I Don't Need To Log Out-Chapter 77: Demon Hunt (3)
From the shadows of the corridor, the real Arlon stepped forward, his presence radiating authority. Clad in the Wraithguard set, he held the Wandblade in his hand, its gleaming edge pulsating faintly with power.
Draco turned his gaze toward the newcomer, a low growl rumbling in his chest. "So, you finally show yourself. I hope you’re stronger than that pathetic imitation."
Arlon didn’t reply immediately, his eyes focused on the massive dragon before him.
---
Before the fight began, Arlon had sent his copy instead of coming himself.
There was more than one reason for that. First of all, Arlon wasn’t sure if there was a trap.
Draco should have already realized there were intruders. It was impossible for Arlon to know that Draco was sleeping.
So, Arlon sent his copy to be sure there weren’t any traps for him.
The second reason was to see Draco’s power. Even though Arlon was the one that defeated Draco in the past timeline, he didn’t have the Eyes of K****, back then.
So, while the copy was fighting, Arlon activated the Eyes of K****, scanning Draco for critical information.

Draco the Demon Dragon (Level 164)
HP: 89,000
Skill: [Breath Attack], [Smash], ???
Weak Point: ???

Satisfied with what he’d gleaned, Arlon deactivated the Eyes of K****, his mana untouched.
Lastly, Arlon wanted to remember Draco’s power through the eyes of his copy.
Since he was Level 200 in the last timeline when he encountered Draco, he didn’t know if he was strong enough to easily beat him.
And now, he was sure that he could win.
---
Arlon gripped the Wandblade tighter, prepared for the battle ahead.
Draco struck first, his claws raking through the air with incredible speed. Arlon dodged deftly, countering with a quick slash at Draco’s side.
The Wandblade left a deep cut, drawing a bellow of pain from the dragon. But Draco was far from done.
He retaliated with a powerful Smash, the impact sending shockwaves through the chamber.
Arlon staggered but regained his footing. Raising his free hand, he cast Frost Chains, momentarily binding Draco in place.
The dragon roared in fury, shattering the icy restraints with brute force. The fight continued, each exchange growing fiercer.
After 15 more minutes of fighting, spells hitting each other, sword and claw clashing without a winner, Draco talked again:

"You know that you can’t kill me, right? Even if you do kill me, I will revive," he sneered.
"I wouldn’t be too sure about that," Arlon answered.
Draco immediately felt danger. "Could it be... No way! There are no saviors strong enough to beat me. Even the strongest is at level 100!"
"Ah, about that. Sorry, but I can’t tell you my secret." Even though Arlon was really only level 101, his stats were as strong as a level 150 thanks to his title.
Finally, Draco snarled, "Hah! Even if you kill me, there are still 11 more Demons and 39 Functionaries."
"It’s fine. I’ll kill all of you," Arlon replied, his tone calm and unwavering, his Wandblade gleaming faintly with power.
Draco sneered. "Do you really think you’re strong enough? Even if you are, what about him?"
Arlon’s gaze didn’t waver. "We’ll see."
With that, he activated the Eyes of K****, time slowing to a crawl as his perception heightened.
Draco’s movements, once swift and overwhelming, now seemed predictable. Arlon struck with precision, his blows finding the gaps in Draco’s scales.
The Wandblade glowed brighter with each strike, but the strain on Arlon’s mana grew evident.
It was time for Arlon to go all.
He immediately dodged the claw attack with Shadow Shift. Thanks to the momentum of the fist that didn’t connect, Draco couldn’t go back.
Arlon immediately activated his skills. He was as fast as a sports car right now. The Wraithguard Set was focused on speed, so it was normal.
Together with Dash and Blink, it seemed like he was not moving but teleporting.
Of course, no matter how fast he was, Draco was a Dragon and sword strikes weren’t enough to defeat him.
Arlon thought about all the spells he learned from Agema’s book. But his mana was draining really fast thanks to the Eyes of K****.
Dragons were fire descent, so he decided to use lightning and water spells.
First of all, he cast another chain spell, but this time, it was Water Chain.
Before Draco could break the chains, Arlon used Chain Lightning. But it still didn’t hurt the Dragon well enough.
So, Arlon changed tactics one more time. This time, instead of chanting magic, he would be a real magic swordsman.
He focused his mana on his Wandsword and turned this mana into water and electricity.
The Wandsword was covered with blue and purple light. The light turned into water and electricity, but it didn’t spill to the ground and stayed around the sword.
Arlon checked Draco’s HP one more time. It was 43,658.
Draco was breathing heavily. Even though he was at half HP, he was both tired and injured.
Since Arlon constantly aimed at Draco’s legs, he couldn’t stand.
And, when Arlon blinked to the right side of Draco, where his tail was standing, Draco couldn’t react in time and his tail was cut in the split second.
The water and electricity worked better than Arlon thought this time.
After that, Draco lashed out in desperation, but his attacks failed to connect.

Arlon’s relentless assault culminated in a decisive thrust, the Wandblade piercing through Draco’s chest and shattering the dragon’s heart.
With a final, earth-shaking roar, Draco collapsed, his massive form lifeless.
The Wandblade cracked under the strain, its magic spent.
But Arlon didn’t mind parting with the Wandsword. He would have something much better soon anyway.
Soon, light covered Draco’s body and it vanished.
Draco wouldn’t be able to enter Trion again unless he physically came here. And there wouldn’t be another Demon since the Zeno also stopped working.
Two notifications rang in Arlon’s mind:
"The player Arlon has slain ’Draco the Demon Dragon’. Remaining Demons, 11/12. The enemy’s focus on players will increase."
This notification was a universal one for the players of the Earth, but Arlon had only reached here during the evening and it was the middle of the night right now.
This was bad. Since the notification couldn’t be sent now, it would probably stay there until the players turned it off.
This meant that when everyone logged in that morning, they would see that Arlon killed a Demon as well as five Named Monsters while everyone was logged out.
He needed an excuse for that, but he wasn’t sure if more excuses would work on June, she was too smart.
Another notification came in the meantime.
"You have leveled up 6x. You have gained 18 CP."
Adding to the three levels he gained while killing the five Named Monsters, he was now level 110.
The leveling speed had really slowed down thinking that killing a 164-level Demon only gave him 6 levels when he was level 104.
There was still one existence-level difference between him and Draco. But he knew this would happen. He wasn’t in a hurry.
But while Arlon was thinking about these, he didn’t know what was happening on the enemy’s side.
