"That was close... How could a mere spiritual imprint use a Spiritual Domain ability?" Leyvi recalled the terrifying power of the domain, a cold shiver lingering in his bones.

The moment his body was affected by the decay, his physical strength had vanished almost instantly. His flesh had failed him completely. Thankfully, his spiritual pressure was powerful enough to erase that thing before it finished him off.

Leyvi wondered what kind of domain he would want to create if he were to reach the Spiritual Domain Realm in the future. To make a domain truly effective, it had to be something he was deeply familiar with. The more familiar it is, the more potent it would be.

Anda would probably want me to make a harem domain, he thought with a mental sigh. Any girl affected by it would become love-struck, just like Rose.

He immediately shook his head. Please, no. That would be far too much trouble.

He pushed the topic aside for now.

"Based on the things it showed me, it must have been someone from the outside world, like Alita," Leyvi mused, still lying flat on his back on the cool ground.

From the Fantylia incident back then, he had learned about remnant Nascent Souls. Fallen cultivators at the Nascent Soul Realm could leave behind remnants that, under the right conditions, could gain sentience and become their own entities.

But he had not expected that even a spiritual imprint could do the same.

Now Leyvi could not help but think that under the right circumstances, maybe anything could become sentient.

So far, he had seen fire, rocks, a meteoric rock, and now a spiritual imprint, all originally non-living things, awaken to consciousness. If he remembered correctly, even Alita was supposed to have been an airship program that somehow gained sentience.

His mouth twitched. Thinking about it made him feel agitated all over again. Danger truly could come from anywhere, at any time. What if, when they brought the Spiritual Vein in the future, Alita decided to reveal her true intentions? What if she had been waiting all along?

Leyvi frowned deeply. He didn't like this constant feeling of doubt, this need to question everyone and everything. But it couldn't be helped. The more people he met, the clearer the true nature of the world and the beings in it became. It was hard to meet a sincere person.

He then looked at the empty bottles scattered on the ground.

"Sigh... My Major Healing Elixirs are becoming less and less. If they run out, that would be real trouble." Leyvi lamented, and his mind began to wander.

He had no idea how long his supply would last if incidents like this kept happening. Even Anda could not make more right now. Several key ingredients for the elixirs came from specific animals, not plants.

If only the elixirs were made purely from plant-based ingredients. Then Lilian could have taken care of everything.

"If only an animal husbandry talent could pop out," Leyvi muttered. "I could let one of the ladies become a farm girl and take care of animal ingredients."

Then his eyes widened.

"Oh right, the ladies!"

He stood up instantly to check on them.

But the moment he moved, a cold breeze brushed against his skin in places it really should not.

"What the heck!" Leyvi froze. "I forgot my outfit decayed too!"

He immediately stored the mask away, pulled out another identical outfit, and dressed himself at lightning speed.

Leyvi frowned. Even his outfits were consumables now. If those ran out too, he would be forced to wear random clothing that did not fit his image at all.

Support creative writers by reading their stories on Royal Road, not stolen versions.

Thankfully, the ladies were still unconscious.

Rose and Ava might have overreacted if they saw him like that, though each in a totally different way, of course.

He then summoned his invisible hands and carefully lifted the unconscious women, intending to bring them to a safer, more secluded place first. The commotion here might attract unwanted attention.

He was not sure how long they would remain unconscious. More importantly, they had been injured by a strong mental attack. It was possible the assault had damaged their Sea of Consciousness.

It was not until a full day later that the ladies began to regain consciousness.

The first one to stir was Lily.

She sat up abruptly, alert and confused. "You! What did you do to me?"

She immediately inspected her body from head to toe. After confirming that she was still pure, she let out a long, relieved sigh.

Leyvi's mouth twitched.

What the heck, Lady! Don't start accusing me randomly!

"Check your Sea of Consciousness. See whether it is fine or not. You were attacked by a mental attack, remember?" Leyvi instructed.

Lily blinked. Then the memory of what happened rushed back to her.

