I Contracted All Ancient Divine Artifacts-Chapter 323 - 222: Entering the Slaughter Battlefield
Slaughter Battlefield!
When he saw this door, Han Zhan knew deep down without needing a reminder.
This was the entrance to the Slaughter Battlefield!
Because he had seen this door before.
It was when Han Zhan first entered the City of Extreme Evil.
This large area surrounded by white mist had only a few channels through which one could enter.
And at the entrance to these channels, the same "door" shaped passage appeared!
"That prophecy has come true."
Bob looked at the white mist door opened in Buried Sword City and muttered to himself.
"Inside the Ultimate Slaughter Battlefield, there is the ultimate solution to the Slaughter Battlefield."
As someone who knew all the secrets of the Land of Soul Burial, this was no secret to Bob.
Hearing Bob’s words, Han Zhan thought of that previous bamboo forest.
Since everyone was temporarily "allies" now, he could finally inquire about some issues that had troubled him for a long time.
"The Bamboo Forest World you attacked with the Fallen Knight and Life and Death Apostle, what on earth is it?"
"You don’t know?"
Bob’s tone rose slightly.
"I don’t know."
Han Zhan replied honestly.
"What’s in the bamboo forest?"
"Bamboo."
"Anything else?"
"A woman trapped inside."
"That’s it?"
"That’s it."
The two exchanged quick questions and answers, and after finishing, Bob rather humanly pinched his chin.
Using the most advanced lie detector for analysis, regardless of tone, heartbeat, pupil constriction, blood flow rate, or pore dilation, all tests showed normal.
This meant that Han Zhan did not lie when answering these questions.
"Seems like you really didn’t know." Bob said, nodding to himself.
"Can you tell me now?" Han Zhan continued to press.
"I don’t know either."
Han Zhan: "???"
Grass is a type of plant, he almost wanted to return the plant in person to Bob.
"You don’t know, yet you ask so many questions?"
"I’m just asking, it won’t make me pregnant."
Bob spread his hands indifferently, who knows which language database he pulled these slick words from.
Han Zhan didn’t have the lie detector tools used by Bob, so he could only rely on physical threats.
The Xuanyuan Sword was already at the neck of the little dragon person, who had shifted from virtual to real.
"If you don’t tell me, I’ll destroy you, so you can’t enter the Slaughter Battlefield!"
Bob lifted a finger on his dragon claw and tried to push the Xuanyuan Sword, finding it utterly immovable.
He could only continue explaining: "I really don’t know, not just me, but I believe the Fallen Knight and Life and Death Apostle don’t know either."
No one knows?
If no one knows, then why are you all risking your lives coming to Buried Sword City to mess with me?
Han Zhan felt altogether uncomfortable.
This human’s emotional fluctuation was significant, based on the relic feedback, there was a fifty percent chance he would kill me, and a ninety percent chance he would injure me!
Bob decided to seize the chance and say a little more while he could.
"Indeed, none of us know what’s in that bamboo forest."
"Because its appearance was outside our expectations."
"It doesn’t belong to this space, just like the Slaughter Battlefield, it has a ’floating’ trait. But when I observed it, I found it seemed to anchor above the Anti-Xia Alliance."
"When a floating Other Space ceases to float, like the previously elusive wind bottled up and becomes visible, everyone wants a look."
Han Zhan had heard the term anchoring from the adult Nuannuan.
So the Bamboo Forest World itself was floating, and Nuannuan anchored it over the Anti-Xia Alliance to connect with him through certain means.
This information was unknown to Bob, but Han Zhan knew.
He could thus determine that the few words from Bob were undoubtedly trustworthy truth.
"Then how did you discover this special space?" Han Zhan asked a different question.
"Each of us has our method, but I can tell you for free."
While observing Han Zhan’s anger levels, Bob said: "My method involves Virtual-Real Technology. Virtual particles themselves don’t belong to this space and can float to various spaces to observe."
"As for that Fallen Knight from the Sun Never Sets Knight Order, his Path of Corruption connects many places, and opening a dimensional channel isn’t hard for him."
"For the Life and Death Apostle, he probably found some traversable rift. After all, with so many duplicates, no one has explored the City of Extreme Evil more thoroughly than he has."
Having said this, Han Zhan could basically be certain Bob wasn’t lying.
So these three major faction leaders simply discovered a non-floating special space and all wanted to explore it.
Turns out they found themselves inside and didn’t know what benefit they had gained.
Perhaps they couldn’t use those benefits at all, but they just wanted to figure out what advantage Han Zhan had gained.
Thus they decided to ambush Han Zhan.
Of course, ambushing Han Zhan was just a bonus, at their level, actions wouldn’t have only the most surface purpose.
Take Bob, his motive for using Virtual-Real Technology from the Mechanical Sect was to connect with Han Zhan and form an alliance to handle the Dream Demon.
For the Fallen Knight and Alien Race, both controlled by the Dream Demon Frog, killing Han Zhan was one facet, but opportunistically seizing and taking over the Life and Death Apostle for resurrection was a more crucial goal than killing Han Zhan on this trip.
For the Life and Death Apostle, well, since he’s dead, the purpose doesn’t matter.
After sorting out these thoughts, the conversation ended.
"Are we going in now?"
The others who hadn’t had a chance to speak asked after seeing Han Zhan and Bob finish talking.
Han Zhan had already won them over with his strength, they were genuinely submissive to his command.
"My suggestion is to wait a bit." The speaker was Bob.
He pulled out an electronic tablet, with virtual light and shadow flickering in three dimensions. He fiddled with it a few times, and one incomprehensible pattern after another flickered past.
"The prophecy mentioned, when four coexist, the ultimate shall open. Now they’re not here yet, even if we want to enter early, we can’t."
Chen Zui tried, and indeed.
As he approached the White Mist Gate, an invisible force repelled him three meters outside, without progress.
"If you calculate the time, they should be arriving."
Just as Bob finished speaking, a graceful and athletic female figure appeared nearby.
From another direction, a middle-aged man dressed like a ship’s captain and a black-armored knight on a warhorse appeared on the other side of the road.
"Now everyone’s here."
