Chapter 50: clearance of Flith

Moments passed as he wrote things down carefully. He had forgotten to bring the other unfinished sigils, the ones he had drawn when his mana signature awakened. But he still wrote down the remaining ones.

Sigil of solidness : Solidifies Elemental esscense

Sigil of nullification : Gives Magic piercing traits

Sigil of Tether: Connects more then one source to the caster.

He hide the other one that showed letters. No recorded sigils or have he ever heard them containing actual words. He doesn’t know what it was. So he choose to be careful.

But he did wrote down anything related to his Families Mana circulation technique.

What he had gasped so far and during the Monster Surge. it increases mana flow for some time and increases mana stress on the body.

Kairos only practiced that a few times so he wasn’t sure about it’s actual use case. But he wasn’t worried.

The bloodline codex within the sigils library has everything. As a nozvan he would be able to access more informations.

He pondered for a moment before Shaked his head. ’Theres no need for me to mention one cut swordsmanship considering Golems aura would be hidden too’

As for elements he wrote down his main ones.

Shadow element

Red lightning

As for his infinity element he choose to keep it hidden. Only mentioning it’s not reactive in any ways.

Revising everything is done and he mentioned everything that he was asked.

He handed down the paper. Theon gave it a glance.

Amazed, seeing the element shadow there, along with red lightning. As for the odd element...

"Is the odd element completely useless to you?"

Kairos nodded. "I tried using it in many ways, but it’s unresponsive."

"It’s alright. Shadow and red lightning are strong elements."

Kairos nodded hearing that, What he said was true even putting aside his infinity. Shadow element was a rare element. And what he saw during the monster surge.

His red lightening element is also quite strong.

"Hmm, I have to, Fetch some more informations from the library. Spacialy your Families mana circulation technique"

Theon spoke before looking at him, pondering.

"Yeah let’s start tomorrow your actual lessons. And Don’t forgot to bring those unfinished sigils."

"I will check them out with others if I can find some of them or not."

"I would really appreciate that, Sir Theon" Kairos uttered bowing down a little. He bowed down not just for this fact but rather what he gained today from him. 𝑓𝘳𝘦𝑒𝑤𝑒𝘣𝘯ℴ𝘷𝘦𝓁.𝑐𝑜𝑚

Theon laughed seeing him like that. He was pleased with him. To him, Kairos didn’t seem arrogant, but rather humble and well behaved. He felt he would be able to teach him well.

"It’s alright. That’s the least I could do."

"Come, let’s eat. From now on, we’ll have our meals together."

"After all, we’ll be meeting here at the same time every day."

Kairos nodded, He was also hungry. That would be a nice to have a good big meal not like the one he had today with Leia and others.

Seeing him pause for a bit, Theon said, "Hah, don’t worry. I can at least cover that. Come, let’s go."

"You’d like some meat?"

Kairos gave a nod. "Yes, Master Theon."

"Nice. Kids your age should eat a lot of meat. Come, I know a good place around the corner. It’s cheap too."

"Yes, Master Theon."

Master Theon led him to a small tavern. Its logo featured a pair of bull horns, and above the door hung a sign, [The Broken Horn Inn]

Kairos nodded, appreciating him. He does know where to find the best meat.

After a while, they found an empty seat. Soon enough, a huge bowl of meat was served before them, accompanied by some soft, warm booze.

Kairos immediately took a huge chunk and bit down. Yes! This is how a meal should be.

Theon chuckled at the sight of him eating like that. He didn’t have to worry about manners, and he enjoyed it too.

--------

Far away from the bustling crowd at the corner of the city, a figure could be seen in dark black robes.

Face hidden beneath the hanging hood, Siting on the roof, gazing down at the city below and up at the blue moon.

"This is just the start. I have to help them as fast as I can," the figure muttered.

"Nathan, you don’t care about the filth of Ows City now, but later on, it will be something you won’t be able to ignore."

As the wind blew, The hood dropped down revealing pointy pointy ears face framed by silver ash hair.

If Kairos could see her, he would instantly recognize her,It was none other than the odd elf friend he had made.

Teresa!

Her face narrowed as she considered the current situation.

"The story I read is bound to change because of us. If so, I’d rather mess it up as much as I can now"

Kairos was a great example. Rosa, the heroine, and Kairos were characters who weren’t supposed to meet yet.

But now they were, and it seemed they were very close too. The story had changed a little. But not completely yet.

She had to take advantage of that before it changes completely. She needed to get stronger, and fast too.

She placed a hand on her face. Then something magical happened. Instantly, her hair changed from ash silver to deep blond.

Something detached from her face, it was a plain white mask, revealing a completely different face from before.

Her eyes shone bright gold, and her skin was far smoother than before. She appeared taller, more imposing also little bit taller.

That was her real face! She glanced at the mask and couldn’t help but feel just how useful it was.

The mask she was holding was one of the cheats Nathan would have gotten but she, knowing the story, had taken it for herself.

It was a mask of unknown origin, capable of changing not just someone’s face, but their entire being, height, facial structure, even mana signature.

She couldn’t help but marvel at how effective it was. Originally, it was meant to be acquired later, and its effect was said to be so perfect that even Nathan himself couldn’t tell the difference

And now she infiltrated the academy, hiding her real looks, voice, and mana signature so well that she even fooled the Eyes of Light, Nathan has , which could perceive mana fluctuations very easily.

She felt like it had been worth getting. She put the mask back on, restoring her appearance to what it had been before.

She stood still, gazing at the city. She didnt have the strength yet to change anything, no matter how well she knew the dark truths about the guilds and factions.

But with this, she could do something...something very interesting.

A smile spread across her face. "Misinformation. I will make them fight each other."

Uttering that, she crorouched hoping onto another roof with unnatural agility. Before dropping down blending with the crowd.
