."

Dahlia looked even more confused now. "What is an otaku?"

Garion just waved his hand again. "Another thing you don’t need to learn."

Sorien looked between the two of them and sighed quietly. "Anyway..."

He turned his gaze toward the distant horizon. "It seems I need to report this to the higher-ups."

Dahlia tilted her head. "The Solmira leaders?"

Sorien nodded. "Yes."

He crossed his arms while thinking. "Now that Draconia has openly joined the Black Chimera, this situation will become much more complicated."

Garion nodded slowly. "Yeah, that’s definitely not good news."

Sorien continued. "Draconia might not be the strongest Grand Faction, but it is still a Grand Faction."

He looked at Garion. "And now they’ve handed their territory and resources to Black Chimera."

Garion scratched his chin. "That means Black Chimera just gained a new base."

"Exactly," Sorien replied.

Garion nodded again. "Yeah, you should definitely go report that."

Sorien looked at him carefully. "What about you, Garion?"

He pointed slightly in the direction of the islands. "Draconia territory is right beside the God Archipelago."

Sorien continued. "If Black Chimera decides to move, your faction will be the first target."

Garion only smiled. "Don’t worry about that."

He stretched his arms slightly, looking completely relaxed. "God Gym is stronger than you think."

Sorien raised an eyebrow. "Oh?"

Garion glanced at Dahlia. "Besides... nothing big happened this past year, right?"

Dahlia immediately smirked. "Of course not."

She straightened her posture proudly. "The disciples of God Gym have gotten much stronger."

Her eyes gleamed slightly. "We deal with pirates almost every week."

Garion chuckled. "And?"

Dahlia shrugged. "Most of them don’t even last five minutes."

She added casually, "Some of those pirates were actually backed by Draconia."

Garion chuckled softly and tilted his head. "And?"

Dahlia’s smirk widened as she crossed her arms. "We crushed them too."

Sorien nodded slowly. "Yes, I already heard about those pirate incidents."

He looked at both of them seriously. "But this situation is different."

Garion raised an eyebrow slightly.

Sorien continued, his tone steady. "Those pirates were just minor forces supported by Draconia."

"What we are talking about now is the full power of the Draconia Clan... and the Black Chimera behind them."

Dahlia shrugged. "So what?"

Garion smirked. "You heard her."

He pointed casually toward Dahlia.

"If our disciples can crush Draconia-backed pirates that easily, then it means we haven’t even needed to use our real strength yet."

He stretched his shoulders slightly. "So don’t worry too much."

Sorien studied the two of them for a moment. Then he let out another quiet sigh. "...You people really are strange."

Garion grinned. "That’s a compliment."

Sorien shook his head slightly before stepping forward. "Alright."

He began preparing another transportation array beneath his feet. "For now, I will return to Solmira and report everything."

Garion nodded. "Good luck with that."

Sorien glanced at him one last time. "Take care of your territory."

Garion gave a relaxed salute. "Always."

The array beneath Sorien began to glow.

"I wish you the best, Garion," he said calmly.

Dahlia gave a small nod as well. "See you again, Sir Sorien."

A moment later, the light flashed.

Sorien disappeared from the ridge.
