Hollywood Zenith-Chapter 1190: The Vishkanya-1
"I will say you are brave to have come here alone. Do you even know who we are, but more than that, what we are?" The woman asked. The fog had now completely disappeared, giving them a glimpse of each other for the first time.

Sitting opposite him was a slightly darker-skinned lady who seemed to be in her golden years, flaunting her gray streaks with dignity. Her black eyes were like abysses, like someone who had seen everything that world had to offer, both good and bad.
If there were a tangible manifestation of aging gracefully, Samuel would put her forward for it. To be honest, she looked excellent for her age. She was dressed entirely in black, and only her hands were visible, indicating that she was in good physical condition. However, she exuded an aura that Samuel had never anticipated. It was comparable to his encounters with other elderly women, such as the Queen and his grandmother.
"Do I need to be scared of an old lady?" He said with a smirk, watching her face twitch. That was a low blow, but he knew what type of things would rile up people like her.
"Boy, you have a poisonous mouth just like your father, but I have to tell you it would not help you. I can see that the drug is not working on you, but don't take it as a sign of victory. I suggest keeping your arrogance in check; there are people in this world that don't care about your background. They would attack first and ask questions later." As an elder, she gave him a 'life lesson' that would come in handy if he managed to keep his life today.
"Why don't we just cut to the chase and discuss the elephant in the room? How did I know your agent and about her disappearance along with her whole team?" Samuel cut off preaching for a more serious topic.
"I don't know what you are talking about. All our agents are accounted for. If you think you can trick me, then think about it again." The woman stared coldly at him when he mentioned Talia's name.
"I knew you would deny it, but what about this?" He put his hands in the pocket, which didn't alarm her because they had already scanned his body. People didn't know, but their elevator was a sophisticated x-ray compartment that would scan each individual that came inside their premises; that's how careful they were about their security!
"See if you can remember who this belongs to?" He pulled out a few things that he snatched from Talia's body, like her cellphone and other special equipment that they used to communicate covertly.
As soon as the woman saw it, her eyes went wide before her figure moved at lightning-fast speed as she leapt from her seat like a venemous snake. Samuel had to appreciate their agility. He also enjoyed the angry look on her face as she reached out her hand to scratch his face with her long nails.
If it were any other person, he would laugh at their weak attempt to fight him with their bare hands, but the old woman wasn't a nobody. Most people would die by her hands before even knowing what happened, so Samuel wasn't going to take any chances.
He kicked his chair backward and stood up, avoiding her attack, but she was relentlessly swinging her body around like a cat, which seemed impossible for someone of her age. He understood very early that if he touched her, he would have to experience the same thing that happened last night.
"Lady, please stop touching me; I'm not here to fight, and I will not tolerate it. Although I couldn't say the same about her men, she is secure and unharmed." He urged her, but his plea fell on deaf ears.
"Stop talking! When you plead for forgiveness and reveal everything to save your life, I'll know the truth." She was relentless!
"Remember my warning: don't force me to knock you unconscious. I'd rather not do it." Samuel really didn't want to be on the bad side of these people, knowing how dangerous they were, but it seemed like he had no choice but to do it.
He was about to hit her in the back of the neck when the old-fashioned telephone on the table began to ring, catching them both off guard. They both took advantage of the moment and simply exchanged glances. The phone kept ringing when he said, Just answer it; we can finish this after it."
She merely threw him a lethal look before returning to her chair to answer the phone without saying anything. This specific number was not dialed very often. Since few people knew who she was because of her standing, only those with a high level of authority could access her work phone, which forced her to accept it because it might be crucial. Samuel was not going anywhere, so he could wait!
She didn't even get to say anything before Talia started complaining that she was captured and needed urgent rescue. The woman looked at Samuel, but when she heard how stressed out Talia was and what she was doing, she was taken aback a little.
Samuel also approached the table and started the speaker phone because he could hear Talia's faint voice because of his super hearing. He was curious what she wanted to do when he warned her to stay put and not make anymore trouble.
The content was just as illuminating for both the woman and Samuel as he heard her sob story, which was a complete retelling of last night's events to make it more dramatic while making him a villain. What's more, she specifically left out the part of them getting intimate; probably she didn't want her superiors to find out about her 'easy' adventures.
When she finished, Samuel was the first one to reply,Oh? That's a lot that I didn't know about. You have already met them? Good for you, but I am sure they would make your life a hell soon." Before he hung up the phone.
"What? Why did you do that?" The woman was taken aback, but Samuel simply rested his hands on the table before saying, What she told you is a complete lie! I will tell you what really happened, and after that, you can decide who is telling the truth."
The woman folded her arms and decided to hear him out after all she had verified that Talia was safe and sound. The thing about her men meant nothing to her because they were disposable. What she heard was the most ridiculous tale she ever heard in her career!
