His soul-Chapter 561: About Patricia
While Massimo was busy in the kitchen, his cell phone which was near Gina kept ringing. Dozens of messages sent by Patricia and her father Mr. Brandon dominated the messages and Gina who was near the cell phone just smiled a little, even though she knew Massimo’s cell phone password but Gina still chose not to open it. Gina knows the boundaries she has to keep, even though Massimo is her husband but Gina chooses not to look at her husband’s cell phone without his permission. What Gina is doing right now is reading a special magazine for caring for babies given by doctor Olivia, for Gina the magazine is still far more interesting than Massimo’s cell phone that keeps ringing.
Ten minutes passed, Massimo returned to where Gina was sitting with a tray containing a plate of very fragrant spaghetti aglio olio. The aroma of beef bacon which became the topping was very appetizing and Gina, who was reading her magazine, immediately looked at Massimo with teary eyes, moved to see Massimo bring the spaghetti he ordered.
"Enjoy it, madam," said Massimo gently.
"You really cook yourself?" Gina asked in disbelief, even though she had previously seen that Massimo was busy in the kitchen, but Gina again confirmed to the man.
Massimo smiled amusedly. "Is this apron still attached to my body not convincing enough?"
"It’s not like that, it’s just that I..."
"Ask later, now eat while it’s still warm. When it’s cold, the taste will decrease, dear," said Massimo softly cutting Gina’s words.
Gina, who was already hungry again, then grabbed the fork that Massimo had prepared earlier, Gina’s eyes immediately opened wide when Massimo’s homemade spaghetti entered her mouth.
"Nice?" asked Massimo quietly.
Gina nodded quickly. "This is delicious."
Massimo chuckled. "Then finish it, if you’re still hungry I’ll get it back from the kitchen."
"Is it still there?" asked Gina with her mouth full of spaghetti.
"There’s still one more portion." 𝘧𝘳𝘦ℯ𝓌𝘦𝒷𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝓁.𝒸𝘰𝓂
"Then why don’t you eat?" asked Gina again.
"I cooked it especially for you, so there’s no way I could eat it, honey," said Massimo gently. "Now you eat."
Gina nodded, without speaking Gina again fed the spaghetti into her mouth. Massimo, who realized that Gina’s appetite had changed, couldn’t help but smile a little, he knew Gina wouldn’t have eaten this much if she wasn’t pregnant. That’s why he didn’t rebuke Gina’s slightly impolite way of eating, not wanting to lose the moment, Massimo then grabbed his cell phone to record Gina eating voraciously. However, Massimo’s intention to take Gina’s video was stopped when he saw dozens of messages sent by Patricia, his face immediately changed when he read the top message that Patricia sent.
"Is there any problem?" asked Gina suddenly, surprising Massimo who was annoyed at Patricia for being too bold.
Massimo immediately changed his facial expression. "It’s nothing, honey."
Gina nodded slowly. "Are you reading a message? Your cell phone has been vibrating ever since, it looks like there are a lot of messages coming in, huh?"
"Yeah, there’s been a lot of messages coming in," Massimo answered honestly, his eyebrows raised. "Don’t you know my cell phone password, honey? Why don’t you check it when my phone keeps vibrating?"
Gina smiled, she slowly grabbed a glass of water and drank it. Gina gracefully wiped her lips from the remaining water and turned to look at Massimo with a smile that continued to creep on her face. "Why would I see it? After all, if it comes from one of your mistresses, then you know what the consequences will be, don’t you?"
Massimo’s face immediately tensed. "I have no mistress!"
"Who accused you of cheating?" Gina asked softly without guilt.
"You..."
"What I meant earlier was, I trust you one hundred percent. That’s why I didn’t check your vibrating cell phone, after all I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t be able to play with my trust, right?"
Massimo didn’t answer Gina’s question, he still felt a little annoyed by Gina’s earlier words. Even though Gina had already given an explanation, Massimo was still not calm.
"Why don’t you answer?" Gina asked again with a smile.
"I really don’t cheat, honey," Massimo said hoarsely. "I won’t betray you, I really..."
"Shhh..who accused you of cheating on me? Please digest my sentences carefully." Gina cut off Massimo’s words gently.
Massimo’s eyes filled with tears. "I just love you, Gina."
