I Am The Only Witch Hunter-Chapter 378 - 379: God Mother
The God Mother slammed her hand onto the table. The entire capital of Eldoria shook because of her hand.
"Filthy Everia! I was wondering where did that small witch get the guts to betray us. But he's actually an Everian."
"We don't know for sure if he is an Everian, God Mother." Jay said.
"Of course he is an Everian! Who else can release half a mile sword beam? Not only is he an Everian. That kid must belong to one of the Great Houses as well."
"Do you have the answer in mind already, God Mother?" Jay said.
"Of course. He must belong to the Glacirius. They just started a civil war in Everia and now another one in our own kingdom?! This is no coincidence."
The God Mother roared.
She was a giant lady with so much fat, it was simply unimaginable that a human could be like this. Her entire body spread on the bed. Her feet couldn't be seen nor her bottom. The only thing that was visible was her enormous belly and the cartoonishly small upper body.
"We are actually in a cooperative relationship with Glacirium since they need us to put pressure on Everia. Maybe I can send a messenger over there." Jay said.
"Can you do that for me, baby?" The God Mother said.
"Anything for you, my love." Jay kissed the hideous monster.
Jay was a handsome looking male witch. He looked as though he had never seen a day of hard work in his life. One must wonder why he was in love with this hideous monster.
Siderius pushed the door open. He had returned to Santa Roberto after his brief trip to Southpara.
Nivalis's forces had taken over Southpara but they abandoned the southern half of the territory. It was too far away from the North and the characteristics of that area would provide disadvantages to Nivalis.
So Nivalis only kept the North section. That area was easy to defend and could be used as the border between Nivalis and Eldoria.
Roland had suggested this since Nivalis was very young and wasting more resources to keep the southern part from Eldoria's counter attack would be foolish.
Siderius' skin had gone over another make over. Previously, his skin had black tattoo lines representing the mutation of the black dragon. Now all of them had disappeared.
Siderius' skin returned to its flawless state. This was because he had grafted the skin of that skinwalker and gained the mutated ability, Skin Changer. He could transform his skin as well and therefore, switch his appearance.
"You look even more perfect, Master." Ashe rubbed her flushed cheeks.
Siderius raised an eyebrow.
"My apology, Master!" Ashe quickly lowered her head.
"How are your Soul Rank and Body Rank?" Siderius said.
"It is still going well, Master. My Soul Rank should be Silver III any moment now. I have also finished my third Ocula."
Siderius nodded, "Eldoria knows the true extent of my power. They wouldn't attack for a while. Use this peaceful timeframe to get as strong as you can."
"Of course, Master!"
After one long year of war, Nivalis calmed down for a while. Changes were made to every corner of this new and young kingdom. Quest Offices showed up like mushrooms after the rain.
The old order had been removed and replaced; it was the new age of adventurers.
Alchemist. Witch Hunter. And Knight of the Sacred Empire became the three most sought after professions.
Siderius had separated Witch Hunter and Knight into two equivalent ranks in his territory. If the soldiers had enough faith to go through the training of a knight, he would learn the Knight Code and become a Knight of the Sacred Empire.
If the soldiers were resilient and talented enough to receive mutations, but his faith was questionable, Siderius allowed them to graft mutations via the Xander's Oath. It was a similar situation with Kraus where the soldiers couldn't betray Siderius or else there would be grave consequences to them.
Siderius devised the plan to develop and change Nivalis. Then he gave it to his trusted Lords of the Council to handle the rest.
As for himself, he took his cloak and went on the road again. His hair turned black and his appearance also transformed. No one could know that he was the feared Siderius Snow Satterblade anymore.
Siderius went on the journey of his own to find the last piece of skin mutation. After that, there would only be Ultima left and he would finally access Rank 2 of Witch Hunter.
"Witch Hunter is too slow to advance in power. If I have a chance, I should redesign it." Siderius thought to himself.
Siderius went on the road to many towns that he had been to before. Rivertown where Gigi had become the official Lord Chancellor.
Scalize with Jorel as Lord Protector.
The group of orphans in Wood's End had joined Santa Roberto and became a part of Siderius' force.
Siderius went to every single town before leaving for Blacklungs one more time.
Blacklungs was once a branch of his Xander guild. Obviously after the treason, the guild was disbanded and most of the members had gone into hiding.
Actually, the guild was still there. But it had been rebranded into a group of fishermen.
Siderius had rescued a group of fishermen before and they had gone to Blacklungs to join the guild. Siderius knew that he was going to attack the North soon so the guild went over the process to make sure each and every member was safe.
When he arrived at Blacklungs. The street was extra quiet and eerie. This place used to be crowded. The most crowded city in Eldoria. But now, it was a cemetery with only wind and tumbleweeds.
"Eldoria has really gone panicked, huh?"
Siderius found his way to the dock. He went past the House of God where it was once the safehouse for the guild. It was abandoned now.
He went to the boat area and soon found his old members there. They had all changed their appearance to make sure they wouldn't be caught.
"Long time no see." Siderius said.
"My... Long time no see, Nyx." Teddy was going to say 'my lord' but suddenly remembered their situation.
"Please follow me, Nyx."
Teddy led Siderius into one of the boat to talk privately.
