I Become Master of Danger Zones as Incubus With Mastery In Genetic-Chapter 807 - 227
'Annoying.' He thought, the illusion being the seventh one he had fallen for. Unfortunately, the Witches casting it had casted illusion to other Witches, resulting in the Witches to constantly changing appearance.
The one he thought to be the one behind the plants growing around him turned out to be the Alchemist, who immediately threw an explosive potion in his direction.
He could block it, but decided to not do so out of fear of unnecessary injuries.
'This is slowly getting out of hand.' The fight, one he thought to be difficult, had turned out to be even harder than he thought.
Not just because of the Magic Circle weakening him, but because he had expected he would be fighting the Ancient Earth Elemental along with his fellow S-rankers.
As he fought the Witches, dodging another Earth Spike aimed to his gut, he wondered how his fellow S-rankers were doing.

Marius tiled his head to the left, dodging a Mana Bolt to the face. Despite being weakened severely by the Magic Circle, the leader of Ravus Royal Guard did not like he was being pressured.
Instead, it was his adversaries that looked like they were the one that gone through the grinder.
The tallest blonde Witch was the one that looked the worst, sporting gashes on her arms, with scratches riddling down her legs. Her black robes torn, as her luscious blonde locks becoming even more unkempt the longer the fight went on.
Yet, even though he was winning, the Royal Guard Captain did not look too happy about it. He did not have any proof, except for his instinct, that the Witches he was fighting were holding back for some reason.
Why, he had no idea, but he didn't think it will be good for him.
Aside from his current situation, Marius also worried for his fellow S-rankers. While he believed the stronger Witches were the one he was facing, he could be wrong, and the weaker S-rankers could be fighting stronger Witches.
For the record, they could handle even 100 Elder Witches with ease. Normally that is. The situation they were going through was anything but normal.
"Raarrgghh!" a growl distract him of his thought as the brunette Witch, one that have the biggest muscle among the Witches, leap towards him, her hands morphed into a large claw.
Marius easily blocked the strike, before delivering a slash on her unprotected stomach. Unfortunately, the blow was deflected as the leader casted a Mana Barrier on the brunette, saving her in the process.
As the brunette jumped to safety, Marius narrowed his eyes at the blonde Witch.
'She is the strongest and the sole reason why they didn't suffer any losses so far.'
If he wanted to defeat and kill the group of Witches, the Captain needed to kill the blonde first. When she fell, it would be easier to kill the rest.
His mind made up, Marius gripped his sword tighter, as a plan formed inside his head.

Elna kept a calm expression even though his thought was anything but calm.
'This is getting annoying.' His opponents were not particularly strong. However, they were very good in aggravating him.
The black-haired one would create tendrils of shadow before sending them to wrap around his ankles, forcing his attention to the nuisance if he didn't want to fall and be beaten to death.
When he cut the tendrils, Elna would look at the Witches, only for a bright light to shine on his face, blinding him temporarily.
When he was blinded, the Captain of Ravus Kingdom's most prestigious knightly order would slash haphazardly around himself, just to find himself stepping on a thin layer of ice, resulting in him almost falling if not for his instinct.
When he was distracted by the three nuisances, the purple-haired Witch and white-haired Witch would attack him. One would send in streams of fireball directly to his face while the other would swing her staff at him, sending a streak of lightning, forcing Elna to defend himself as best as he could.
Fortunately, his sword was strong enough to block the incoming lightning, while his Aura was enough to mitigate the sensation from the Fire Beam.
However, with how things were going, sooner than later, Elna would be felled by anyone of the Witches.
'I need to think of ways to escape this trap!' He thought, desperately searching for a way out. Yet, no matter what he was trying to do, the Witches did their best to be as horrid as a nuisance as possible. Forcing the Knight Captain to concentrate more on surviving than escaping.
'I can only hope one of them managed to escape first.'

While Furim was fighting for his life, he noticed the weakening effect plateaued. Now, his strength no longer dropped, though his power remained as it was.
On one hand, it improved the odds of defeating the Witches, as he could feel he was strong enough to defeat 10 ordinary A-rankers. On the other hands, the Witches clearly no ordinary A-rankers, confident enough in their chances of killing an S-ranker.
To win, he needed to find the right moment to strike, while the Witches maintained the current draw between them.
As he thought of any ways to defeat the Witches, or at least escape, he batted away a boulder thrown at him, casually slapped an illusion that get to close, and stepped on a growing plant, crushing it before it could grow into something that would inconvenience him even more.
He even get the opportunity to take down one of the Witches, as she get to close, and Furim managed to detect the subtle different between illusion and someone with illusion casted on them. frёeωebɳovel.com
Unfortunately, the Witch sensed him at the last second and dodged the strike, saving her life in process while making his difficult in return.
Though, as he thought of ways to defeat the Witches, Furim realized, he would also need to defeat the Elder Earth Elemental, and whoever behind the Witches, as he didn't think that the Elemental is smart enough to plan all this.
