His Witch Queen-Chapter 145: Be my woman!

At this stage, there were bewilderment expressions that took everyone passerby. It plastered their face like any other ghost that haunted them right now and there. It ripped their hearts, yet it wasn’t any dissatisfaction that rose in their mind.

The first person who drew out of this daze was Alice since she couldn’t help but mumble through her skin lips, "Do you mean to say that....Cyrus..is..."

"Cyrus is that child. Yes, he has special powers." rotating his head in Cyrus’s direction, the old man asked him, "You must be feeling some powers inside you for years isn’t it so?"

In return, Cyrus passed him an undoubted nod. He was still in disbelief to believe these words.

Yes, he has powers and it was hardly known to many people. Yet the tale told by the old man was nevertheless taking him back. It ruled his mind and left them shattered.

The fact that he wasn’t born now a time but centuries before, how was he able to live now? How can he sustain till now? And the fact that laid into him, this old man knew each situation like a piece of his mind.

In fact, his narration appeared to be so beautiful, as if he had witnessed each other detail with his own two eyes that kept the memory last for so long.

The old man read Cyrus’s expression when he gathered together to move his eye back on the wrinkled book. There, he saw the beautiful portraits, something written in a language that was hardly read by any of them. "You are shocked. I understand."

"But the worst is yet to come." The old man’s words once again shattered their hearts. It took a lot of patience and courage to gather when they all realized that the man’s tale wasn’t inside till now.

While he felt that his mind was all blank, and there was no more space to absorb the truth, Alice brought her hand near his thigh to press it. Her eyes were filled with a tinge of tears. The redness soaked her eyeball perfectly.

But she maintained herself to the core to finally sigh, "Please tell us..."

"Lady Lucy was in jail, along with Prince Derek. While Prince Derek had so many wounds on his body from the war, it was hard to survive anymore. But he saw you, Cyrus. Derek saw his own child with his two eyes. And I can never forget that sigh and happiness just landed in his eyes."

"How come you know about this?" Cyrus bluntly asked, but the old man asked him to patiently wait to let him continue with the story.

He explained that he doesn’t wish to break the tale. Otherwise, it will confuse them and break their hearts which were on the brink of getting tainted with the mud.

Neither did Alice or any other soldier ask him to do anymore.

They all kept their ears logged at his every word, "All I can say is that I was in the same jail with them. It was all the big jail where Prince Almen kept us."

"Lady Lucy’s body condition wasn’t good. She was worse because of the blood loss. Along with that, you were born strong. Something which came inside you because of the mixture had made her weak. A normal vampire like her wasn’t able to sustain giving the right to such a strong creature."

"However, you were just a miracle that came to the earth at that time. Her condition improved the moment she laid her eyes on you. Even everyone present in the jail felt their confidence regained best as they realized that, there is at least someone in this era who can defeat prince Almen...at least at some time in his life."

"But....things don’t go as planned.’’ At the sudden wordings, the old man’s words turned slower with time.

There was a change in expressions, eyes, and everything. In fact, they noticed his long face which contained thousands of unsaid questions.

However, what the man next told also got their eyes to bulge out, "We all thought that General Ryan had died along with others. He was the most trusted general of no one else but one and only, Prince Derek. SOMEONE who was by his side at the time, he went to win a war...he was always by his side to assist everyone."

"But two days after your birth, Prince Almen made his way into the dungeons along with general Ryan by his side. This was the most disheartening moment to say, enough to make all of us understand that the reason we all lost was that...General Ryan had shaken hands with Prince Almen..or at least after that, we don’t know. As we knew, General Ryan was at Prince Almen’s side, betraying the real prince, Prince Derek."

At this stage, everyone was haunted by this news. ’So was..General Ryan was Prince Derek’s person?’ It alarmed them and struck everyone’s mind in the single go.

In fact, the one who was the quietest was Cyrus. He was going through the hound of the fights in his own thoughts. There was an internal confrontation and conflict that rose to his brain.

There was proof, and this old man’s words weren’t either any given word. But the one with all the powers stronger than anyone else was Alice. She had kept her chin raised.

Even doing back all the tears, Alice blinked her eyes twice, to sum up, all the energy in this universe to ask the old man, "So...General Ryan is the one who knew everything, but he hid it from us... Isn’t that the real villain?"

"Villain?" hearing this a smirk curved the old man’s pinkish lips, as his eyes narrowed slightly, "He acted out of the circumstances around him. Prince Derek was supposed to die in Prince Almen’s hand and it was evidently known to us. Right Now, you see me is all because of him. The reason I’m able to tell you this tale is all because of him."

"You are praising the wrong person..." Alice muttered under her breath.

"I’m only stating the truth. Hear Me out, so you will know what and why am I stating this." the old man replied to Alice, who gave a nod to let him continue in his talks

He took a deep breath, to roll his eyes. His gaze averted to take a glance at each person that was present in that house. But didn’t pay attention. "Prince Almen knew the powers Cyrus has."

"But he was cunning. He knew what to do with the two-day-old child too well. And the first thing was to separate him from his mother...I still remember General Ryan took you, Cyrus, in his hand to finally let Prince Alice step ahead in the Prince and his wife’s direction."

FLASHBACK!

Prince Derek was currently on the floor. The blood oozed from his mouth but the anger that rose was still not visibly down. Prince Almen’s pleasure to witness this condition of the crowned prince gives him immense pleasure.

"You know what, Derek? I’m so happy to see you like this..." Prince Almen commented when he sat near Prince Derek’s side, who was at his deathbed. Prince Derek had no energy left in him to confront and fight this monster.

While his single glance swept across to see General Ryan holding his child in his embrace, his gaze stayed intact at his betrayed soldier and general.

But then, something conveyed through both of them before prince Derek averted his gaze, "You will suffer, Almen."

"One day, you will lose everything, just like how I lost."

"Bulshit! I will make sure that such a day never comes in the universe." Prince Almen commented with the utmost confidence.

In fact, Lady Lucy who was at the core of the cell had no courage to step ahead near her husband. Her Body’s energy left her soul at the very beginning. It was still hard to recover from giving birth to her child, so her child was snatched from her arms, and wasn’t able to hold him back...

Whereas Prince Almens’ eyes averted to see the lady, with his wicked eyes, "Lady Lucy..you gave birth...Impressed. What name have you kept for him..?"

"C-Cyrus...Cyrus.."

"That’s a very good name, you chose for your little son," Prince commented. "How unfortunate that you both will not get the chance to see him grow."

"Almen...don’t forget..you killed your own family.." Derek’s slow voice made a scoff leave Almen’s mouth, "Doesn’t matter. After all, this is how I live and grow! I will flourish...and even, if it meant the death of family members, let it be!"

"But lady Lucy.." Prince Almen’s dirtiest gaze once again fell on Lucy, who covered herself better with the shawl. "You still have a chance to live."

"If you accept me as yours, I can make you the Que-"

"I will not leave Prince Derek’s side in this lifetime. If you want to kill Prince Derek, kill me too. Because I will never leave him, neither on earth nor in heaven...never!"
