I Can Program My Body?-Chapter 490: Journey Beyond the Domain
Feeling his anger about to flare up from Nash’s presumptuousness, a call from Elizabeth quickly woke him up.
"Uncle, let’s come inside."
Holding Nash’s hand as if it were natural, they proceed to go inside.
"You two..."
Feeling helpless, Hans could only follow behind their back.
Sitting in the living room, Nash began to ask how Elizabeth had been here.
"Besides being a little restrictive and boring, everything here is fine." Elizabeth shrugged.
From the food to the energy concentration, and even various services, everything was available.
"Oh? If that’s so, why are you here so early?"
"Hmph! It’s only you who’s so busy! We were notified to come here a week ago!" Elizabeth pouted.
"You were notified to come a week ago?"
It wasn’t that Nash was acting like a VIP, but he was only given the departure date of the ship, not the time he could come in.
"Well, most of the talents were notified to come here a week ago. For some special talents and scientists, like Eldora and the others, they didn’t have any set date."
"I see. Is everyone here then?"
"Everyone’s arrived. You’re the last one, I presume."
"Haha, but I’m not late, am I?"
"Yeah, yeah..." Rolling her eyes, they began to talk about other things, waiting for the ship to depart.
Mainly, Elizabeth began to ask Camilla about her thoughts on the wedding.
Planning to eavesdrop, the two pushed his face aside, as if they were hatching a secret plan.
"You can go back to the kitchen and cook! We’re hungry," Camilla asked like a queen.
"This princess is also hungry. I want a feast!"
"You two..."
"Go!"
"Alright." Nodding helplessly, Nash could only head back to the kitchen.
Hans, watching the whole charade, couldn’t help but chuckle.
As for Alexus, he’d already secluded himself in his room, training like he always had.
---
Soon, after some time, the silent beast of the void finally began to move.
Notifying everyone about their departure, Nash and the others quickly stopped their feast and stood up.
"Let’s get to the viewing station. I want to have a glimpse of what a wild void area is like!" Elizabeth invited.
Like the Wild Void Territory, a wild void area was an unconquered area without any presence of civilization.
"Then let’s go."
Also curious, Nash and Camilla quickly followed Elizabeth to the viewing station.
Arriving at the place, Nash saw all the other top talents and leaders of various teams in the cosmic competition also waiting in excitement.
Like a stargazing room, from the ground to the ceiling, everything was made of transparent material, allowing an unobstructed view of space.
"It seems this place has no worry about space displacement," Nash thought, remembering his experience riding the Nova Planetary Battleship.
Because of the acceleration the battleship needed to go through, each of them needed to hibernate in a special compartment until the ship stabilized.
However, unlike other ships, on the inter-dimensional ship, they could even stand in such a transparent area to take in the view of space.
"Nash, you’re also here," Eldora greeted.
"I’m also curious about what it looks like in a wild void space."
"I see. It’s certainly an experience."
Although he’d already seen it, Eldora couldn’t get enough.
Compared to the little land they’d conquered, it was like a drop of ocean compared to the wild, void area.
Unfortunately, it was teeming with dangerous dark beasts, ready to devour them.
Thus, besides being a wonder, it was like an abyss waiting to devour everything.
Greeting his other acquaintances, Nash, Camilla, and Elizabeth found their seats.
After a while, feeling a sudden jolt, they watched as space became distorted, as if being squeezed into one thin line.
Then from a thin line, the view began to expand, becoming clearer than ever.
Looking outside, as the ship’s speed stabilized, it seemed that every star and planet was within their reach.
All light and matter seemed to converge, bouncing off their eyes, giving them a glimpse of the entire universe!
Unfortunately, besides the territories in the Solaris Domain, all the others were blocked by fog.
Like a wall of mist, besides a few explosions and echoes, they could only feel the gloominess surrounding them.
"Is that the Wild Void Area?"
Filled with curiosity, everyone couldn’t help but turn toward the mist of chaos and mystery.
As time passed, unable to estimate the ship’s speed, the stars and planets of the Solaris Domain began to fade away.
Yet, looking at the mist-like fog, nothing seemed to change.
It was still so close, yet far away.
"The distance between the wild void area and the Solaris Domain is massive. Otherwise, given the distance, we would have long been destroyed," Eldora explained.
"So that’s it!"
"What about the dark beasts around here? Were they cleared before?" someone couldn’t help but ask.
"No, of course not. All the dark beasts that get close to the Solaris Domain are sucked into the Dark Plane. Otherwise, we would have long been doomed."
Imagining the endless dark beasts so close to their faces, even the powerful Solaris Capital might not survive.
At this moment, everyone quickly understood.
Their mission in the final stage of the cosmic competition was to establish a connection within the Dark Plane, not to kill all the dark beasts.
This meant, after establishing a connection, they didn’t need to do anything; all the dark beasts would be sucked into the Dark Plane!
A day later, as all colors from the stars faded away, the fog that blocked all mysteries finally got clearer.
Suddenly, like a submarine diving into an ocean rich with life, endless dark beasts began to surround the ship.
Looking like piles of snakes coiled around each other, they couldn’t help but tremble in fear.
It wasn’t just the number. Just a rough look, and they quickly noticed each dark beast was at least at the tier 7 realm.
"This—this..."
"How can we even stand up to this?"
"Are we going to be sent to death?!"
Remembering the venue of the cosmic competition was in the same wild void territory, they couldn’t help but fall into despair.
