"Bro, you are making me dizzy! Can you stop doing that?" Lanny complained as she watched her brother.

Vladimir kept pacing back and forth while clenching his fists. He just heard from Lanny that Athena revealed the truth, and Aaron had met Dominique earlier.

"Leave me alone, Lanny! I’m not in the mood!" Vladimir snarled at her.

He felt threatened and bothered by the fact that Athena had already acknowledged Dominique as Aaron’s biological father. She even allowed them to meet.

"Are you sulking just because of Aaron meeting his Dad?" Lanny shrugged her shoulders. "You don’t have to worry about that. Athena is going to marry you!"

Vladimir paused on his track and picked up his car keys from his pocket.

"I trust Athena. But I don’t know why I’m having a bad feeling about this. I won’t let that bastard steal her away from me!" he declared with determination.

Without further ado, Vladimir stormed out of their apartment, heading to Athena’s penthouse.

Lanny could only sigh helplessly as she watched her brother’s retreating figure.

After thirty minutes, Vladimir reached Athena’s penthouse. They had just finished eating dinner when he rang the doorbell.

Enzo opened the door for him.

"Bro, it’s late. Have you eaten dinner?" Enzo asked him before stepping to the side, inviting him in.

"Yes, Bro. I’m done. I’m here to see your sister and talk to her."

"Oh, come in. She is just washing the dishes together with Aaron."

Enzo didn’t waste his time. He immediately informed Athena about Vladimir’s arrival. He took her turn in washing the dishes so that Athena would be free to go to Vladimir and have a chat with him.

Vladimir sat down in the living room as he waited for Athena.

A few seconds later, Athena came out of the kitchen. His eyes sparkled in delight upon seeing her.

He stood up right away and approached her. He gave her a quick hug and a peck on her forehead.

Athena could only giggle at his sweet gestures.

"What brings you here at this hour? Did you forget something?" Athena asked him teasingly.

Vladimir held her waist as he gazed at her. "Yes. It’s you! I forgot to bring you home with me."

He leaned down, resting his forehead on hers. He had been trying to restrain himself from kissing her right now.

Meanwhile, another soft giggle bubbled up in the living room. Athena gently pinched Vladimir’s cheeks.

"You can sleep here tonight if you want to. You are always welcome here in our home."

Her words were enough to lighten Vladimir’s mood. He had already forgotten his troubles caused by Dominique.

"I would love that! Can I stay in your room?" He asked her expectantly.

Athena smiled again and nodded. "Yes, of course, unless you want to share a room with my brother. He is staying in the guest room."

"Hmm. No. I want to be with you!" He promptly rejected the thought.

Athena could only giggle at his response. "Alright. I’m gonna fix my room and prepare new sheets."

Vladimir couldn’t hide the excitement in his eyes. She really knew how to make him feel better.

"No need for that. I prefer to sleep with your current bedding. Your scent still lingers there."

Athena punched his shoulders and said, "Naughty guy!"

"Cough! Cough!" Aaron interrupted the two as he suddenly showed up from behind. "Mom, I’m sleeping with you tonight. Have you forgotten?"

The young boy pursed his lips as though he was upset.

But Athena quickly pulled Aaron, ruffling his hair. "Oh, son. I’ve never forgotten about it. It’s just that your Uncle V is going to have a sleepover tonight. The three of us can share a room."

"Okay, Mom!" Aaron smiled meaningfully. He had just succeeded in his mission of being his mother’s bodyguard.

When he heard about Vladimir sleeping in his mother’s room, the first person that came to his mind was his father, Dominique. He was aware that his father wouldn’t be happy when his mother and Uncle Vladimir would sleep in one room alone. He had to be there at all costs.

On the other hand, a look of dismay could be seen on Vladimir’s face when he heard Athena’s last remarks. He was a little bit disappointed. He thought he could be with her alone. Who would have thought that Aaron would be joining them tonight?

"Let’s go upstairs?" Athena grabbed the hands of both men.

Vladimir had no choice but to conceal his disappointment. He just followed the mother and son duo.

Upon reaching her room, Aaron quickly took a shower while Vladimir and Athena prepared the bed. He grabbed this chance to talk with her.

"Athena..." he gently called out, catching her attention.

She turned in his direction. "Yes, V?"

"There is something I want to consult with you," Vladimir said, hesitating for a moment.

Athena just nodded, waiting for him to continue.

"It’s about our wedding. If you would allow me... I want to register our marriage first thing in the morning. Will you allow me to do that?"

Athena was taken aback for a moment. She didn’t expect to hear that sudden request from Vladimir. Her mind had been occupied by Dominique lately, so she hadn’t thought about their marriage yet.

However, seeing the pleading look in Vladimir’s eyes, she didn’t have the heart to refuse him. She somehow knew the reason for this.

’Maybe... he started worrying about us... just because I revealed the truth about Aaron’s biological father. Does he feel pressured because of what I did?’

Athena felt a little bit guilty for not consulting Vladimir first before making that decision. So to compensate him, she felt the need to comply with his request.

"I’m fine with it. We can register our marriage first before doing our wedding ceremony."

Vladimir’s face brightened up when he heard that. He felt overjoyed as Athena was willing to register their marriage!

Unable to control his emotions, he pulled her into a tight hug, thanking her.

"I’m so happy, Athena. Thank you for agreeing to my request. You just made me the happiest man on earth right now!"

Athena smiled faintly while hugging him. She owed him a lot, so she was glad to make him feel happy.

"Since we are going to do that, I think this is the right time to assume my real identity as Sabrina Williams. After all, Athena Ivankov is just my fake identity."

Vladimir broke the hug as he cupped her face. "It doesn’t matter to me, as long as I can marry you. I don’t care if you will be Sabrina or Athena. All I know is that you are the woman I love... the only woman whom I want to spend my life with... for eternity."

"Thank you, V... for loving me this much. From now on... I’m back to being Sabrina Williams... this is the real me... but the new Sabrina. I will have a fresh start with you and my family."

Vladimir’s heart was so overwhelmed by this joyful moment. He began lowering his head to capture her lips. He just wanted to kiss her passionately.

However, before his lips touched hers, the door of the bathroom was pushed open, revealing Aaron’s figure.

"Mom! I’m done! You can take a shower now!" His loud voice interrupted the two from kissing each other.
