I Am The Only Witch Hunter-Chapter 357: The Knight Code
Our past would come and haunt us all, whether or not we like it. Siderius had been running around, causing havoc and playing with the web of fate. He knew that sooner or later, everything would come crumbling down on him.
And the first consequence was approaching much nearer than he could ever imagine.
Siderius returned to Santa Roberto in the warm greetings of his apprentice and the applause of his people. His subjects adored and admired him. He provided them a life of freedom and purpose that no other territory could provide.
He did it for a reason. All of them would soon know why.

Siderius opened his eyes and breathed out. He had absorbed the remaining amount of Psychosis left from Cyclops Odora. The Cyclops Odora provided him with the ability Flesh Sense and allowed him to spot any type of flesh near him both dead or alive.
Siderius stood up and dusted his knees. He pulled the curtains over and took a look at Santa Roberto below.
His territory had been developing non-stop. All factions within Santa Roberto were bigger than ever.
Santa Roberto originally had four factions based on Siderius’s design, Military, Extraction, Agriculture, and Artisans.
In the beginning, most subjects fell into the group Extraction and Agriculture because they were the least skill-related factions. But now, with the guidance of the Steward, Lord Strategist, and Lord Instructors, the other factions were filled up.
Originally, Santa Roberto had under 100 residents. Siderius didn’t intend to add more residents because the castle couldn’t feed all of those people. It was different now.
Under Siderius’ order, George and Roland had been slowly building up the castle, facility-wise and also population-wise.
Many structures inside the castle were repurposed to be more fitting for a Barony. Most rooms were turned into training grounds, storage rooms, and living quarters. Siderius left the church in the middle of Santa Roberto alone because he knew that the Outsider would be watching. He didn’t want to piss that god off.
From the short time he knew that god. He was extremely petty to his enemies.
Even after repurposing, the castle couldn’t hold more than 500 people without sacrificing some of the quality of life. Naturally, Santa Roberto was expanded. Both the castle and the town surrounding it.
A new town was built around Santa Roberto. This was where most of the members of the Extraction and Agriculture lived, the factions with the most populations. While Agriculture and Military were more favorable to live inside the castle.
New roads had been conducted between towns, Santa Roberto, points of interests like Rose Springs, and anywhere in between. This ensured if anything happened, Santa Roberto and other towns could assist each other.
The other towns had also been put to work. Each town had its own independent Quest Office that reported to the Head Quest Office in Santa Roberto.
There were eight towns under the command of Santa Roberto.
Rivertown, whose name was Mucktown. Wood’s End, whose name was Ragtown. Forest Spike, whose name was Rugtown. Riverdance, whose name was Slanktown. Chilly Hill, whose name was Mudtown.
Alongside the original towns that were converted. Rose Springs, Rocky Pits, and the range of hills that Siderius once had a hideout there were also converted into small towns that focused on extracting the ores and minerals inside. Rose Springs had rare ores. Rocky Pits had a lot of metals. And those hills, now named Whitestone, had a bit of both.
As of now, Santa Roberto’s population had reached 1,000 people. Many more structures had been built. The town became a busy and center point of trading in the North. Out of those 1,000 people, 200 were capable and strong warriors.
It’s a very humble amount but for a young territory, that was a lot. Jude’s territory, Scalize, only had 200-300 men and he had years to build his territory.
In Rivertown, there were around 50 capable warriors that could be mobilized at any time.
Another 50 in Wood’s End. 20 in Forest Spike. 30 in Riverdance. And 10 in Chilly Hill.
Rose Springs, Rocky Pits, and Whitestone also had soldiers but they were placed there permanently to ensure the safety of the area.
In total, Siderius had 360 soldiers. Under Siderius’ order, Roland and Henry were still raising more and more soldiers for him. The entire Snowfell had become a military base.
Of all those 360 soldiers, 130 were Guards. Guards were the lowest rank in the Military faction with just enough skill to protect the territory.
200 were Soldiers, all were inside Santa Roberto. Soldiers were the second rank. They’re capable enough for Siderius to use in war.
The last 30 were Knights. These were unique and talented warriors that Siderius and Henry handpicked to train them even further. They were the one with enough heart and resiliency to stride even further in the road of combat.
With the addition of Damianos Argentius, the training for the Military branch got enhanced. He brought his knowledge from Everia to Santa Roberto. Most of the people didn’t know his true identity. They only knew him as Rob, a mysterious swordsman the Baron picked up from somewhere.
Damianos didn’t teach the Knights Silver Lock. Siderius also didn’t want to teach them that. He had already created a new Spirit Art for his soldiers. An Art that would ensure their honor and loyalty to the territory and him.
He made this by using the concept of the Hunter Oath and Xander’s Oath. The core purpose of this Art was to stay true to their honor and loyalty. It highlighted the seven virtues that Siderius purposefully put in.
The Spirit Art didn’t outright make them a loyal puppet. But if they wanted to become great, they would have to live by virtue.
The seven virtues were...
Courage: To never know fear.
Justice: To always be fair.
Mercy: To spare the fallen.
Generosity: To never be greedy.
Faith: To never break an oath.
Nobility: To act with honor.
Hope: To never give up.
This Spirit Art was named the Knight Code by Siderius.
