I Can Program My Body?-Chapter 571: Into the Wild Void Area
Like an invisible balloon, it started small and then rapidly expanded, swallowing everything in the void.
Every planet, rock, ship, and the very energy in the air.
Before anyone could even react, a white light swallowed everything, and then they were gone.
"The final stage of the Cosmic Competition has begun."
Watching the null void space fall empty again, every powerhouse and organization that remained behind couldn’t help but feel a complex mix of emotions.
Thinking of all those promising prodigies, they began to look forward to the future.
"I wonder how high they’ll reach."
---
In the Unknown Wild Void Area.
Suddenly transported into an unfamiliar place, before Nash could even issue orders, the entire Star Alliance instantly shifted into gear.
Based on the various protocols drilled into them beforehand, they were ready for whatever came next.
"It’s still safe..."
Looking at the protective membrane wrapped around the entire Star Alliance Territory, everyone breathed a collective sigh of relief.
Although they had known they would be protected in the first year of the competition, the nerves were still there until they saw it with their own eyes.
"There’s no time to linger. Call every leader and general in the Star Alliance. I want everyone on Neon Planet."
---
Neon Planet Council Hall.
"Everyone’s here..."
Looking at every leader of the Star Alliance, from cosmic elites, army generals, and civilization managers, Nash welcomed everyone.
"What are your thoughts, now that we’re here?"
"Search, kill, and conquer!" Blair muttered, thick with fighting intent.
"Haha, exactly my thoughts..." Nash smiled at his words.
Now that they had arrived in uncharted territory, every piece of land was up for the taking.
They just needed to search for resource-rich regions, clear every dark beast in their way, and conquer.
"I’ve gathered everyone here to begin our first phase: Search."
"Led by the reconnaissance army, everyone is to map all dangers and resources within this void region."
"Civilization managers are also to look after the people and stabilize our territory."
"Is everything clear?"
"Yes, Commander!"
"Good. Now go!"
Without wasting a moment, Nash dismissed the briefing, and everyone moved out to execute their roles.
With two tier 8 battleships leading the way outside, Nash boarded the Void Pulse and followed behind.
Beside him, Camilla, Elizabeth, Julius, Alexus, Hans, Blair, Lionas, Varra, and several other leaders fell into formation.
"Where should we go, Master?" Atom asked.
"Elizabeth, if you please..."
Not knowing where to start, Nash turned to Elizabeth.
"Here you go. May it lead you down a glorious path."
Casting her luck blessing, Nash felt his intuition stir to life.
As if something was pulling him forward, he instinctively looked ahead.
"Toward the center."
"Roger that, Master."
At his word, the Void Pulse burst forward through space.
Passing through the various planetary systems under the Star Alliance’s territory, they finally broke through the barrier protecting them.
"Is this the power of the Chronos Emperor?"
Looking at the barrier that seemed utterly impenetrable, they couldn’t help but draw a deep breath.
Like the work of an invincible existence, not a single dark beast could even draw close.
"This will only last a year at most. After that, we’re on our own." Alexus muttered.
"At least it gives us time to carve out our territory." Nash nodded.
This barrier was the Chronos Emperor’s parting gift, a breathing window to find their footing.
Without it, not just them, but the million planetary systems behind them would be crushed and annihilated instantly.
As they flew further, leaving the barrier behind, a strange lightness settled over them.
It was not from gravity or any other phenomenon, but because the void energy, elements, and laws had begun to thin and fade.
"Is this the true face of the Wild Void Area?"
Cut off from the Universe Plane, they were like a lone boat adrift on a raging sea.
Unless they could build a bridge back, they would have to rely entirely on themselves for everything.
"I hope we find a void energy source soon." Lionas muttered worriedly.
With hundreds of quintillions of people behind them, the void energy expenditure was enormous.
Although the barrier left by the Chronos Emperor could slow the dissipation, it couldn’t stop it.
If all their reserve void energy ran dry, their end was not far off.
First, everyone would regress from their extraordinary status. Then, all technology reliant on void energy would fail. Finally, they would be left at the mercy of the dark beasts.
"Don’t be so pessimistic. We have Elizabeth." Varra muttered, glancing toward her.
"That’s right. We have our young miss." Hans said with quiet confidence.
When it came to chance and luck, having Elizabeth meant they would never truly lose their way.
"Don’t look at me like that. Nothing is guaranteed."
"It is." Nash smiled.
If it were anyone else, even blessed with Elizabeth’s luck, they might still fumble.
But Nash was different. With her blessing guiding him, he wouldn’t miss.
"Alright, stop the bragging. We still have a wall of dark beasts between us and anything worth doing." Camilla rolled her eyes.
Turning their gaze outside, their initial confidence quickly sobered.
The dense mass of dark beasts writhing through space sent a chill down everyone’s spine.
"This is far worse than anything in the virtual simulation."
If the simulation sat at danger level one, then what lay in front of them was a solid five.
The number and quality of dark beasts were almost on par with the main battlefield.
If not for the absence of tier 8 and 9 dark beasts, they might have thought they’d been thrown into the frontlines by mistake.
"Calm down. It’s not like we’re fighting them by hand." Nash smiled, unbothered.
All these dark beasts drifting through space were for the battleships to handle.
They only needed to worry about the dark beasts entrenched within each planet.
For the danger in open space, their firepower was more than enough.
"Atom, give them a taste of our firepower."
"On it..."
