His soul-Chapter 606: Gina’s big dream

Selena’s heart almost fell out of her chest cavity when she saw Lucas actually appeared in her brother-in-law’s yard, Lucas’ smile that was so warm that it made Selena even more confused. She didn’t know what to do, Selena didn’t have the courage to push the man away from her. But on the other hand, Selena is afraid that Lucas’ arrival this time will make Gina and Massimo’s relationship break again, repeatedly being the cause of Gina and Massimo’s quarrels, making Lucas a person whose presence Massimo really doesn’t want and Selena knows that well.

"Morning." Lucas returned to greet Selena who was frozen in front of him.

"Y..you really came."

Lucas pursed his lips. "Didn’t we agree last night, did we?"

Massimo’s voice sounded loud from behind Selena, hearing the voice of his brother-in-law made Selena immediately turn her body towards the door where Massimo was currently standing holding Regis in front of the door.

"Come on in, what are you waiting for? Aren’t you hungry?"

"Of course I’m hungry," Lucas answered quickly, the next second Lucas stepped into the door where Massimo was waiting for him. When crossing Selena who looked so shocked Lucas rolled one eye, teasing Selena.

Selena, who still didn’t understand what was happening, looked so confused when she saw Lucas directly talking to Massimo who looked like he was waiting for him, Selena was still standing where she was a few minutes after Lucas entered the house. She had just stepped in when she heard Gina’s voice calling her to join the dining table. Gina, who didn’t know that Selena was awake and standing in the front yard, called Selena several times to get out of the room.

Not wanting to make her sister continue to scream, Selena immediately entered the house and went straight to the dining table where everyone was already seated. Selena was frozen again for a moment when she saw Lucas and Massimo’s closeness, what Selena saw right now was the exact opposite of the image in her head.

"Come on, sit down, Serena." Gina again asked Selena to sit down. "Sit next to Lucas."

"Next to Lucas?"

Gina nodded quickly. "Yeah, why? Is there a problem?"

"N-no, of course not," Selena stuttered.

"Yes, let’s sit down."

Having no other choice, Selena landed her butt on the chair next to Lucas. Martin who was sitting beside Gina lowered her head slowly, holding back a smile so that Selena wouldn’t be bothered by it, but what Martin did was too late because Selena could clearly see that he was smiling.

Since everyone was seated, Daisy ordered the other servants to start serving the food. In no time, Massimo’s plate and everyone else who had been seated around the dining table filled with food. Even on the dining table, Regis, who was sitting between Massimo and Gina, was already filled with food, special food made for him as a companion to breast milk which Gina still gave him regularly.

Massimo then invited everyone to eat, Lucas who was sitting right next to Massimo being the first person to directly touch his fork. Seeing Lucas who wasn’t nervous being beside Massimo made Selena even more confused, even though in the past Massimo and Lucas were like two different sides of a coin. The two of them almost got into a fight every time they saw each other, but now that wasn’t the case. Lucas and Massimo actually looked like two friends who hadn’t seen each other in a long time.

"I hope you’ll come to my house often, Luke," Massimo said quietly in between his time slicing meat with his very sharp knife.

Lucas wiped his lips with a handkerchief. "I also have work to attend to in this city, there’s no way I can come often. Especially like this morning."

"Why can’t you? You don’t do your work during the day, do you?" Gina immediately responded to Lucas’ words without any fear

. "I just started a new business, Gina. That’s why I can’t leave my job often," Lucas answered honestly.

"Starting a new business?"

"Since Giovana’s death that time I decided to leave the world that I have been involved in for almost half my life, I decided to leave that illicit business and start living with a new business that has been running for almost the last four years." Lucas went back to explaining what he had been doing in the last few years after leaving the drug dealing business that had made him so rich.

Massimo rested his hand on Lucas’s shoulder suddenly. "Don’t worry, whenever you need help I’m ready to help. Shouldn’t our fellow families help each other and also..."

Selena who was drinking water suddenly coughed when she heard Massimo’s words, Lucas who was closest to Selena then gave her a broom a hand that Selena quickly accepted.

From where she sat, Gina smiled slightly seeing what Lucas and Selena were doing. Gina also moved her feet, touching Massimo’s feet who also seemed to be enjoying the adorable show in front of him. Massimo, who had been told by Gina that last night Selena and Lucas had been on the phone for a long time this morning, deliberately asked the maids to prepare more food than usual, Massimo was also seen welcoming Lucas at the door so as not to make Selena nervous.

Selena’s suffering was finally over when the breakfast session was over, Massimo, who looked so curious about Lucas’ new business, immediately asked him to have a serious talk in his office with Martin who immediately followed them from behind.

"Lucas looks younger, doesn’t he," Gina whispered softly teasing Selena who was rearranging her appearance in front of the mirror after previously wetting her clothes with drinking water.

Selena who had just wiped her lips with lip gloss immediately turned to Gina quickly. "Looks younger than what? Lucas is still the same as I remember him."

"Oh yeah? What does Lucas look like in your memory, Selena?"

Selena’s cheeks immediately turned red, the question Gina gave made her steps die. She couldn’t move because of her own words. Damn it!

Seeing Selena who looked confused and nervous, Gina couldn’t bear it, Gina slowly got up from the bed and walked over to Selena who was sitting in front of the dressing table. Gina slowly landed her hands on Selena’s shoulders gently.

"I support you, honey. If you feel Lucas is good, then go ahead and follow your heart," Gina said softly as she continued to smile at Selena through the large glass in front of them.

"I know that you still have the same feelings for Lucas. I support you if you want to return to him." Gina interrupted Selena quickly. "It seems Lucas also has the same feelings as you, I can read it all so clearly from his eyes."

Selena, who is not good at hiding her feelings, immediately hugged Gina tightly, Gina, who was happy because her sister had found her love, returned the hug. Her dream to see her two sisters happy will soon come true.
