I Can Extract and Resurrect the Dead!-Chapter 54: One Minute
’Senior Cang Humao, please save me if something goes wrong.’
Kael became nervous as he had never expected that they would go this far after their identities had been exposed. He thought that they would at least ask him first about how he knew their identities.
The tiger cub only slapped Kael’s head softly, feeling annoyed that Kael disturbed him again.
Princess Sylvia narrowed her eyes and asked Kael in a deep voice, "How do you know our true identity?"
Kael waved his hand dismissively. "At first, I honestly didn’t know about it. But I do know that there are strong people here. That’s why I looked in your direction before."
He then continued, "At that time, I was just fascinated by the fact that someone was hiding her identity even though she’s extremely strong and wouldn’t have any problem in this lowly place. That’s why I decided to take a closer look at you later since I was curious about your identity."
"Coincidentally, before I went here, I noticed that your younger sister was looking at me, and I immediately knew about your identity at that moment."
Kael explained slowly with a smile, thinking that this must be the most reasonable excuse he had come up with.
However, he missed one crucial thing, and this just made them become more wary of him instead.
"Who are you? How do you know her when she has never even stepped out of the house?" Princess Sylvia deepened her frown and stared at Kael with a cold expression.
’Fuck! How do I know that this little princess has never left the house?! I mean, how the fuck is it that there’s someone who has lived for 16 years but has never left their house and seen the world?’ Kael cursed himself in his heart, as he had never expected this situation.
He then immediately used his brain to the fullest for a second before sighing deeply since he couldn’t find any reason that would make sense at this point.
"Alright, you got me," Kael said with a bitter smile while raising both hands. "But listen to me first, okay? Let’s not use violence and talk with a clear mind."
As Kael said that, the middle-aged man who had vanished suddenly appeared and looked at Princess Sylvia, shaking his head slowly. "There’s no one in the surroundings."
Princess Sylvia then nodded at him and looked at Kael coldly. "I will give you only one minute."
"This... Would you believe me if I said that I really can’t tell you the reason why I know your identity for some reason?" Kael scratched his head, thinking to himself that there was no way he would reveal the fact he could even check their information fully.
"No!"
"Alright then, how about this? Listen to me first, okay?"
"52 seconds left."
Sigh!
Kael sighed and explained, "I really meant it when I asked you to invest in me because I need your support and protection to the fullest since I’m really worth that much."
He then continued, "As for how I know your identity, I really can’t tell you about it, but what I can tell you is that you will know that I don’t have any malicious intentions after I prove my strength to you and reveal my identity at that time."
Kael paused for a second before speaking with a serious expression. "However, let me say this first. If I really reveal my full capability and identity, I don’t think that you could even afford to protect me at that time."
"That’s why I only mentioned to you that I’m really the strongest when it comes to those of the same rank, and it was actually me being too humble since I don’t want to reveal my full strength and identity." Kael continued with a smile and shrugged his shoulders casually.
Princess Sylvia looked at Kael silently for a few seconds, while the girl in front of her seemed to be angry at Kael when he mentioned that he was the strongest of the same rank.
He even mentioned that with that arrogant statement, he was already humbling himself as if it was nothing for him. This pissed her off since she was at the peak 1st Echelon Rank, and when Kael mentioned it, he looked at her as if mocking her right in front of her face.
Princess Sylvia then asked with a calm expression, "Let’s put aside whether what you said was the truth or not."
"If what you said is true, why do you want me to invest in you? What’s your reason? You do know that if you’re really that strong, other top factions would definitely be more than happy to become your backer and protect you with all their strength, right?" Princess Sylvia tapped her fingers on the table and looked at Kael, seemingly examining him fully from his body language.
"Why? It’s actually simple. If you’re not here, I honestly don’t even want to bother myself to look for you since I’m going to take the academy admissions in a few days anyway. As for why I asked you to invest in me, it was because I’m in need of one treasure, and you should be able to give it to me since it’s actually not that precious anyway," Kael answered with a chuckle. 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎
"You’re going to take the academy admissions? Why?" Princess Sylvia was confused, as she really couldn’t understand what the hell was going on at the moment.
"Oh, I forgot to mention that I could be considered new in this world. That’s why I was genuine in asking you to be my backer since I don’t have one at the moment," Kael explained with a smile.
"You’ve just arrived in this main world? Which world are you from? Who told you about my location?" Princess Sylvia asked with a cold expression.
"Don’t worry about it; there’s no one who told me about it, and as I said, I can’t tell you the reason why I know your true identity." Kael somehow started to become impatient as this woman asked too much.
He then continued, "Anyway... After I prove my worth to you, can you please give me the treasure that I want? It’s a treasure that could heal someone’s disability so that they could walk again."