"I know."
"Please don’t talk like that again, I beg you. I wasn’t prepared to hear such words come out of your lips, it really hurts."
One of Gina’s eyebrows rose. "It hurts, your heart hurts?"
Massimo nodded quickly.
"Just imagine being me, how many times have you accused me of having a special relationship with Lucas in the past? Can you guess how hurt I was at that time?"
Massimo’s whole body tensed up as Gina brought up his mistake again.
"Sorry," Massimo said hoarsely. "At that time I was really blinded by a very big jealousy."
Gina smiled. "I know, that’s why I’m not angry."
"Honey...
"Let’s not talk about it anymore, it’s all over," said Gina softly, ending Massimo’s immense guilt.
Massimo, who was being carried away by feelings, grabbed Gina’s body and hugged her tightly, Massimo repeatedly landed a kiss on Gina’s forehead. with love. "I really really love you, baby. Please forgive all the mistakes and stupidity that I’ve done before." Massimo apologized for the umpteenth time without letting go of his arms from Gina’s body.
I’ve forgiven you, so don’t apologize again."
Massimo released his arms from Gina. "I want to tell you something."
"Tell me what?"
After taking a deep breath Massimo then told about Patricia to Gina, carefully Massimo explained who Mr. Brandon was.also apologized to Gina for not telling her about Patricia’s arrival since this morning, arguing that he didn’t want to surprise Gina when he heard the news of the arrival of a young girl who had been looking for him all the way from Los Angeles.
Gina smiling, she was happy that Massimo involved Selena and Rosa to take care of the problems that came this morning. Gina was happy that her efforts to bring Massimo closer to her family were successful, even though it took some time.
"So right now my business partner’s daughter is at the hotel owned by the Sanders family escorted by Rosa and Selena, and until this moment she doesn’t know that Selena and Rosa are the daughters of the hotel owner she is staying at. Patricia doesn’t even know if I’m going to be a father," Massimo said quietly, ending his story.
"She doesn’t know?"
"Yeah, during the two months living in Los Angeles I really only focused on work. I didn’t discuss my personal life at all, that’s why Mr. Brandon didn’t know that I was married and it seems his daughter who just graduated from medical school didn’t know either. "
"You really only focused on work while living in Los Angeles?" Gina repeated Massimo’s statement again in an accusatory tone.
"For God’s sake I’m just busy with my work, honey," Massimo answered in a deep voice, sounding so frustrated. "And I also went to Russia for two weeks, but that was also on business. I didn’t touch any women at all."
Gina took a deep breath without changing her facial expression. "So how many times have you met this girl named Patricia?"
"One time, I didn’t even know Mr. Brandon was bringing his daughter with me at the time. For God’s sake I’m not lying, I’m being completely honest, honey."
Gina chuckled. "I’m just asking, don’t panic like that. The more you panic the more I suspect you."
"My love..."
"Okay then, so basically the girl named Patricia who is the daughter of your business partner will come to our house tonight to have dinner with us, right?"
"Yeah, I was planning to introduce you two to her in person tonight," Massimo replied quickly.
"You two?" Gina tilted her head in confusion.
Massimo smiled, his hand slowly caressing Gina’s belly gently. "Yes, both of you. Patricia should know that by now I have become the husband of a very beautiful woman and will soon become the father of a child who is smart, intelligent, kind, handsome and also rich."
"Massimo," warned Gina growling. "Don’t teach your son anything bad, I don’t want him to be arrogant? He must be a child who has a high social spirit, not arrogant like his father."
"I’m not arrogant, everything I say is a fact. My wealth will not run out for our seven descendants so..."
"Yes.. yes Mr. rich, now it’s better not to talk about wealth anymore, okay. Better now help me choose the menu to have dinner with that special guest who has come all the way from Los Angeles to see you."
"Honey..."
Gina burst out laughing. "Am I right? Was there something wrong with what I said? Nothing, right?"
Massimo narrowed his eyes, glaring at Gina with an expression of holding back annoyance. And Massimo’s current expression made Gina’s laugh even louder, there wasn’t the slightest bit of anger in Gina right now, even though she knew that a girl was trying to get close to her husband. Gina’s trust in Massimo was too great, just like before.
