JASMINE’S POV

Once Louis’ men confirmed it was safe to go in, we slowly approached the mansion ahead. It was about the same size as Keith’s new estate if not a little bit smaller.

By the entrance of the house there were several men rounded up and tied up together. There were also two normal house servants among the guards.

"These are all the people were appears no one else in the house sir," one of Louis men told him when we reached him.

"Wheres Kolton?" Louis asked one of the guards.

They remained silent as they looked up at Louis.

""Lets search the place," Louis ordered his men who immeditely began entering the home. "Remain alert there might be more people in hiding."

We went further into the house. Louis made sure to walk infront of me as we explored each room. We went through the main rooms of the ground floor. Kitchen.

We went past a portrait of a woman who had the same hair color as Kolton. His mother and Keith’s fathers former mistress.

I couldn’t believe Tony was being into something that probably lay between Kolton and Keith’s father. Just like we had sesarched the Kensington house we went through every detail.

There was nothing downstairs.

We navigated our way up the stairs and began to carefully go through every room. Searching every nook and cranny of the rooms.

"We have to check for any potential scecret passages or hidden compartments," i told louis. "Keith told me that at several of the properties rented by Edward there were hidden areas found."

"Okay," Louis agreed. He talked into the walkie-talkie making sure the other guards knew what to search for.

Unfortnuately each room showed no signs of activity.

It was starting to look like no one else was home at all. Anthony was in none of the rooms. My heart began hammering in my chest as the fact settled in my mind. We really broke into the place and he wasn’t here. If Kolton wasn’t the culprit everything was ruined now.

He will find out about what’s happened to his mother’s home in a few days and complicate my situation if he found out Louis and i were involved. I was already in trouble with Keith who was going to be looking for me if not already.

We entered the next room. This was Kolton’s mothers’ room from the belongings inside. Old dresses in the closet. We searched the room up and down and found nothing yet again.

We left the room and entered the next the room which is was in the remaining wing we had yet to search. I felt rigid as i desperately opened every drawer and cupboard.

One of Louis’s men came to the door.

"The whole house is now confirmed to be clear, sir," he informed us.

"There’s nothing and no one," louis finally said to me.

I winced as the reality sank in. But I didn’t stop searching the room.

"Now what do we do?" I asked.

I was looking through the bookshelves when a paper suddenly slipped between the books. It dropped to the floor and I quickly bent over and picked it up.

On the paper was a crayon drawing of three people. The drawing style looked very familiar. And each fugure was labeled. My eyes widened as I read the names under each figure. ’Tony’ ’Marco’ ’Uncle’

"Tony was here louis oh my god," I said in shock as I stared at the drawing.

"What?" Louis asked as he approached me. i showed him the drawing on the paper.

"He was here and then he was taken away," I said as I looked at the paper.

"And you just found it on the bookshelf?"

i nodded in response.

Tears streamed down my face in both relief and shock at the paper.

"Wheres Kolton?" Louis asked one of the guards. They again remained silent.

"Still don’t want to talk?" Louis too out a gun. He shot at the ground near the men. They winced in reaction at the sound of the bullet contacting the floor.

"Next time you’ll be the target," Louis threatened.

"We don’t know!" he screamed.

"Don’t lie to me!" Louis threatened again. He fired another round.

"He’s at his home near Kensington!" another blurted out in fear.

"Is my son there?" I asked pushing in.

"I don’t know who your son is," he said.

"Is Chairman Acland’s son with Kolton and was he here?" Louis clarified. i realized they had no idea who ’my son’ was. plus I was wearing a mask. 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎

"Yes!" the ohter guard screamed out.

Louis knelt to their level. "What exactly happened here?"

Another wave of relief came over me.

However, since he was an omega they knew they could get away with treating him like this.

Not to mention they were clearly also sending a message to other omegas by humiliating him like this.

I caught glances of other omegas as they walked past the omega being punished.

I knew that look all too well. The look of it might be that omega getting punished today but what if it was them tomorrow? It was a frequent occurrence after all for an omega to be brutalised in public.

I thought of what would happened to me if my heat had started today in the main city...

"What’s the story with him?" I heard an omega who was part of the crowd watching ask.

"Apparently, he reported to the sentinels that his pimp has something to do with his sibling who went missing recently. The pimp claims its false and he assaulted her,’" another answered.

"Public services don’t work for omegas. Why would he report to them expecting them to help?"

"I don’t know."

The two sentinels continued to hit him. "With your body bruised how will you make a living? Guess you’ll have to consider other career paths not that you have many options outside of this.

"You never know someone just might have a fetish for it." The other said.