"My Sea of Consciousness is fine. I am a formation expert. My mental defense is better than normal cultivators because of the visualization technique we practice." Lily replied after checking internally.

"Is that so? No wonder you woke up earlier than the others," Leyvi nodded.

"What happened to whatever the thing that attacked us?" Lily asked.

She was curious how they had survived that. Its power had been far beyond anything they could currently handle.

"Oh. I used my trump card to extinguish it. You ladies should compensate me. I lost a valuable treasure to save us all," Leyvi lied smoothly.

It was far more convenient than explaining that his own spiritual pressure had destroyed it. Even he had been surprised by how potent his spiritual power had become in that moment.

"A man asking for compensation from a lady. Are you not ashamed of yourself as a man?" Lily said while pouting.

"I am a married man. I have a whole family to feed. I cannot go around saving everyone using my treasures without some form of compensation," Leyvi joked, though he kept his expression perfectly straight.

"Hmph, ask the Holy Maiden for it when she wakes up, then," Lily turned the other way, a slight huff in her tone.

A day later, Rose finally woke up.

Similar to Lily, she was confused at first and then immediately inspected her body.

However, unlike Lily, she was not relieved. Instead, she looked genuinely disappointed.

"Darling, why did you not take advantage of me while I was unconscious? Lady Ava was unconscious too. She could not have stopped you."

Damn! This girl is crazy! Why would I ever do that? Leyvi cursed inwardly.

"Holy Maiden, do you know what consent is?" Leyvi began, launching into a firm but patient lecture about its importance.

"If that is the case, then I allow Darling to do whatever you want with my body, even if I am unconscious. I belong to you after all. Fufufu~" Rose gave her permission with a dreamy, earnest smile.

Leyvi was speechless. He had not expected his usual consent argument to be reversed so completely.

Taking advantage of Ava still being unconscious, Rose became even more lovey-dovey with him, initiating more physical contact and clinging to his arm.

He was mentally exhausted from the ordeal, so he simply let her be, too tired to protest further.

Half a day later, Liyan and Ava finally regained consciousness around the same time. Rose immediately let go of Leyvi, smoothing her robes and composing herself.

Unlike Lily and Rose, however, Liyan and Ava had suffered actual injuries to their Sea of Consciousness from the mental attack. A sharp, stabbing pain flared whenever they tried to use their spiritual sense.

Seeing their distress, Leyvi retrieved the Legendary Bamboo Shoot he had obtained from the Bamboo Forest, the same kind Lapin had once given Anda to heal her damaged Sea of Consciousness.

Ava took it without hesitation, trusting his judgment completely.

But Liyan, at first, declined. She did not trust Leyvi. She had never heard of such a medicine, and her suspicions ran deep.

Healing the Sea of Consciousness immediately? Who would believe that? Even the finest healing alchemy products for such injuries would take at least a week to fully recover.

But of course, Rose immediately came to Leyvi's defense, insisting that her beloved would never lie about something so important. She ordered Liyan to eat the bamboo shoot, leaving no room for objection.

So Liyan could only consume it unwillingly, bound by her Holy Maiden's command.

And to her great surprise, the bamboo shoot truly did heal her Sea of Consciousness with startling speed. It soothed her mind, washed away the lingering pain, and brought a newfound mental clarity. Furthermore, her spiritual sense range expanded considerably, becoming sharper and more precise than before. It was absolutely amazing.

"Fufufu~ What did I say? My Darling is the best man in the world. You should apologize for ever doubting him. Such an incredible, unknown treasure, and he gave it to you without a second thought. If it were me, I wouldn't have given it to you at all. I would have let you heal slowly," Rose bragged proudly on Leyvi's behalf.

Liyan fell silent.

For the first time, doubt crept into her thoughts. Could everything the Holy Maiden said actually be true?

"Now spread your legs for Darling and show your devotion!" Rose declared brightly.

Leyvi almost stumbled where he stood. This Pink Enchantress… did she have no other way to express loyalty besides offering their body?

The group continued their journey once more after the delay of several days.

This time, they encountered no further trouble and arrived safely at Princess Waniwani's territory without incident.
