I am the Clone of a Death Row Inmate-Chapter 44: Swan Dance
The consequence of teasing Liou Wenxin with a wisecrack was Su Ze having to wash the dishes all by himself.
The Dongli Kingdom had officially created a file for Su Ze. On the eleventh day since his arrival, he finally had a legal, usable identity.
Although he had never been to the Dongli Kingdom, he was now a citizen of Dongli.
However, he couldn’t get his ID card just yet; he would have to wait until he arrived in the Dongli Kingdom.
His household registration was filed under Liou Wenxin’s family—as siblings, of course.
Su Ze had never expected that after calling her "sis" all day, he would actually become Liou Wenxin’s legal sibling, despite having different parents and surnames.
From now on, he could call her "sis" with an even clearer conscience. After all, they were on the same household register, certified by the Dongli Kingdom’s Department of Household Registration.
In the afternoon, Su Ze began some basic physical training in the courtyard.
Training while popping pills was the norm for many evolvers.
There was still a large amount of undigested Evolutionary Material in Su Ze’s body from the Undying Salamander extract he had absorbed two days ago. The higher the grade and quality of the extract, the longer it took to digest.
During the process of digesting the extract, an evolver’s physical attributes would continuously improve.
A Tier 2, S-grade extract would take about two months for the body to digest naturally. Taking supplementary drugs could shorten this process.
The Body Health Digestive Pills Su Ze was taking were already the most effective synthetic drugs of their kind on the market. With uninterrupted daily use, he could complete the absorption in about half a month. If he added high-intensity training, this time could be shortened even further.
Su Ze strapped lead weights to his body and began to run.
He ran lap after lap around the courtyard, his clothes becoming soaked with sweat before he knew it.
Many evolvers chose to work out at gyms. Modern high-end gyms had training equipment specifically for evolvers, but Su Ze didn’t have that luxury right now. He could only make do with the most traditional training method: running.
After running for three hours, Su Ze had just stopped to catch his breath when he saw Liou Wenxin standing at the doorway, waving at him. He hadn’t noticed when she appeared.
"What’s up?"
"Your training method is too crude."
Su Ze’s eyes lit up. "You have a better way?"
Liou Wenxin said, "First, you need to understand the purpose of physical exercise. Both evolvers and ordinary people exercise, but their goals are completely different."
Su Ze seemed to grasp something and analyzed, "Ordinary people exercise to stay fit and healthy. It seems like it’s the same for evolvers... wait, I think I get it!
"Evolvers undergo high-intensity training to enhance their physical attributes, but simple exercise has limited gains and a low ceiling. That’s why evolvers always pair their training with evolutionary drugs."
"Correct." Liou Wenxin nodded. "The reason evolvers can break human limits is that evolutionary power and Evolutionary Material have modified their bodies. The evolutionary drugs you normally take also contain various types of Evolutionary Material. It’s precisely this material that allows your physical attributes to improve so rapidly."
"Therefore, the direct purpose of an evolver’s exercise is to stimulate the body and accelerate the absorption of Evolutionary Material. The evolutionary drugs you’ve taken, along with the unabsorbed extract in your system, have caused a large amount of Evolutionary Material to accumulate in your body. High-intensity exercise can indeed speed up the digestion of this material, but your method is too crude. It’s inefficient and lacks focus."
Su Ze’s eyes filled with adoration, sparkling like little stars. He said, "A top-tier evolution scientist like you, sis, must know a highly efficient and focused training method, right?"
"Who taught you to suck up at such a young age?" Liou Wenxin recalled that when she was Su Ze’s age, she was a proud and aloof girl. She could never have flattered someone as smoothly as him.
Despite her words, a smile unconsciously appeared on her face. "Training methods like these are usually the secret techniques of major factions. However, I did some research in this area a few years ago and created a training method of my own. If you want to learn, I can teach you."
Su Ze nodded furiously. "Yes, yes! I want to learn! A training method created by you, sis, must be even better than the ones passed down by those major factions!"
"I wouldn’t say it’s better than theirs, but it’s certainly not any worse," Liou Wenxin said confidently. "Wait for me. I’ll change my clothes and then I’ll teach you."
"Okay."
Before long, Su Ze saw Liou Wenxin walk out in a form-fitting yoga outfit.
The tight yoga clothes perfectly outlined her figure, a stunning combination of Western curves and Eastern grace.
"I call this training method the ’Swan Dance.’ It’s a set of movements designed based on human anatomy, combined with special force application techniques, to specifically stimulate the parts of the body most receptive to Evolutionary Material. It can effectively speed up the body’s digestion of this material."
’Swan Dance?’ Su Ze felt something was off as he listened.
’Is it *that* Swan Dance?’
"I’ll demonstrate it once. Just watch for now and pick up what you can."
After speaking, Liou Wenxin began to move. She rose onto her tiptoes, placed her hands in front of her stomach, and lifted her head, revealing her snow-white neck, looking like a proud and elegant swan.
Then, with light taps of her feet, she moved her arms, spinning and leaping with graceful, enchanting movements.
As she danced, she explained the force application techniques to Su Ze in great detail. What seemed like a simple dance was actually a fusion of the finest elements of dance, yoga, martial arts, and gymnastics.
But no matter how you looked at it, it was still a dance!
It was about eighty percent similar to the swan dance from the ballet *Swan Lake* that Su Ze had seen in his previous life.
’She wants *me* to dance this?’
Every fiber of Su Ze’s being resisted.
Soon, Liou Wenxin finished the routine and said to Su Ze, "Now, do it with me once."
’Everything for evolution and getting stronger. Besides, there’s no one else here...’ Luckily, Su Ze wasn’t someone who cared too much about his pride. After comforting himself, he began to follow Liou Wenxin, learning one move after another.
It had to be said, as an evolver, Su Ze’s physical condition was excellent. Both his balance and coordination were extremely strong, and he quickly grasped the essentials of the Swan Dance.
Liou Wenxin had only taught him two or three times before Su Ze had basically learned it and could perform the dance by himself.
Liou Wenxin was beautiful when she danced, but when Su Ze danced... can you imagine a six-foot-tall cygnet?
Su Ze felt his dance should be called the "Big Goose Dance" or the "Penguin Dance."
Fortunately, after finishing the dance, Su Ze could clearly feel the digestion of the Evolutionary Material in his body speeding up, and his physical attributes had noticeably improved.
Considering how effective it was, Su Ze could tolerate it, even if he felt a little embarrassed.
’It’s fine. There are only the two of us here. What’s wrong with making a fool of myself in front of my own sister...’ But as he turned his head, he saw an old face plastered against the window behind him.
’Mrs. Yun’s injuries must have been too light!’
’Still, my sister is so considerate. She must be afraid I’m embarrassed, so she’s turned her head away and isn’t looking at me.’
’Huh? Why are her shoulders shaking nonstop?’
