How To End This Marriage-Chapter 121: A Dream of Consequence
"Madam, you have returned!!" As I got out of the carriage, the workers of the mansion circled around me, bombarding me with numerous questions about the tea party and the princess.
"Madam, what happened in the tea party? Did you make friends? How are they? Did the princess like you?" they asked, making me feel overwhelmed at the entrance of the mansion.
"Leave the madam!! She is tired. She needs rest," my maid intervened, securing my escape to my room and allowing me to breathe in peace.
"Woah, these people don’t have a sense of stopping. They could have just waited for you to finish your rest, then come and ask, but they just kept on jumping on you. So bad. They are behaving nothing like those other people in the state," my maid expressed her concern.
"It is ok. I’m fine. They are only curious about the party. And anyone would be. You don’t have to worry," I assured her and tried to fall asleep. For a moment, I had the thought I would get the dream once again, which kept slipping into my dreams even though I didn’t know what was going on there.
I closed my eyes, hoping I wouldn’t get the dream again, but it didn’t stop. It didn’t work as I wished, and I was once again sucked into the scene where I found the angel still sitting near the riverbank, waiting for the knight.
"Princess, come back to the heavenly realm," the person kept on calling the angel to return, but the angel didn’t focus on her. The day passed, even night covered her, but she kept on waiting for the knight in the same place until one day she saw the knight coming toward her, blood falling on the ground.
"Knight, what made you look like this? Did the other opponent make you like this? I will take revenge for you," the angel rose in anger while trying to go to war.
"The war is over, angel. The war is over. And how will you take my revenge when you said they are also people? If they die, their family will suffer, so how will you do that?" the knight said, making the angel change her expression as if she had changed after meeting this knight.
"I’m not going to live anymore, angel. I think my time has come to an end. As you said once you saved me, but the next moment I’m going to get the most painful death, and here am I. The opponent’s sword pierced through my chest, but I still came here to meet you, I don’t know why. My heart is bleeding in pain, but my heart desired to meet you, see you once the last time," the knight said, making the angel’s eyes teary.
"I think I have fallen for you, angel," the knight said while falling to the ground.
"No, no!!! I didn’t wait here so long to see you die."
"No, you can’t die. I will do anything to save you, even if I break every single rule of the world," she said. The person came running to her trying to stop her, but the angel didn’t listen to anyone. She summoned her entire power, creating a circle around her. Both of them were locked inside a shining circle while the angel chanted something, trying to save the knight.
"Princess, don’t do this!!!! This is against the rule!!!" the person shouted from behind, trying to stop her.
"No, the knight will live. I will not stop!!!" she said and chanted once again, fixing the sword wound inside his chest to the point where the blood stopped flowing out of his body. The last thing she did was whisper to retrieve his soul and entered his body once again.
"Princess, what have you done!!" the person fell on her knees, witnessing the miracle happening.
"Princess, you shouldn’t have done this!!!" the person cried, filled with fear.
"Princess, this is something that would never happen in this mortal world, but now you did it. The heavenly realm won’t accept you," the person cried on her knees as she spoke.
"I don’t ask for their acceptance. But I can’t let this man die!!!!" she said, tears dropping from her eyes.
"This man has become the existence of mine!!" she said while crying, and soon, a portal opened in the sky, making the angel look up.
"Aurelia!!! You have been accused of breaking the rule of the heavenly realm."
"Your mistakes are unforgivable."
"You have broken the rule of the realm by recruiting the dead to life. Your only punishment is death," the prophecy said.
"No, let the princess live," the person cried, begging the prophecy oracle to let her live, but her words were not listened to.
"Don’t beg to them. They are all heartless animals in the heavenly realm. They don’t think from the heart but only from the brain. Mortals are not people for them. They think they are the only ones to rule among the mortals, but I can’t let it happen. Even if I have to disappear from this world, I will save this man," the angel said, looking at the closing eyes of the knight.
She slowly lowered down to the knight and placed a kiss on the knight’s lips while tears dropped from her eyes.
"Maybe it is the last time I’m seeing you, knight. Don’t hurt yourself any further," the angel whispered and followed the light to the heavenly realm.

"Madam!"
"Madam!!"
I opened my eyes from the dream. As I opened my eyes, I found myself filled with teary eyes.
"Madam, did you have a bad dream?" the voice sounded recognizable.
"Wife?" I quickly turned to him. It was none other than the duke who is sitting beside me and calling me gently.
"You have returned!!!"
"You have returned!! I’m not dreaming right? You are real right?" I kept on asking him numerous times, finding him near me. I’m so shocked. From yesterday, I couldn’t even imagine waking up with him by my side, but he is here. He has returned.
"Yes Wife! I’m not dreaming. I’ve returned. I have returned to you." he said gently, caressing my lips and slowly touching my lips corner.
"I didn’t think you would be so happy seeing me. I didn’t think you would be thinking of me so much that I will see you shedding tears seeing me." he said, making his grip tight on my cheeks.
"You promised me you will return. You promised me you will not let anything happen to you, so of course I would be waiting for you." I said, hurriedly getting up from the bed.
"Oh really? There is no other meaning behind your waiting for me?" he asked. I could see him smirking at me.
"Yeah, there is no other meaning. And why would there be any other meaning when my husband can’t even send a single letter to me letting me know he is alive, he is doing well, he will return to me once again. But no, he is all devoted to his country, but why would there be any letters to his wife." I pouted saying.
"You didn’t get any letters?" he questioned, making me confused.
"No, I didn’t get any letters," I replied.
"But how could it be possible? I have sent you letters every day. Every single night, I have written letters for you, pouring my feelings out for you. Then how come you didn’t get any letters?" the duke said.
"I don’t know, duke, why I didn’t get any letters, but now you are here, and this is enough," I went to him and hugged him tightly. His warmth is the same as the time he left. He smells just like how he used to. Nothing has changed. He has returned. My husband has returned.
"Duchess, aren’t you showing so much love toward me?" he said as I snuggled onto his arm and acted cozy.
"Even if it isn’t love, I still have the right to hold you like this. I’m your wife. I have all the rights on you," I said.
"So are you saying you don’t love me?" he said, making my chest squeeze a little bit.
"Maybe I do, maybe I don’t. Who knows!" I smiled and ran away from the room, but he pulled me back once again, making me press into his chest.
"Where are you running away, my little wife? Are you already up to run from me? But I won’t let you do that. You are locked with me for the entire life of yours," he whispered into my ear and turned me around to place a kiss on my lips, but...
"Son, you have returned? You didn’t give me information about your return!" the duchess entered the room without asking me permission.
"Oh yes, mother, I was about to go to you," the duke said instantly, removing his hands from me in embarrassment.
