His Witch Queen-Chapter 184: Killer’s daughter!

Alice came back to her chamber with a proud smile. There was no trace of unhappiness in those eyes at all. All that surfaced was the best feeling in the world

’Now Now..Lady Ira...how will you escape from my gasp?’ She was thankful that Forex helped her. The idea of ghosting Lady Ira was entirely hers.

Using all the new techniques, she was successful in making Lady Ira scared of her death in the night. The ghost wasn’t real either, it was all made up of an illusion which brought the undoubtful fear in Lady Ira’s heart.

The black magic was simply a way to stop Lady Ira from practicing her black magic. Upon learning that the purple substance must have shown its effect, Alice played the game of ghost.

Alice was still not contemptuous. But she had done so, with the hope to get the information, ’A person speaks truth when he or she is afraid. Looks like my test passed..’

But holding her precious self back, Alice had self control. Despite her joy overflowing through her mind, she knew when to hold back and not to speak aloud.

KNOCK KNOCK!

Alice turned around to face the door. There stood King Vilas, with the concern look plastered on those two eyes, "Father..you are here?"

"I have something to discuss, Alice." King Vilas said as he stepped inside her chamber. There wasn’t only concern but on a better note, Alice found out that he had something really crucial to have a conversation with.

"I-Is everything fine?"

"Everything is fine but....Alice, you have limited time." His words brought an insignificant frown on her brows, "W-what do you mean to say?" 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮

"I mean to say that you don’t have time left to find the culprit. If you think that it’s lady Ira who is behind the death of your brother, then you should do it. I will hold court tomorrow and everyone will be present.This is the first time when there will be a court session after..."

King Villas didn’t find the need to complete the words. It layed understood to whom he referred, "I understand what you mean. You want me to prove till tomorrow that there is no one else but lady Ira who has committed this sin?"

In return, she received a nod from king Vilas. At this point, a serious look took over her face.

She was still considering what to do and what not. Even though she held the proof, it stopped making her heart skip a beat at the thought.

’What if I’m not able to fulfill my promise?’ She knew that once Lady Ira learns that she is being defamed for the death of Dominic, she would burn like fire. A snake can bite twice and the second bite is more dangerous. The only option to avoid this was to cage the snake at one go.

Alice thought for a while and then, lifted her head to pass her father a strong agreement, "I will prove her guilty tomorrow in front of the court and members. She will face what is required and you need not to worry about her."

"I don’t expect anything less from my daughter." King Vilas commented. He patted her shoulders before he took his leave to step out.

While she saw her father’s back, a sigh escaped from Alice’s lips. Another burden hung on her shoulders and the obligation was supposed to be completed.

At this point, Alice is going to go back to her bed and rest for a while. But her peace didn’t stay for long.

She heard the footsteps behind her, near her door. Immediately, it made Alice’s forehead worry as she turned to the other side and deviated her eyes. "Flora...what are you doing here?"

"S-sister Alice.." She intermingled her fingers, without tearing her graze, "I want to talk to you about something.."

But Alice’s gaze were sharper. They held no such dream to convey with a lady because of whom she was in the deep pit of crisis. She is the daughter of the lady who killed her brother!

Instantly, Alice took large steps. She walked towards the door and was ready to close the door on her face, without waiting to hear what Flora has to say.

But this brought hurriedness out in Flora’s heart. Her eyes turned wide when she kept her hand on the door’s surface, "Sister! P-please...stay, at least listen to what i have to say to you."

"Listen to you? Flora, I’m not in any mood. It ruins my day because of you. I don’t have time for your talks. Please go back and see your mother who is on the bed." Alice’s harsh comment didn’t stop the struggle of Flora.

She had stopped Alice from closing the door completely. There was desperateness in those eyes which telecasted how worried she looked,

"P-Please Alice..I know..I have done blunder since the past and you consider me to be your enemy. We have never been on good terms either but give me a chance!"

"A chance so that you can lie on my face?’ Alice passed her a sarcastic smile. "I would rather sleep than listen to your lies."

Alice was ready to close the door and keep Flora out of her chamber at any cost. Hearing her would be the last thing she would wish to know since it cleared her thought that Flora was sent by Ira to manipulate her.

But she halted in the middle of her actions when Flora only confessed the real reason for being present here.

"Si-sister..I’m here to talk about....
