Sighing, he finally reached the towering Vanguard Gate.

The gate itself was massive, about twenty meters wide. Yet, it looked like a window hole compared to the massive walls surrounding Marlin Fortress. It was heavily guarded by Players radiating the terrifying pressure of Level 10 and above.

As Igris approached, a guard in heavy plate armor held up a hand.

"Halt. Provide your identification."

Igris handed over his student ID card. The guard’s eyes flashed with scanning lights—red, yellow, then a solid green.

The guard handed the card back with a sharp nod. "Happy hunting, freshman."

Igris stepped through the massive threshold. Instantly, the System chimed.

The immediate surroundings outside the fortress were utterly desolate. It was a barren, apocalyptic wasteland

Igris pulled out his digital map, selected a direction, and started walking.

After a kilometer of wasteland, the environment finally began to shift. Dead dirt gave way to patches of grass, which quickly thickened into dense wild grasses and towering, ancient trees.

[ You have entered: Deepgrove Forest. ]

According to the map, he needed to traverse straight through the Deepgrove Forest to reach the Greenshade boundary, where the Green Lizard Dungeon was located.

Igris was especially excited for this adventure. He can finally battle a monster and try to level up his multiplier as well as his Asura body as his experience progress.

There were just a lot of things to do but he knew taking it slow and steady was the best option.

"Whoosh!"

A shadow suddenly flashed past Levi’s face, stabbing directly into his skull and piercing out back of his skull.

The tiny four-legged snake-like beast landed on a tree behind Levi, looking quite confused. It had clearly grabbed through the enemy but why didn’t feel any resistance?

It was an afterimage!

By the time it realized this, it was far too late.

The air exploded, causing piercing shockwave as a blade sliced through the monster’s neck, severing its body in half as it head somersaulted in the air and landed on the ground.

The blade attack didn’t stop even after killing the beast. Instead, it continued on its path, slashing at the three-meters tall tree like a hit knife cutting through cheese.

The massive tree landed heavily on the ground.

That wasn’t all, the wind generated from the blade struck another tree behind the first tree, instantly severing it in half!

"Crunch!" "Crunch!" "Boom!"

The tree also collapsed.

"So strong!"

Levi glanced at the fallen tree in surprise then at the sword in his hand. 10 x 10 =100. The attack he had released just now has about 100 stats of strength behind it!

"Hahaha! Let’s fucking go!"
