I Can Recognize Everything, But the Information is Wrong-Chapter 529 - 491: Enlightenment Pool
Monk Kongwu followed Tian Lin’s instructions and began attacking the stone wall using the Kasaya.
However, although the Kasaya is an Immortal Artifact, it’s primarily defensive in nature, so it couldn’t easily break through at once.
For about an hour, Monk Kongwu continuously urged the Kasaya to crash against the stone wall until he was sweating profusely, and only then did the wall collapse with a booming sound, creating a doorway-sized hole.
Once the wall was broken, it could no longer contain the Spiritual Energy within.
The vast Spiritual Energy burst out from the stone wall, sweeping around like a sandstorm.
Tian Lin, with sharp eyes, shouted to Monk Kongwu: "This Spiritual Energy is toxic, Mage, be careful!"
What he meant by be careful was naturally for Monk Kongwu to protect Mei Xianfu and the others.
Luckily, Mei Xianfu wasn’t foolish; as the Spiritual Energy spewed out, she had already flown towards Monk Kongwu.
But as she passed by Tian Lin, wanting to pull him along to Monk Kongwu’s side, Tian Lin didn’t follow her running in that direction.
Instead, he advanced, stepping forward to shield the disciples of the Goddess Sect who hadn’t had time to react.
Most of these female disciples were Outer Disciples at the Late-stage Foundation Establishment, and although the few cultivators at the Early-stage Golden Core Realm reacted slightly faster, they still couldn’t outpace the raging ’tornado’ that had burst forth.
In their moment of panic, Tian Lin, standing in front of them, waved his arms and swept these few female cultivators towards the place where Mei Xianfu and Monk Kongwu were.
He then pushed forward with both hands, causing the tornado to momentarily stall.
Nevertheless, Tian Lin’s strength wasn’t enough to stop the tornado. In an instant, his entire body was swept up, caught mid-air by Monk Kongwu’s Kasaya.
Monk Kongwu, with the Kasaya isolating them inside, swiftly carried Tian Lin and the others out of the cave.
The tornado formed by the Spiritual Energy had already exited the cave before them, carrying them up into the sky.
Once Monk Kongwu was sure they were beyond the storm cloud’s influence, he put away the Kasaya.
Looking down at the cave below, shrouded in mist, everyone couldn’t help but take a deep breath.
"How many years of Spiritual Energy had accumulated here?"
Several female disciples, seeing two statues outside the cave covered in fog, felt their scalps tingle.
Those two disciples, unaware of the events inside the cave and unprepared, were caught by the Spiritual Energy’s violent winds and had now turned into lifeless stone statues.
"Had it not been for Brother Tian’s intervention, we would have become Spirit Stone statues as well. For today’s grace, we shall not forget—"
Their fear of death turned into gratitude—even though this gratitude might soon fade with time.
"We are all fellow disciples of the immortal gate, no need for formalities. In the future, I may need you sisters’ help too."
Tian Lin thought to himself that saving them this time, even if it didn’t eliminate all barriers with the disciples of the Goddess Sect, it might reduce some opposition regarding Cui’er’s access to the Enlightenment Pool.
As for the toxic Spiritual Energy, while others might avoid it like poison, for Tian Lin, though it wasn’t a great tonic, it was ultimately harmless.
"These Spiritual Energies stored in the stone wall for too long, blocked from escaping. Over time, it finally found a release, like a flood bursting through a dam, unstoppable."
Tian Lin said, "If we stay outside for half a day, the toxic gas inside should dissipate considerably. Then when we go back in, there’ll be no harm."
Everyone nodded, not wishing to risk further adventures.
Just then, Cui’er and her sisters, along with several other female disciples from the Goddess Sect, came running over after hearing the commotion.
Seeing Tian Lin and Mei Xianfu were safe, both of them breathed a sigh of relief.
Tian Lin took the opportunity to look at Monk Kongwu and said:
"I heard your sect has an Enlightenment Pool that helps calm and focus one’s mind to gain Daoist insights. Coincidentally, my two sword holders have recently entered the Late-stage Foundation Establishment but are stuck at a bottleneck."
Just as he finished speaking, a female True Disciple from the incoming group couldn’t help but say: "The Enlightenment Pool might not be anything grand, but the access each month is limited. Our sect has so many disciples waiting for their turn, where’s the queue for you to cut in?"
Tian Lin looked at that True Disciple and said: "I traveled across great distances to this Southern State to assist your sect without making any requests. Now I’m just hoping to get an opportunity for my sword holders to enter the Enlightenment Pool—never mind, since Senior Sister is unwilling, I won’t press."
Most would have the tact to ignore Tian Lin’s words, but Monk Kongwu, being unable to bear seeing Tian Lin dispirited, almost pleaded with the True Disciple: "What Mr. Tian asks isn’t unreasonable. Miss could be a bit more generous, acknowledging Mr. Tian’s assistance to the Goddess Sect, right?"
The True Disciple chuckled in disbelief and said, "I’ve long reached the Golden Core Realm, the Enlightenment Pool has no use for me; since the Great Elder agrees, why would I act small-minded?"
She no longer opposed, and the other True Disciples showed no interest in opposing either.
After all, for these True Disciples, the Enlightenment Pool indeed had no significant benefit. It wasn’t worth offending Tian Lin for lower-level Foundation Establishment cultivators’ sake. If trouble arose, Monk Kongwu, the Great Elder, would bear the burden.
"Alright, that’s settled then."
Monk Kongwu, after speaking, remembered to set a time for using the pool, hence he asked: "How long do the two young ladies plan to stay in the Enlightenment Pool?"
Tian Lin didn’t answer directly but looked at the Cui’er sisters and said: "Once you enter the pool, make sure to break through your cultivation within three months and vacate the pool for the other sisters to use."
Achieving a breakthrough to the Golden Core Realm in three months seemed almost impossible for the Cui’er sisters.
However, knowing it wasn’t the time to speak discouragingly, they responded joyfully, pledging to do their best.
Here, Monk Kongwu entrusted the Cui’er sisters to a female disciple of the Goddess Sect who led them to the Enlightenment Pool.
Down by the cave entrance, it was now enclosed with a fence, temporarily restricting access.
They lingered above the cave for several hours; by sunset, the energy emerging from the cave had diminished in intensity and concentration.
Yet even then, the Spiritual Energy remained toxic.
Tian Lin decisively said: "Only us Golden Core Cultivators will go down; the other Foundation Establishment cultivators should stay outside, ready to respond."
Monk Kongwu had no objections and tossed his Kasaya, saying: "With the vestment robe protecting me, let me go down to scout the way first."
Tian Lin and several True Disciples of the Goddess Sect raised no issues, so Monk Kongwu dived into the cave first.
Shortly thereafter, Monk Kongwu’s voice echoed from the cave, shouting: "Apart from Spiritual Energy, there’s nothing else down here; you all can come down."
Almost as his words ended, Tian Lin and the others flowed into the cave in succession.
The cave now differed from the one that morning; the walls had all transformed into Spirit Stones.
