I Can Program My Body?-Chapter 482: Cosmic Conquest Simulation
As the members of the Star Alliance talked to each other, a small black ship suddenly entered Neon Planet.
"It’s Commander! He’s here!"
Although smaller than most battleships, because of its uncontrollable speed and flight path, they quickly recognized it.
Taking the ship on standby, Nash opened the hatch and looked below.
"Is everyone here?"
"They should be, Commander." Julius glanced at the device in his hands.
Each entrance to the planet was recorded and marked.
Seeing no one was missing, Julius confirmed everyone had arrived.
"Good."
Pausing, Nash began to assess everyone’s strength and progress.
It had been over 300 days since they returned to the Universe Plane.
Among the Void Generals, the majority had already advanced to the Void Venerate Rank.
Feeling the elements they had mastered had reached multiple numbers, he couldn’t help but nod.
"Not bad. It seems everyone’s been working hard."
Despite all the work and tasks they were assigned, their progress hadn’t stagnated.
In fact, without the threat of dark beasts, it seemed they were more relaxed, increasing their training speed.
Meanwhile, hearing his praise, everyone felt flattered.
Although they were hardworking, their fast progress was because of Nash.
From various elemental training resources, potions, and insights about elements he had provided, thanks to these, they had no bottlenecks and just needed to train to advance.
Feeling their rapid progress, they couldn’t be more thankful to him.
"Alright, I called everyone here to begin our unified simulated training."
"Simulated training?"
"Yes. I was able to borrow multiple virtual servers so we could simulate the battle that would take place in a wild void territory."
Besides the Nova Sector, other allied sectors and forces of the Star Alliance were willing to part with some of their virtual server capacity for them.
Having ample computational power, simulating a battle spanning multiple sectors was even possible.
"So that’s it!"
"I can’t believe this is possible. So the Virtual World could simulate a battle on this grand scale?"
"When do we begin, Commander? What do we do?"
"We can begin promptly. I’ll give everyone access to enter. As for your task, it’s to survive and fortify a single base!" Nash smiled.
The hardest part of the competition was the start.
Even with the Solaris Team taking the lead with a level 7 shelter, the difficulty of conquering their first territory was still on the borderline of death.
With unstable laws, space, and elements, coupled with countless dark beasts of various strengths, the instant they were transported, they would be swarmed.
To ensure their survival and smooth settlement, everyone needed to train their reaction ability to act on instinct.
Although Nash could command everyone, the place they could be transported might be too far from his range.
Without the ability to act on their own, they might die without even meeting the team.
Soon, explaining the dos and don’ts of the simulated war, Nash gave everyone an access link.
The simulated war was already available in the Virtual World. Nash just needed to pick the difficulty and randomize the environment.
"The stage is set. Let’s begin."
Walking back to the Void Pulse, Nash entered the virtual world link, directly connected to multiple virtual servers.
Suddenly, before he could react, Nash was thrown into a dark space filled with gloom.
[Cosmic Conquest Simulation:
Difficulty: 3 stars
Shelter: None
Battleships: None 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖
Mode: Single]
[Invulnerability: 10 Seconds]
[9 Seconds]
[8 Seconds]
[7 Seconds]
Reading through the panel, Nash quickly understood what was going on.
Before the simulation, Nash had merely chosen the difficulty, mode, and mission.
Without any more specificity, the shelter and battleship were all blank.
Looking at the space, besides the dark beasts coming from all directions, there was a lonely piece of land floating.
Scanning all the opponents, Nash quickly used the [Disguise Module System], transforming into a simple dark beast.
[Invulnerability Time Is Up]
[Mission: Clear the planet of tier 4-6 dark beasts.
Time: 30 days]
"Tsk, is this really only a three-star difficulty?"
Nash had set the difficulty based on the strength of the participants.
From 1-star difficulty for Void Generals, 2-star difficulty for Void Venerates, and 3-star difficulty for Void Marshals.
Confident in his strength, he naturally picked the highest to start.
Looking at the planet teeming with dark beasts, Nash slowly flew forward, careful not to attract other dark beasts.
Although the difficulty was only 3-star, it was only in regard to the mission.
In the space, Nash still felt the presence of tier 7 and tier 8 dark beasts.
Without a battleship or shelter to rely on, he could only be careful.
"I wonder how the others could pass this hurdle?"
Just going to the mission target was a challenge, much less clearing it.
Although the energy around was very chaotic, dulling the senses of every dark beast, a little slip-up would invite a swarm that could tear one to pieces.
Shaking off irrelevant thoughts, Nash landed silently on the planet near him.
Filled with darkness, he could only rely on his sharp senses to navigate.
Still careful about attracting those dark beasts in the space, Nash transformed into a wolf, then took the tier 4 severance knife into his mouth.
"It’s time to hunt!"
Being able to perfectly simulate every weapon, the severance knife was naturally included.
Swish~
Lunging toward all the tier 4-5 dark beasts he found, Nash began his killing spree.
Instead of 30 days, Nash planned to complete his mission in 3.
Not having much time, he only treated this simulation as a warm-up and experience.
---
Meanwhile, while Nash was on his killing spree, the members of the Star Alliance were in a death frenzy.
While 1-star difficulty summoned them straight to the planet, their mission was still to clear all tier 3-4 dark beasts in place.
Not having any disguise skills, the instant they fought, the fluctuation immediately caused them to be surrounded.
No matter how careful they were, it seemed as if they’d been marked by the dark beasts.
Dying one after another, they nearly cried and quit.
