I Can Program My Body?-Chapter 453: The Impossible Goal
"Since everyone is interested, then let me tell you what we want..."
Continuing his speech, Lorenzo began to list everything the Liberty Coalition Alliance needed.
It was not only materials, battleships, and manpower, but also political partnership and alliance.
The goal of the Liberty Alliance wasn’t just about territory, but to unify the Solaris Domain and create what they called freedom.
Listening to the various demands Lorenzo made, most couldn’t help but feel tempted.
Unlike the others who needed their wealth and foundation, they just had to cooperate with the Liberty Alliance.
Perhaps they could even profit a little.
As for the implications, they didn’t have much worry.
As long as they were careful, the Liberty Alliance shouldn’t cause much harm.
At worst, the leader of the Solaris Domain, the Solari Family, would be replaced.
Not having any direct conflict with the Liberty Alliance, most of them had already begun to draft what they would invest in.
Soon, not having anything more to say, Lorenzo went down from the stage, looking at Nash.
"Come on up. Let’s see what you have prepared." Elizabeth smiled, patting his back.
"I got it." Nash smiled helplessly.
Although he was confident about the Star Alliance, he couldn’t show it to everyone.
Not having anything to show, what could he even present?
He also didn’t want to be like those great teams that took too much share, so they basically didn’t have much control.
Instead of exchanging resources for land, Nash wanted to copy Eldora and Lorenzo, who offered political positions and alliances.
Soon, walking up the stage, all attention landed on him.
"I’m sure most of you already know me. But let me reintroduce myself, I’m Nash Navre, the leader of the Star Alliance." Pacing his words, Nash began.
"Our goal in this final stage of the Cosmic Competition is one thing to vie for the rulership of a Domain Territory!"
"A domain territory?! Are you insane?"
Vying for a domain territory not only meant they had to build a channel to the dark plane, but also compete with the Chronos Saint!
No matter how talented Nash was, even if he became a War God right here and now, they didn’t think it was possible.
Much less is the probability of success in establishing a dark plane channel.
Just the fact that a Chronos Saint was included in the Cosmic Competition meant it was already destined that they could only be background characters.
Looking at Nash, they felt like they were looking at a mentally challenged person.
It seemed everyone in the Star Alliance was insane.
Earlier, there was Elizabeth, who disregarded the wealth and fate of the entire Aqua Shelter for a man.
Now, it seemed their leader was more outrageous, vying for the rulership of a domain territory? Who does he think he is?
Even if you had such a dream, it’s better to keep it to yourself.
Who knew if someone were to pass the news to others?
Those wolves and jackals would be more than willing to do the Chronos Saint a favor and suppress this arrogant man!
"I’m not insane, I’m just stating our ambition," Nash smiled, seeing their expressions of fear and apprehension. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮
"This is no joking matter, Lord Nash..."
"I’m not joking either."
Although it was indeed outrageous, Nash didn’t think it was impossible.
Unlike the earlier stages of the cosmic competition, which would only take a year or three to complete, the final stage would take at least thousands of years.
Thousands of years! With his current progress, how far could he reach within such a span of time?
Nash was just over 32 years old, yet such time had already allowed him to catch up to these monstrous prodigies showered with resources from their youth.
So what about the Chronos Saint? Even if the Chronos Emperor appeared before him, Nash wouldn’t have any fear given enough time.
Unfortunately, they couldn’t fathom his potential and ambition.
"Regardless, the Star Alliance strives to compete for the top position in this Cosmic Competition. If you’re scared, you don’t have to invest anything." Nash said coldly.
"So domineering~" Camilla muttered with admiration.
"Indeed~" Elizabeth nodded.
Hearing their comments, everyone was speechless.
Your man here is committing a heinous act of suicide. Instead of persuading him, you dare to admire him?
"Lord Nash, how much equity of the Star Alliance are you willing to part with?" they asked, changing the topic.
"10%"
"10%?!"
Even the Solari Family and the Liberty Coalition Alliance, who were already filled with investment, were willing to give 30%, yet Nash, who didn’t have anything, only gave them 10%? Is he taking them for fools?
"I know I don’t have much to offer now. But I promise everyone who helps the Star Alliance will be our closest allies, having priority to all our products, territory development, and all future cooperation."
"That’s it?"
"Forgive us, Lord Nash, but isn’t that just an empty promise?"
Without any guarantee, just empty priority, non-existent products, and territory development that no one knew if it could even be successful.
Now they were certain Nash was trying to fool them!
Leveraging his popularity and the help of the Aqua Sector, does he think they would be foolish enough to follow?
"Whether it’s an empty promise or not, it’s up to you to decide." Nash smiled.
Although first impressions last, when it comes to interest, nothing is too late.
He knew that without some flair, he couldn’t attract anyone’s attention.
Unless he offered a bigger share, the investment he could receive would be pitiful.
Thus, instead of using land to tempt them, he planted a seed of expectation.
Although most knew it was impossible, that he was spouting nonsense, once he showed results one after another, this seed would bloom until he could harvest bountiful fruits.
The first step to this plan was a batch of new potion formulas. Having the ability to quickly produce an army was crucial for any conquest where time was of the essence.
Next was scientific accreditation. If he could become a tier 3 scientist in just a few years, it would give them a promise for the future.
Finally, a module system that could change the course of civilization.
A weapon that could change the course of how they fought, conquered, and developed!
