I Become the Strongest with Infinite Skills Level-Chapter 321: War of The Eastern Lion 2
They passed several enemy cities that had already been destroyed and sabotaged, carefully avoiding the attack range of the absolute defensive magic.
Seven hours from the canyon’s location, Ethan raised his clenched hand, signaling for his troops to stop.
"What is it?" Yuna asked.
Ethan’s eyes caught sight of enemy servants flying in the sky, but they were not heading toward the eastern alliance forces.
They were flying north, preparing to fight enemy servants from the archipelago region.
That deployment indicated that the intensity of servant battles was still ongoing. This could become an advantage for the alliance forces.
"Enemy servants are flying north to attack. I suspect the servant battle is still happening."
"If their servants are busy fighting enemy servants, we can take advantage of their blind spot."
Yuna nodded in understanding. Ethan turned around and explained his plan.
"Activate your strongest servants!" Ethan ordered firmly.
All alliance team members complied, activating their servants into aggressive mode. Multicolored lights shone brightly according to their elemental affinities.
"Sera! Lyodra!"
Ethan immediately activated two of his servants.
[Mode: Aggressive Soul Servant]
[1. Seraphelis | Lv. 500 | SSS-Rank | Passive → Aggressive | 10000 MP]
[2. Lyodra Vulkanis | Lv. 10 | S-Rank | Passive → Aggressive | 2500 MP]
Two lights shone before Ethan, a golden glow from Seraphelis and a red glow from Lyodra. Their chibi forms floated forward and transformed into adult female figures.
Yuna gasped. She had no idea what kind of servant Seraphelis was, but she had to be extraordinary for Ethan to entrust the Aerial Invasion to her.
"You brought quite a crowd, Ethan," Sera said.
"What? Your servant can talk?!" Yuna exclaimed. Ethan ignored her reaction.
Ethan looked at Sera. "A great war is happening. Your target is to destroy all enemy servants in the sky."
"Clear the sky of every enemy servant!"
"I understand. Leave it to me," Sera replied.
"You will lead the servant forces behind you. They will obey your commands."
Sera turned her head and saw dozens of servants hovering in the sky. Her excitement surged. She was determined to prove to Ethan that she could lead the servant forces well.
"You may go now."
She nodded and soared into the sky, followed by dozens of servants behind her. Most of them were fire and wind element servants.
Only Sera was a light element servant, because her light power could be used offensively.
Everyone watched as dozens of servants flew toward the battlefield. Their fighting spirit rose as they wondered how this war would end.
Ethan turned forward and advanced, leading the troops. "Move out!"
The entire army resumed marching in neat formation. The regional border lay ahead, about thirty minutes away.
As they advanced, massive explosions erupted in the sky before them. Red and gold lights clashed together, a sign that the Aerial Invasion had begun.
"It seems the servants have started fighting," Yuna said.
Ethan smiled. "That’s good. With Sera there, the enemy servants won’t stand a chance."
Yuna narrowed her eyes, still curious about Sera’s true identity. Ethan’s confidence in her abilities was absolute.
Ethan halted once more. The terrain ahead had changed. The ground shifted from grass to white sand.
In the distance, he saw explosions on land. The war was still ongoing.
"Take siege positions. Stay alert and be ready!"
Ethan’s voice rang out. All unit commanders began positioning their forces until the entire army formed a semicircle.
Their sole focus was to strike if the enemy decided to retreat from the battlefield.
Ethan and Yuna remained mounted at the very front of the alliance soldiers.
The tension was palpable. Ethan would only deploy his entire force if he sensed a favorable opportunity.
Not long after, a servant flew from the north toward the south. All unit commanders readied themselves, but Ethan raised his hand, calming them.
The female servant approached and handed Ethan a piece of paper. He took it and read the contents.
The letter was clearly from Arthur, the team leader of Redemption Sword. Arthur was proposing cooperation.
"What is it?" Yuna asked.
"An offer of cooperation."
"Cooperation? In the middle of a war? That’s obviously a trick."
Ethan nodded and returned the letter to the servant. "We will not cooperate under any circumstances."
The servant nodded and flew back north to deliver Ethan’s response to Arthur and the others.
Thirty minutes after the servant left, Ethan saw enemy city soldiers running south. They were clearly troops from the Blood Ink River Alliance.
"They’re attacking."
Ethan extended his hand, summoning Bloodblade Ashura into his grasp. The moment he held it, his appearance changed, and a surge of power erupted.
[Mode Ashura Activated]
"They’re cornered!"
"Unit 3, 7, and 9 attack them!" Ethan commanded.
Those units belonged to LionArk. Hearing Ethan’s order, they charged forward to confront the enemy soldiers rushing south.
Battle erupted between the three LionArk units and the enemy forces. With superior numbers, the enemy troops were decisively crushed. 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚
Several enemy team members were defeated. Some were killed, while others surrendered. Many chose to surrender.
The battle lasted less than fifteen minutes. The commander of Unit 7 approached Ethan, bringing seven captured enemy team members who had surrendered.
"They surrendered, Sir Ethan."
Ethan stared ahead coldly, then ordered the units to withdraw and treat their wounds.
The seven enemy team members turned and saw Yuna of Sacred Hall standing beside Ethan.
"It feels good to finally make peace with an enemy," one of them said.
"What do you mean?" Yuna asked.
"Redemption Sword and Scavenger wouldn’t let us leave the alliance. Our guild is only Rank A. We’re powerless against them."
"Sacred Hall is different. You have the strength to oppose Redemption Sword."
Ethan narrowed his eyes. "Don’t blame Sacred Hall’s rank. Blame yourselves for not daring to make a decision."
"Tell your city leader this. I will let all of you live if you are willing to hand over your core crystals."
"What about our guild in the game world?" they asked.
Ethan fell silent for a moment, understanding their dilemma. Relocating a city required enormous resources. A Rank A guild clearly could not afford that.
"The Eastern Plains are ready to accept you. However, since you come from our enemy alliance, you will be placed in Seacrest."
"Sell your city and purchase territory in Seacrest. There, you can start over from the beginning."
They fell silent, glancing at one another. "Will you guarantee our safety?"
"I am the Leader of the Eastern Alliance. My duty is to protect everyone in the eastern plains."
"I guarantee your guild’s safety. I swear it before all members of my alliance."
Tempted by Ethan’s offer, they immediately contacted their city leader.
In their view, LionArk and the Eastern Alliance might be the best solution to save them from the looming destruction threatened by Redemption Sword.
"Our city leader is ready to negotiate. He will come here and hand over all our core crystals."
