Colonel Marcos glanced over Kyle and Sergeant Fury. “Since you both know each other, I won’t say anything else. Tonight, as leaders, you’ll take charge of hundreds of armed soldiers to the fifth encampment.”

Kyle and Sergeant Fury nodded.

“Remember, this battle is fought with the other forces at the same time! You must complete the mission within the prescribed time!” Colonel Marcos said, his eyes as sharp as an eagle. “I’ll only accept success, not failure!”

“Yes, colonel!” Sergeant Fury and Kyle saluted, a statement of accepting their duties.

“Then, Corporal Kyle, go and have a rest. Sergeant Fury, you should begin arranging the troops now. When the time is ripe, you two will set out with your troops.” Colonel Marcos gave them a short briefing and a small map to the two enlisted soldiers before allowing them to leave.

“Then, I’ll see you tonight, Kyle,” Sergeant Fury said lowly as he turned and walked the opposite direction. Though he had a wound on his left eye, it mattered to him not. He was concerned of the upcoming raid tonight that he trotted directly towards the soldier’s resting area to prepare.

On the other hand, Kyle returned to his quarter. It was a makeshift test, nothing fancy. He lied on the quilt bed and closed his eyes. He entered the space in his mind.

Card Space!

In the card space is a vast white space of cubes; hundreds of thousands of cards he accumulated spun in a hurricane-like manner.

“Though it’s only a raid tonight, I can’t be careless. I need to find ways to improve my combat strength.”

The embodiment of Kyle’s mind was like a card storm. Located in the middle of the card space, he visited the cards the flashes in front of him.

Over the past three days, his ability to draw cards further improved.

With the ability to enter the card space, he’s able to view and read the cards in his hand freely. Moreover, he’s able to simulate the use of the cards.

Then, there is also an ability called ‘sacrifice extraction.’

The sacrifice extraction card can draw from Kyle’s inventory, select any ten cards of the same color or level for sacrifice. After the card sacrifice, there exists the probability of gaining a higher ranked skill card––a card beyond green, but so far, Kyle has yet to find a card beyond the lines of green.

“I wonder… What card exists beyond green?”

He was curious. He’s seen the profound skills of the rare green card, the skills reaching the peaks of humanity, and surpassing the strains confining mankind. Kyle guessed that beyond the green skill cards, the next stage, the cards would fall into the category of superpowers… Item cards of this level would be some alien futuristic tech.

“Either way, it doesn’t matter. I only need whatever helps me in my present situation,” Kyle muttered. He waved his hand and looked through the cards in his card space, sorting them out neatly.

In total…

Green Cards: 66

White Cards: 389
