Samuel woke up and looked at the time, it was five in the evening which meant either Elise was back or was going to be here at any moment.

He pushed off Anastasiya who was using his body as a pillow, Kayla and Mayra were doing the same hugging him from the side. For some reason they liked to stay as close to him as possible when they were asleep.

But after such a tiring day, he knew they wouldn't be able to wake up until dinner. He restored some of their 'injuries' with his powers before going back to clean the whole flat.

Everything was a mess from kitchen to living room, there were things laying around evident of how much they indulged themselves earlier.

He could only shake his head remembering the moment, but he had to be careful it was too vivid and colourful of a scene that would surely make his heart pump.

It was like when he first met Kayla and Mayra, they had the same enthusiasm but honestly the spark never really went away. A week of seperation only added to the blissfulness of their reunion, Anastasiya was just the cherry on top.

He fell asleep during the day was cause enough to know how much 'damage' he took during the battle. Nonetheless, he stopped thinking about it and within an hour tidied up the whole place before taking a quick shower and putting some new clothes.

After covering all three of them with a warm blanket he headed out of the room thinking about preparing dinner for everyone. It was nice to have the whole family at the dinner table and now that he was going to leave the city tomorrow, he wanted to spend more of such moments together with them.

He went upstairs but this time he bumped into a neighbour. Samuel didn't know someone was living on this floor so he was momentarily stumped after all, he was just wearing a t shirt and short far from being presentable.

The person in question was a young lady, wearing clothes that seemed like she was going out for a party. They reached for the elevator at the same time, the lady who was busy on the phone finally noticed someone was beside her which made her temporarily startled.

She looked at the handsome man than noticed the door he came out from which some how made her blush.

" Are you going down? I will take the next one." Samuel said in french. He did hear her talk with her friend so he knew she must be a native but her reaction did confuse him.

" Ah, okay." She started bowing her head up and down like she was nervous. Samuel did wonder if he looked threatening or wild for her to have such a reaction.

He did take a shower and his hair was unkempt, maybe she thought he died his hair which made him unnatural after all, he was running around in short in middle of winter! It wasn't his fault, that's how his body worked!

" Go ahead." He thought it was best to giver her some space so as to diffuse the situation. The girl stared at him before twisting her hip and getting inside the elevator.

Now that she was intently glancing at his face, he was embarrassed. What the hell was going on? One second she was scared than the next second she was making eye contact boldly.

He just smile and nodded but right before the gate was about to close, he heard her say," Please keep it down the next time. People like to sleep on the weekends."

It was loud enough for him to hear it and she did raise her voice intentionally. Now he understood why she was acting weird.

He could only scratch his nose before running away. He had to admit, the girls were loud too loud. All their inhibition would wear off whenever they were with him, it was same for him.

When he first came here, he did check for people nearby but they were at it from morning until now. No matter how empty the apartment complex was, there were bound to be people coming and going throughout the day.

He could only shake his head thinking, it was nice to have a big house by the side of the forest. No one would hear what they were upto and they could enjoy a secluded life for some time. It was best choice for him to build a house away from the Rothschild mansion, he could only imagine if his family member would look at him like this. He would die of embarrassment!

Fortunately, this small episode passed and he soon got busy preparing a scrumptious meal for everyone. He made extra for Eleanor too, he knew she wouldn't be able to refuse eating his home cooked meal.

He knew everyone's preferences and there were plenty of ingredients for him to play around with. So for the next two hours, he solely focused on cooking but soon Elise and other's returned holding a mountain of things.

It was Eleanor's guards that were tasked with transporting the goods, he could feel their presence. He came out of the kitchen while wiping his hands with a small towel.

Even if he was making a feast, his apron was spot less like he never even did anything in the kitchen.

" You are back?" He said with a smile and nodded at the guards. They had few conversation yesterday so it was only fitting for him to acknowledge their presence, it was basic courtesy.

They also bowed slightly before leaving the family to talk.

" Sami~!" As usual, Elise ran at him at full force knowing that he would catch her. She had a lot to tell him, all the fun stuff that he missed. With a proud look on her face, she wanted him to realise what a big mistake made not accompanying her.
