His soul-Chapter 595: Protect Gina and Regis
Gina’s life is really almost perfect when her two sisters prefer to live with their father, even though they come from different wombs, but Gina always hopes to live happily with her younger siblings. And all of Gina’s simple dreams were almost flawless before the bloody box terror finally came, the stepmother who was thought to have died in a car accident was still alive and was terrorizing her. All Gina can do now is to continue to follow her husband’s instructions, Gina who once disobeyed Massimo’s orders is now so obedient. Having Regis made Gina think twice about going her own way. Gina didn’t want to sacrifice Regis for her stupidity, it was enough that Gina almost lost Regis, after the stupidity she did for meeting Lucas secretly behind Massimo.
After being busy in the kitchen for almost an hour finally the food was almost ready, they just had to wait for the guests to arrive. Even though the guests were her own family, Gina still provided the best meal.
"Good night." Rosa’s voice was heard filling the first floor.
Gina, who was checking the stock of wine, immediately came out of the minibar and approached Rosa who was sitting on the sofa with her head tilted upwards.
"You’re not coming home early, Rosa?" asked Gina in surprise.
Rosa slowly turned to Gina. "As long as there is Thomas in the hospital then I will never get a shift like that, Gina."
Gina frowned. "Thomas, what does that have to do with Thomas?"
"As soon as he knew that I would have two shifts on duty, Thomas immediately contacted one of the senior doctors to replace my duty tonight, Gina. So, as you can see, I can go home," answered Rosa a little lazily. "And tonight I’m very ready to return to the vigil."
Gina smiled. "Anything in excess is not good, Rosa. Just like you did, I know being a doctor is a calling and not everyone has it. But you have to remember that you also have a body that you need to take care of, especially if you are. You still have a chance to rest so I think that what Thomas did was wise. You’re still a young doctor after all, it doesn’t feel right for you to have to stand guard twice a day when there are still many other doctors who can take your place."
Surprisingly, Rosa suddenly got up from the sofa. "You’re just like Martin and Thomas, Gina."
After saying that Rosa then went into her room leaving Gina looking confused, Gina didn’t understand where the conversation was going. Rosa was still silent in her last place talking to Rosa until finally Martin came and explained what made Rosa say like that. Gina continued to smile as Martin explained why Rosa was angry.
"It seems my sister has a crush on you, Martin," Gina said quietly.
Martin’s face went as pale as paper. "W..what do you mean, madam?"
Gina smiled. "Usually a girl in love will act like Rosa, so you have to be patient, okay?"
Martin, who was still so surprised to hear Gina’s words, could only stay silent and didn’t give any answer, until finally Gina resumed her activities at the dining table. Martin was still standing where he was. Martin just woke up from his daydream after hearing his cell phone ringing, an incoming call from Massimo asking him to go up to the second floor immediately made Martin go back to being himself.
From the dining table Gina just smiled a little while shaking her head, she knew that at this moment Martin was also in love with Rosa. Remembering Rosa and Martin’s shy attitude makes us remember how complicated their romance with Massimo was, because at that time she didn’t realize that she had fallen in love with Massimo. The first love that eventually became the last love of his life.
"I hope you and Martin really get married, Rosa."

As Massimo and Julian took turns talking, Selena and Rosa didn’t open their lips at all. Both were so shocked when they were told the possibility that the mother was still alive.
At first Selena and Rosa seemed happy to hear the news, but after Massimo said that the brain behind the terror that came to Gina a few days ago was their mother, suddenly both of their smiles immediately disappeared.
"Although there is no clear evidence yet, I believe that the person responsible for the terror is Vanessa," Massimo said quietly, ending his explanation with a serious look at Selena and Rosa.
"Are the results found by the police justified?" Selena asked suddenly.
Massimo nodded. "Yes, four different forensic doctors have examined the bones, Selena. And the results are the same, none of the DNA matches Vanessa."
"If Mommy is still alive then why doesn’t Mommy come home?" said Rosa hoarsely unconsciously.
"Because your mother still has a grudge against us, Rosa," answered Julian quickly. "Your mother blamed Daddy for Diego’s death."
"Blaming Daddy? How do you know? Has Mommy ever spoken to Daddy like that?" Selena asked over and over again, hearing her mother being accused which made Selena a little angry.
Massimo adjusted his seat. "All the cursing your mother said back then is still vivid in my head, Selena."
Selena shook her head, she couldn’t believe what Massimo said.
"Your mother blamed both of us for Diego’s death, even though it was clear that what happened to Diego was her fault. Her biggest mistake was making Diego a puppet to carry out her plans," added Massimo again. "Haven’t you two been completely ignored in the past, have you?"
