I can expand my MAGIC ENDLESSLY?!-Chapter 33: Strange Elve
Kairos sat down patiently waiting for the results surrounding him were a few others from other exam sections.
Each year, Owsdin Academy accepted as many applicants as it could. This year, the numbers were higher.
Rows of waiting rooms had been set up, dozens of them, just to hold everyone. Sitting here means entering the academy! And be part of Class B at the academy.
The Owsdin Academy is a powerhouse. But despite that, the resource it gets is limited. As a result, it chooses the best of the best, dividing them into two classes.
Class A—the elite. Those who displayed exceptional talent, skill, and potential long before, the academy scouts them on their own.
Class B—the rest. Talented, yes, but not yet at the level of Class A.
They would train, improve, and compete against each other to prove themselves worthy of advancement by getting a spot in Class A or by challenging someone in Class A to get the spot.
Thus, as a result, the majority that get into the academy are all too exceptional and mostly nobles because of how well trained they already are from a very young age.
Resulting in the number of commoners and half nobles being low, and among them all he wasn’t sure what to think of that particular person.
Not far from him, a figure with ash-brown hair and golden pupils sat quietly, almost fading into the background.
But that was the odd thing considering her ears, pointy ears were picking out of hair. Indicating she’s an elf, a half-elf.
All elves were rich and arrogant, even half-elves. Yet she wore shabby clothes, her feet nervously tapping the ground.
As he was looking, she randomly glanced at him. Her calm expression changed the next moment, her eyes widening a little.
Kairos frowned, thinking, "Why is she looking at him, and like that, no less?" Maybe someone behind?
He looked behind, but he saw none that stood out like that for that kind of reaction. He frowned but chose to ignore it.
But a moment later, she herself approached, sitting down beside him. "Umm, I’m Tressa. What about you?"
Kairos frowned.
Kairos frowned and didn’t respond, thinking, "Why is she sitting beside me?" He never met an elf in this life.
Then he thought of something. What he was wearing was a plain black robe, even didn’t put on the iron claws his father gave him not to draw attention with those. In conclusion, he looked nothing like that of a noble. Maybe to her he seemed approachable?
"I’m Kairos," hiding his last name.
She nodded, staying still, gasping for her clothes.
That made Kairos sure, what he thought was correct, unknowing that the person approached him knowing everything. In her mind,
"I finally meet someone! From the story. A supporting character at that!’ She cast a glance at his face.
"Kyaa, he’s more handsome than the story portrayed." She then looked at the sword he was carrying.
Frowning before feeling pure bliss. "He’s really so cute! He doesn’t know how to wield one, but to put on an imitation, he brought a sword with him."
She slapped herself, causing Kairos to flinch.
’Calm down, calm down, Teresa. This was just the beginning!. You have to control your emotions! And support! The main characters!’
She clenched her fists. This was it. The moment she can actually be help to the main characters! It is finally here. Still, it felt unreal to her. The very fact that she’s in the same book she loved so much! The very world.
She’s a person from Earth, a normal trainee civil engineer, and a third-year academy student.
She liked to read all kinds of stuff, from anime to comics, and then ended up reading fiction novels.
And certain to see what boys actually read, she ended up picking up a male lead novel, "The Conquest of Lower Plains," and was completely hooked with the story and the world-building of the story. 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦
And on a certain unfortunate and fortunate day as she was crossing the road. A small truck slammed into her! Killing her.
But that wasn’t the end of her story! She found herself standing in a white zone with two other people who looked exactly like the characters described in fiction.
And slowly more truth unfolded! She couldn’t see the actual beings.
One of them talked about itself as the Arcon of Life and Death!. She was tasked to aid someone named Nathen, who was known as the former emperor! Ray owsris!
She was excited just by hearing that. That was the main character of the novel she loved the most! Did that mean she would be in the same exciting world that is full of magic and technology?
But it wasn’t as simple as it was, the other two people also were tasked with something by the other two beings, the exact opposite of her task!. They weren’t told to aid the main character but rather to kill him!
And now here she is, born as an elf of a small merchant house located in the Valdas kingdom. And here at the Owsdin Academy! The actual hub where the story will start!.
"The Conquest of Lower Plains" is a novel surrounding the fallen emperor Ray Owsris, who died venturing out the walls that sealed their world and was then reborn as a prince at the smallest kingdom of Lumina.
The story starts right here, at the Academy of Owsdin, and exactly this year! That’s why she is here to get into the story as fast as possible.
But she didn’t think of meeting one of the supporting character so fast! Kairos nozvan! A cowardly, weak character whom the main character will raise into a powerful mage!.
"It wasn’t specified how Kairos gets in the academy." She thought and realized.
"It seemed he still wasn’t that weak and admitted to the academy himself somehow."
The more she thought about it, the more she found it cute, in the story he was portrayed as a weak, handsome boy who tried to act tough.
While she was having these thoughts, Kairos, who was sitting beside her, couldn’t help but feel what kind of mess he introduced himself to.
At first he thought she was nervous, but from time to time this person was smiling and clenching her fists.
Time slowly passed before, and a moment later a cadet came.
"With this the test concluded! I welcome you to the Owsdin Academy." The cadet spoke, eyeing everyone before continuing.
"Please follow me then. The orientation will start soon. But before that..." He stopped speaking, clasping his hands before.
More cadets showed up, handing them a small white metallic badge.
"From this moment onward, that badge is your identity."
He paused for a second. Then continuing.
"Wear it at all times within academy grounds. Present it when requested by faculty, guards, or administrative staff."
"Understand this clearly you are no longer applicants."
"You are students of Owsdin Academy." Saying that the cadet turned around.
"Now follow me. The professors are waiting to welcome you."
