I Found a Door to the Elven Realm-Chapter 105: Sneaky Glances to Ex

"Touch it everyone." He wanted them to see with their own eyes.

"It says married!" Emily’s voice cracked heavily on the second word. "Eren... it actually says married."

All of them were excited!

The tears came and they weren’t the quiet kind. Emily pressed both dirty hands against her face as her shoulders shook, making a sound that was somewhere between laughing and sobbing.

Other two also checked and saw that they belong to Eren as part of his house now. It was a similar marriage in Eren’s eyes but system didn’t see it like that. If he knew, he would also include them in the marriage ceremony.

Selena moved first after Eren hugged Emily while putting her arm around Emily’s shoulders to pull her close.

Lyra hesitated for a second before wrapping her arms around Emily from the right side. She was shorter than both of them so her face ended up pressed against Emily’s shoulder, but she held on tight.

Eren stepped in closely and wrapped his large arms around all three of them this time. Emily’s face was pressed against his chest, her tears soaking through his shirt while her dirty hands left prints on his back. Selena’s head rested against his shoulder and Lyra’s small hands tightly gripped his arm.

Four people in a group hug in this place with dirty cloths. I bet we look weird.

"I waited so long for this," Emily’s voice was muffled against his chest. "Everyone in the village could find someone if they were desperate enough but I was always the only half-blood freak who nobody wanted and now I have-" She couldn’t finish the sentence and just pressed harder against him.

"You have us," Selena said quietly but firmly. "All of us."

Emily laughed through her tears. "That’s my word. You can’t steal my word."

"Too late." Eren whispered.

Lyra didn’t say anything. She just squeezed him tighter.

They stood like that for a while. The three saplings swayed in a light breeze behind them while the afternoon sun warmed Eren’s back. Somewhere in the distance a bird that sounded exactly like a broken accordion was singing its idiot song.

This is it. This is the life I got.

The four of them went back to their house and nobody tried to talk to them because they were newly married.

Emily made more tea because apparently elves solved every emotional moment with hot leaf water or fruit wine.

At the same time Selena started washing the breakfast dishes. Lyra sat at the table with her hands wrapped around a warm cup and a small private smile on her pink face.

Eren leaned back in his wooden sofa and watched the three of them move around his kitchen like they had been doing it together for years.

The bonding trees are planted. The system says married. I have a pregnant wife, two concubines, a house and a wolf squad. Honestly, this is the best possible outcome for a guy who became unemployed six weeks ago. But..

The orcs were getting closer. Thadric had mentioned spotting fresh tracks near the south wall just two days ago.

The dragon was still out there doing whatever dragons do when they aren’t actively ruining someone’s day. But it’s presence on the norther mountains was pushing all the trolls and maybe other things to the village.

Winter was rapidly approaching and the village food supply wasn’t going to last without serious planning or more hunting some edible things. And most of the monster and beasts were not edible according to the elves.

How the hell am I supposed to focus on any of that when I have three women waiting at home? My Endurance stat is 54 and even that might not be enough to handle this domestic situation with my libido and needs!

He looked out the window at the distant trees in the neighborhood. Somewhere past those trees was an orc camp getting bigger every single day. Somewhere past a bathroom door was Earth with everything he needed to defend this village.

I keep running out of time. Every time I solve one problem three more show up. The orcs, the dragon, winter supplies, village defense. And now I’ve got a family to protect on top of all that.

He thought about the village. Forty-something elves living in a forest that was getting more dangerous by the week. The barricade was only half-built. The hunting party was still severely underleveled. Emily couldn’t fight at full capacity because of the pregnancy.

What if I just... took everyone? The whole village through the door to Earth.

It was a stupid thought and he knew it the second he had it. And skill limitations also would make it almost impossible. two hundred and thirty elves walking through a modern Earth city with pointed ears and medieval clothing.

Yeah, that would go great.

But then his gamer brain looked at it differently. Not walking through a city but just existing somewhere safe while the danger passed. A temporary move like a backup plan or deus ex move against this stupid hordes of enemies?

He actually tried to find something on Earth side that could allow Elves to hide for a few months. But the city he was living was connected to a big metropol. İstanbul or Constantinople. And every close distance to it was packed with people, even the villages!

His parents village was out of question with the same problem of populace.

He had to find more outside and empty place to hide them. Then he tried to make a plan for when he actually found a place in the future.

The real problem isn’t the door actually. The door portal works fine. The problem is communication lost when I wait for the mana battery to filled again in the two days. In that two days periods they will lose all connection with me.

Elves will go the other side and I will have to stay here. Even one Rosa wouldn’t be enough to control all of them.

If I carry too many elves to Earth they can’t talk to anyone, they can’t read anything, they can’t even order food. They’d be completely helpless.

He looked at Emily pouring tea.

But wait. I learned Elvish through a skill. The system just downloaded it straight into my brain like a language pack. If it works one way, why wouldn’t it work the other way?

A way to connect both worlds that didn’t involve just him sprinting back and forth carrying heavy bags of salt and walkie-talkies right. It was also connection of cultures and languages!

The idea took shape slowly. It wasn’t a full plan yet, just the bones of one.

What if I could teach them human languages? Not with books and lessons but with the system. If there’s a skill for learning Elvish there might be a way to create one for learning Earth languages. The elves aren’t stupid. They’re actually smarter than most humans I know. They just don’t have the tools.

He filed the thought away. It wasn’t something he could test right now due to tense and emotional aura in the house. But it was definitely something he felt like they could abuse!

Emily sat down across from him and put a steaming cup of tea in his hands. Her green eyes were still red from crying but her smile was real and steady.

"You’re thinking about something." She tilted her head slightly. "I can always tell because your jaw gets tight with a stupid look."

He actually grabbed both her body and the tea cup and french kissed her in front of everyone.

Emily tried to struggle with the presence of Rosa but it was like a few seconds. Then they left the cup and Eren gave her exciting but also embarressing moment of a soft kisses.

She was just adorable.

He told them after they had fun for at least a minute. "I was thinking about how I’m going to keep all of you safe while also dealing with the orc situation, the Earth trips, and go to the norther mountains without the dragon jumping me."

Emily’s smile turned into a wide grin. "That last part is your fault, mister. You married into an elf village with less man than woman. What did you expect? Letting you go and face a dragon even when we know how impossibly dangerous it will be.."

Fair point.

"We’ll figure it out." She reached across the table and put her hand over his. Her fingers were still a little dirty from the garden. "But today you’re mine. Tomorrow you can be a heroic hunter or portal maker. Not today!"

Eren agreed and started to touch her body even if his ex girlfriend was watching them.

But today I’m hers.

He squeezed her warm hand, drank his tea like it was alcohol and tried his hardest not to think about how many terrifying things were waiting for him around this surrounded village.

Also he was wondering what the system meant by saying Rosa was his concubine now? Half-kidnapping her to this universe and accepting her to their house may had a symbolic meaning. Or deep down, she felt like Eren was her man.

He didn’t know anything about that topic, but maybe they were lovers before right? And they didn’t officially broke up...

Eren was kind of happy with the situation.

He gave Rosa a sneaky glance and she noticed it like she could see her behind.

And she smiled with the same sneaky vibe.
