His Witch Queen-Chapter 132: BackStab me!

Crown prince Cyrus stepped inside the castle where he looked at the inside of the palace.

From inside, he could see that it hasn’t been used for ages. Half of it was almost destroyed. Moreover, in the remaining area, there were webs of spiders, dust, and what not...

As the darkness filled the area, Cyrus’s soldiers lit the palace with their fire rods. It was easy for them to see the area around while they all were standing inside the giant hall.

Cyrus decided to go and rest in one chamber that his soldier told him. It was a bit above, climbing up the perfect stairs, he came to see a large chamber, where there was a solid stone bed.

Even though the place was exposed to the hard, and with no other amenities available, Cyrus did not take risks anymore.

He simply walked close to the other bed and laid Princess Alice peacefully there.

As his eyes line arced on her, he can’t help but feel a sigh escaping from his mouth. ’It was a tough choice to bring you here without you knowing even after..’ he doesn’t know how she will react to the entire situation.

Moreover, her sudden learning that her father’s life is in danger might erupt her anger. She might urge him to go back to King Almen’s palace and kill him right now, which he can’t afford.

’Will she get angry when she knows that I’m not the King’s child?’ He had no clue and it pained his heart too.

Deeply, Cyrus tried his best to maintain composure but it got very hard.

Yet for the time being, Cyrus had to let her go and let himself back on his toes. She was resting on the hard stone place with her eyes shut tightly.

For sure she is in sleep, and he doesn’t even bet that his magic will wave off so easily.

Straightaway, his eyes went to have a look at her lips which were slightly moving but again, they were all red as usual.

Gulping the saliva present in his mouth, Cyrus finally let his mind not wander around, and finally, he was ready to turn around and walk out.

As his feet took the step towards the chamber, he suddenly felt the movement.

Looking above his shoulder, he saw Alice aching her hand back and yawning again, "Hmm.....Wh-why..so...hard.."

The sudden mumble made Cyrus freeze on spot.

His heart jumped in his ribcage, her eyes can’t help but feel his mind go numb at the sudden thought. Turning around, he once again faced her to find how steadily she was regaining her consciousness.

’How is that possible? My magic doesn’t wave off on any human or vampire for days!’ he had least expected her to be asleep for a few more days until he would reach the Ontex Empire.

Seems like he was bad at his theory since the sight he can access right now was totally different. Alice was now awake, and he was ready to face the questions which were waiting for him from her side.

On the other hand, Alice’s half sleepy eyes gazed at what was on her. Above her, she saw the large ceilings.

However, those solid ceilings the one appear very different from what she actually eyes each morning. ’Why.’

The sudden differentiation struck her mind badly. At a rapid rate, Alice reopened her eyes, and this time, she was more than shocked. Looking at their surroundings, she saw that she was in her castle...

"W-where the hell am I.." her eyes were stuck on the left side to see that the place was covered in darkness.

There was no further wood unlike she has in her own chamber. Moreover, there was no other gate.

Subconsciously, her hand felt the hardness beneath herself to find that she slept not on any bed but on the stone-type made bed. "W-what is...Cyrus!"

"Shh...Alice..."

For a minute, Alice had instantly blurted his name out of anxiety, only to again get happy. It made her rotate her head again in the right direction, signaling him standing at the right spot.

Even though there was darkness, his facial expressions gave clear hints that whatever that she made out in her brain was correct.

"Where the hell are we?!’’ This was the first question she asked. "Why are we not in our castle? This- this..isn’t our chamber.."

"We aren’t in the Gazelle Kingdom either, if you are thinking," Cyrus answered, with limited information.

For a minute, Alice took a deep breath out of nerves.

She had sat on the bed with her widened eyes, still hard to digest what he had just told her tight. "So, we aren’t in the Gazelle Kingdom. Then where are we? Are we in somewhere?"

"In the north of the gazelle kingdom, Ths is an empty castle where we will reside at night."

"But why?" Alice’s brows curved into a frown, a complicated look plastering her face. She was delayed, unable to comprehend what was at least happening around her.

Cyrus walked closer and sat near her, "Listen, Alice, I know that you’re not able to understand saying. But trust me, it is the best I have done for now. We have run away from our Kingdom."

"Ran away?"

Cyrus gave her a solid nod which shattered her heart into a hundred pieces.

"Why did we run away?"

To this, Cyrus took a deep breath, "because that was for the best. I will tell you everything. But please..don’t’ freak out and react in any irrelevant manner."

At this point, Alice stared at him with her mixed eyes. She was suspicious of him, at how he was reacting to her. What can be worse? As if, something giant was going to happen to her head?

He started to give millions of answers, and that was what Cyrus was fearful of. But on the second note, he managed to tame his inner desires to give her the details of other minute things he needed too.

With slow and steady speed, everything seemed to make sense to Alice. She kept on changing the expressions, from the shocked to fizzlefury, to scared, anger and whatnot turned out to be there on her face.

But what took Cyrus aback was the calm she kept throughout. He didn’t miss the details of how his father planned to use her to his advantage to get her father and acquire the entire Kingdom.

Moreover, the fact that he wasn’t his father’s or the king’s kin.

He blurted everything, even with8 the slight hesitation that mattered along with each speech.

However, he managed to get his truth in front of her now. After all, she will be there with me on the journey to discover this and stop his father from attacking her father and Kingdom...

In the end, when Alice had heard everything, she lowered her head. A few strings of her silver hair fell on her face which covered a bit of her facial expression on the left eye.

But that didn’t shed away the emotional turmoil that crossed her heart. "So, you are saying that..your father is interested in killing my father?"

"Yes. he wants to use this alliance to his advantage...and.."

"and he’ll only label that we both are killed on our own and he will hide his own name behind." Alice completed the sentence as per what she understood.

In return, Cyrus passed her a nod, "His wish is to get King Vilas away from your Kingdom and get his hands on the land which he has been a dream to see. So you can understand...how it actually lies with him."

Hearing this, Alice’s lips turned straight, "But.... Why does he wish it would kill you? You are not his kin..but at least..something? As per what general Ryan told you.."

"That is what we will have to figure out and that’s why we are going to the Ontex Empire.."

The words took her back. The fact that they will have to travel to the Ontex Empire, meet someone, and then go back to her own empire started in her mind.

"If..we..get..late..my father.."

"Your father will receive the letter from King Almen as the stranger that someone has kidnapped his daughter from the Almen’s empire. He is using you as bait to lure your father." Cyrus gave her another justification.

But it wasn’t a way to devour all the information. Under the deep night, she can’t believe that she woke up in any other place, and now..they are already out of their Kingdom.

Moreover, the shocking reveal to her face was the vampire she married..wasn’t Royal? Or wait! There is another tale lying underneath this?

Learning the sour expressions of Alice, Cyrus coughed a bit, "Alice...I know that you are shocked. You married a Royal and I turned out to be no one....Literally no one.."

"Maybe you’re thinking about whom you are stuck with. I have no title, you are Princess of S-"

"I will always stand by your side, Prince Cyrus. Unless you decide to backstab me."
