I Am The Only Witch Hunter-Chapter 375: Platinum I
Inside Santa Roberto, the two moons hovered between Siderius' gold soul. One moon was red while the other was silver.
It was the total amount of Light Aether and Dark Aether that Siderius had collected.
He gained quite a lot of Light Aether by cleansing witches and their influence out of the land.
He gained an enormous amount of Dark Aether by absorbing the purple heart left behind by the Tree of Woe.
Now he could accelerate the rate of his Truth-Seeking Path. There was no need for years and years of practice anymore. He could regain his original Soul Rank simply with these moons.
"Begin!"
Outside the real world, Siderius moved his hands. One hand held the red moon and the other held the silver moon. Their images reflected to the real world and pulsed brightly. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
Siderius raised his hands. The moons lifted from his palms and rotated around his head.
In his dark mind space, the moons also started to rotate. They spun faster and faster until they created a blur circle in front of the Gold Soul.
True Aether inside the Gold Soul become agitated. They quickly fused into his soul in an unimaginable rate.
In the morning, as Siderius opened his eyes again, he was no longer a Gold Alchemist. He had achieved his old rank from the past. A Platinum Alchemist.
He was still only Platinum I and would be able to become even more powerful when he became Platinum III but this was already enough to wreak havoc in Eldoria.
Siderius' left hand stirred gently. The Platinum bracer, the S.Y.S.T.E.M., was removed from his wrist and floated gently above his hand.
While he wasn't a Platinum Alchemist, it was difficult to control the SYSTEM and modified it. He could only do certain minor things like add more attributes or reconfigure the interface of the window status.
But now, he had accessed its master control.
"Now that I can control you. Let's make a few adjustments to make you even more powerful."

"My soul has reached Platinum Rank. Now I can finally create Shock Steel and True Steel. I should be able to forge my Spirit Blade as well."
The final level of Spirit Swordsman was Blade of Spirit. Steel of Will prepared the material to form the sword. Forge of Flame was the tool. Now Siderius only needed to create the blade.
"Shock Steel could absorb much more force and shock. It is basically an indestructible piece of steel. True Steel is a level higher and can amplify any energy going through it, either kinetic, alchemical seal, or any power. Naturally, it should be able to amplify Willpower as well."
True Steel was better than Shock Steel in all aspects but making it required many rare materials and a huge amount of effort. Siderius wanted to forge two swords in Shock Steel and one main sword, the Silver Hawk to True Steel.
Three physical swords and one Spiritual Sword.
"I wonder if I can create a core for the spiritual sword by using True Steel…"
With the death of the Tree of Woe, Count Rufus's attack on Scalize slowed down. The only advantage he had was the force of witches, which was greatly damaged because of the disappearance of the Tree of Woe.
It had given Siderius enough time to arm himself and upgrade his bracer.
After a week, Siderius marched toward Scalize with his army. He didn't bring much, only the 100 Knights. The best of the beat within his army.
Alongside him were the four apprentices. As for Nadia, Siderius had ordered her to stay behind and continued to raise the army and trained the soldiers.
On the road, Henry couldn't help but whisper to Ashe.
"Master seems different…" He said.
Even from afar, they could feel a certain pressure around him. Siderius changed once more. He became even more unpredictable and powerful. They used to be able to measure how strong he was.
But now, he felt like a layer of thick cloud, unable to examine and measure.
"He has returned…" Ashe said.
"What do you mean by that?" Roland asked.
Ashe shook her head, "I don't know for sure but I always feel that he was different. Like there was a beast within him that we couldn't see. The beast has been unleashed."
The legion wasted another week to reach Scalize. They're trying their best to hold onto their defenses. But obviously, they were losing.
When Siderius arrived, the commander greeted him. He was once the commander of the garrison under Baron Jude Fisher, now he was the temporary lord of the town.
"Lord Watcher! You've finally come!" Jorel the commander greeted Siderius.
Siderius nodded, "How have you been, Lord Protector?"
Jorel's title changed. He wasn't simply a commander anymore but Lord Protector of Scalize. A title that gave him many powers and privileges. There was a reason why he stayed on Siderius' side after the uprising.
"The situation is dire, Lord Watcher. I don't know if we can hold on for long."
"Don't worry. I'll take care of it today." Siderius said.
"Do you need me to summon the army, Lord Watcher?"
"No need. Me and my legion are enough."
Jorel looked back at the fully armored Knights behind Siderius. It's rare to see a legion as perfectly equipped as this. But he was still worried.
"Are you sure, my lord?"
Siderius smiled.
He shouted, "Are you tired?!"
"No!" The Knights shouted. Their shout rumbled the ground.
"Are you ready for war?"
"Yes!"
"See, Lord Protector. You don't have to worry about my legion!"
Siderius marched toward the border of Scalize.