Selena looked down instantly, reminded again of what her mother had done to her and Rosa for years made Selena unable to speak.
"And now, she’s back for revenge. It’s not just me and Daddy, her targets are Gina and Regis." Massimo spoke again in a hoarse voice.
"Why Gina and Regis?" asked Rosa, confused.
"Because from the start your mother had claimed Gina as the source of her misfortune and because Gina already had Regis she wanted to take revenge on her and make her feel what she felt when she lost her child." Julian replaced Massimo in answering Rosa’s question.
Hearing her father’s words, Rosa immediately gripped Gina’s hands tightly, as well as Selena who immediately wrapped her arms around Gina’s body.
"That’s why we both agreed to share this matter with you, as someone who knows Vanessa so well I’m sure right now she must be devising a cruel new plan. And I feel that both of you will definitely be involved in that plan, that’s why I tell the two of you everything so that you both can be on guard if at any time you are visited by Vanessa. We will never know what will happen in the future, therefore I want you to be on guard against all the worst possibilities," said Massimo hoarsely. "I really don’t want to be violent on your mother, but if she targets my wife and children then I won’t stay silent."
Rosa tightened her grip on Gina. "Don’t worry Massimo, I won’t allow us to hurt Gina and Regis. Even though she’s our mother, I won’t defend her if she makes a mistake, you don’t have to worry."
"What Rosa said is true, even though we are both her biological daughters. But if Mommy does something bad, we certainly will not stay silent, we are no longer children who always submit to her threats," added Selena quickly. "We will protect Gina and Regis as best we can."
Gina immediately hugged her two sisters tightly at the same time. "Thank you Rosa, thank you Selena."
Rosa and Selena then returned Gina’s hug sincerely, the two girls had really changed at this time. All Vanessa’s bad influences have completely disappeared from Rosa and Selena, but even so Massimo still feels the need to be on guard. Because basically blood relations are still thicker than water.

After everyone returned to their respective rooms, Rosa walked to the park to calm down. Rosa still can’t believe that her mother is the mastermind behind the bloody terror that occurred a few weeks ago.
"Wine."
Rosa immediately turned to the right where Martin was currently taking out a glass of wine to him.
"I’m not in the mood to get drunk," said Rosa politely.
Martin smiled. "Drinking one glass won’t make you drunk, Rosa. Besides, in this cold air, wine seems to be the right choice, unless I want to be cold and..."
Martin’s words stopped when suddenly Rosa grabbed the wine glass from his hand.
"Thank you." Martin continued speaking a little sarcastically.
Rosa just smiled a little when she heard Martin’s sarcasm.
"What’s bothering you that you didn’t sleep last night?" asked Martin to break the silence.
Rose smiled. "I’m not thinking about anything."
"Is that true?"
"Yes."
Martin pursed his lips. "Between going to college or thinking about your living mother?"
Being asked such a question made Rosa turn to Martin quickly.
"Don’t be mad, I’m just asking," Martin said with his hands held high in the air.
Rosa took a deep breath, because the wine she was holding had run out, Rosa then grabbed Martin’s glass and immediately drank all.
"I’m sad Martin."
"Sad?"
Rose nodded. "Yeah, since we were little, Selena and I have always been numbered by Mommy. All of Mommy’s attention and love really only went to Diego, lucky at that time there were Grandma and Grandpa who loved us both. If not, Selena and I will grow up to be a child who has never felt affection."
"It’s all over, Rosa. You and Selena are now great women."
"What a great woman? I haven’t made Daddy proud, I’m still like this."
"Not everyone can be a doctor, Rosa. And you’re great at getting the job," Martin said quietly, encouraging Rosa. "And not everyone has to have a tangible accomplishment to make their parents proud."
Rose chuckled. "You don’t know Martin, when I was little....whatever I got from school was never appreciated by Mommy. The award I got from school was not considered by Mommy, what Mommy told me at that time was that I should be able to marry a rich person, who has a high position. Mommy also said the same thing to Selena, but because at that time I was more daring to refuse, finally Mommy focused more on Selena, trying to set her up with one of her best friend’s children. Until finally Gina came and all the fun stories finally happened at our house. "
Martin didn’t respond to Rosa’s words, he wanted to give Rosa a chance to let her out.
"And to this day I still can’t believe that Mommy has committed so many crimes that left Grandma and Grandpa and Diego dead. They are victims of Mommy’s selfishness and this time I won’t let Mommy go after Gina and Regis."
