Harrov pondered for a long time before reluctantly accepting the fact that a perfect circle does not exist, then continued to inquire, "I understand your first point, but what about the second?"

"The second point is the interference of the gravitational forces of other planets. Even if the orbit of the planet beneath our feet initially approximated a perfect circle, after millions of years of evolution under the gravitational influence of other celestial bodies, deviation is bound to occur," Lynn explained.

"I see!" Harrov suddenly realized, enlightened that gravity exists among all things and must naturally interfere with each other. Even if this interference is minimal, over the span of millions of years, it would be amplified enough to influence the orbits of the celestial bodies.

There was a third influencing factor that Lynn did not mention, which was that the stars themselves are not stationary. They too move around the center of the galaxy, so disturbance is inevitable.

However, this point was probably beyond the understanding of these Wizards. They had not even figured out the rotation of planets, let alone the grander cosmic picture.

"I have another question, regarding the first law that says a star is at one of the foci of an ellipse. What is this focus?" Harrov continued to inquire.

"Explaining it directly might not be convenient. Why not draw an ellipse yourself to see?" Lynn suggested with a smile.

Without hesitation, Harrov extended his hand and, using his right index finger as a pen and his Magic Power as ink, he drew an ellipse in the air, then looked towards Lynn, waiting for his reply.

Shit, drawing an ellipse by hand, and so perfectly too.

Lynn’s mouth twitched slightly as he finally understood why the "technology tree" in Wizard Land was so messily developed; many instruments were simply unnecessary for Wizards who probably only considered which type of Magic Power would be more convenient for solving a problem.

Seeing this, an amused and exasperated Lynn turned to look at the group of apprentices.

"Ailoke, you draw it!"

Ailoke eagerly nodded. Drawing an ellipse he could manage, especially since this was a chance to show off in front of a legendary Wizard. Ailoke quickly fetched two small sticks and a fine string, then wrapped the string around the two sticks that were stuck into the ground and used them as pivot points. Holding a feather pen against the string, he drew around the sticks.

An ellipse immediately appeared before Harrov.

"The location of these two sticks represents the foci of the ellipse. What’s special about them is that the sum of the distances from any point on the arc of the ellipse to the two foci is always the same. Some scholars from the Secret Magic Society even believe that a circle is just an ellipse whose two foci coincide..."

Using this drawing process, Lynn began to explain the meaning of ellipses and the derivation process of Kepler’s third law to Harrov.

Harrov listened with rapt attention and finally burst into applause, exclaiming, "Brilliant, absolutely brilliant! Who would have thought that through mathematical principles, one could so intuitively and clearly recreate the patterns of celestial movement..."

"If you had stayed a little longer last night, I wouldn’t have had to spend half a day using the most basic methods to verify these three laws," Harrov said with a sigh. The conclusions he had reached through a night’s work were now succinctly encapsulated by Lynn in a few short mathematical formulas.

"Lord Harrov, Professor Lynn did indeed want to visit you personally last night, but unfortunately, he was stopped at your door," Philip quickly interjected.

"Is that so?" Harrov blinked, turning to look at Lynn.

"Lady Trisha thought that your research had reached a critical point and feared that you might not have the time for this meeting," Lynn said, shaking his head.

Harrov’s expression instantly darkened; Trisha had not explained it to him this way back at the manor!

After pointing out the issue with Trisha, Lynn did not further elaborate or exaggerate her affront, considering a witch who couldn’t see the situation clearly was not worth his deliberate antagonism; a few words were enough.

"Before coming to Wizard Land, a distinguished member of the Secret Magic Society entrusted me with a task— to deliver this ring to a sage of great wisdom, to discuss the mysteries of the universe, time, and space together. The next meeting time should be around midnight tonight," Lynn said while producing a beautifully crafted ring.

It was the Faceless Ring he had remade, but its appearance had significantly changed, most notably the thorn flower on the ring face transforming into a highly unusual geometric pattern.

Around the periphery was a circular clock face, with a pyramid-like pattern on the inside, with a striking eye, constructed from geometric patterns, right in the middle of the pyramid.

It was the Eye of All-Knowing!

Despite the unpleasant encounter with Trisha, his apprentice, in front of the manor, Harrov was willing to set aside his pride and consult this third-circle Wizard on various issues. After considering, Lynn decided to hand over the only signal transmitter he had made.

Harrov solemnly took it, carefully examined the alchemical patterns on the ring, and quickly deduced that this device was used to project one’s Magic Power to a specific location.

This method was not particularly novel, but concerning the first contact with the Secret Magic Society, Harrov cared greatly.

In his view, Lynn was like a representative sent by the Secret Magic Society to liaise with Wizard Land, and this assembly was likely a formal meeting between the upper echelons of both parties to discuss cooperation or delve into deeper magical issues.

After receiving the ring, Harrov didn’t linger long and soon bid his farewell, needing to think about what knowledge could be used as a bargaining chip.

Once Harrov had left, Lynn mentally inquired in his mind.

’071, are you sure the Magic Domain is secure enough? There’s no chance it could be seized again?’

Lynn had not forgotten that this device had been taken from Helram. Typically, he wouldn’t worry, considering the computing power of the smart brain, but facing a legendary Wizard, he wasn’t so certain.

[The original form of Magic Power transmission and reception was too simple and has now been replaced with quantum encryption. Theoretically, it’s impossible to decrypt.]

Relieved, Lynn nodded.
