Contrary to the Fate System's thoughts, the one that poked the sleeping tiger wasn't the high-profile action of the Systems. Instead, it was the entity operating beyond the confines of Fate.

Compass Carburettor!

Having arrived at a slumbering world, Compass Carburettor stared at the entity before him in silence. The two entities remained at a standoff as the pressure between them built up.

Crack!

His Universe Weapon—monocle—cracked, almost shattering in response. Compass Carburettor hurriedly pocketed it and deactivated the relevant power.

Mystique stared at him with anger, expressing negative emotions. Amplified by the monocle, Compass Carburettor's Hate Erasure took effect, intending to erase the part of Mystique's memories regarding the negative emotions.

It didn't work and instead backfired, causing the Universe Weapon to crack. Had he been a moment late in retracting it, the monocle would have shattered.

Staring at Mystique, Compass Carburettor muttered, "You have a familiar presence now."

"Didn't we converse just recently?" Mystique's anger vanished like it was just a passing wind, instead replayed by a smile, "I now represent the parasite world."

It meant that Jyorta's world had successfully assimilated into Mystique's influence, the resulting collective consciousness joining the collective of collective consciousnesses within Mystique.

"Anyway," His nature changed as Mystique no longer exuded a familiar presence. He calmly took out a monocle and wore it, his expression calm, but capable of seeing through Compass Carburettor, "Don't try to imitate me, will you?"

"I don't dare." Compass Carburettor replied and stared at the opponent.

Nothing seemed to happen but in truth, millions of illusions, minds, and dreams collided between the two.

Argh!

Compass Carburettor screamed in madness, clutching his head that cracked open, causing dozens of worms to slither out and consume the rest of his body. The next moment, he was back to his pristine state, the earlier scene wiped out of existence.

This time, it was Mystique's turn. Bubbles formed on his body, frothing as it seethed with nuclear radiation, causing even the collective consciousnesses part of him to explode like bombs, resulting in an implosion.

A single worm drilled out of his body, carrying with it all the damage that had been transferred to it. The worm exploded, creating a blood mist no bigger than a mosquito. The bug wasn't anything special. Any random world would have trillions of them.

All the damage sustained by Mystique was casually transferred to this bug. Unaffected, he stared at Compass Carburettor, "You like to glare at others, right?"

Millions of thoughts clashed in Compass Carburettor's mind as they fused into a destructive component, actually condensing a being similar in nature to Systems that exploded, destroying his mind.

The explosion also vaporised his entire body. But a moment later, a single cell came into existence, protected by the most condensed shield of Lore and Tell-Tale. Energy funnelled into this cell as in the next moment, it had multiplied enough to recondense the figure of Compass Carburettor.

"I don't just glare. I also bite." Compass Carburettor muttered as a mystical power came into being and bit off a chunk of Mystique's body, chomping on it.

A second later though, the mystical power condensed into a whimpering canine that slumbered into sickness, dropping dead a couple of seconds later. Billions of worms jutted out of its body, devoured it and joined back to reform Mystique.

"Can you handle this?" Compass Carburettor said as he focused on his Dreamland and consumed one unit of power from one of the stars.

Psyche Star—Family Longing!

Waaah!

Mystique became sad and soon after, broke into tears, missing his family as the reigning collective consciousness changed, "I miss my wife, Zaira."

The sense of longing made him weak and unresponsive as Compass Carburettor tightened the grip of the glove on his right hand and closed in on Mystique, craning his hand to the back before punching forth with all his might.

The punch landed squarely on Mystique's face, causing him to bleed like a human.

Universe Weapon—Universal Anthozoa: Survival Life of a Fragile Mortal!

The area of impact became no different from a mortal, causing the punch to sting like hell, resulting in a nosebleed.

After just a punch though, Compass Carburettor retreated, sensing a tenth of the energy within the glove had been consumed, 'Hitting such peak existences is energy-draining, even on a universe scale.'

"That's a good punch." Mystique stared at his dripping nose that didn't heal for a good few seconds. But after that, the impact region stopped being a mortal and recovered instantly. The effect of the Psyche Star too waned as Mystique observed Compass Carburettor's condition.

A few seconds of silence later, he smirked, "How long can you last against me? Psyche Star, is it? You only have a limited number of them, right?"

Mystique attacked once more, watching his attack get neutralised. Though, at the level of his attacks, only by using a Psyche Star was Compass Carburettor able to defend.

Without using his Psyche Stars, his attacks wouldn't even reach Mystique.

Psyche Star—Mental Peace!

Using it, Compass Carburettor healed himself of the insanity unleashed by Mystique.

Psyche Star—Mental Peace (21)!

Psyche Star—Mental Peace (20)!

Every time he defended against the insanity, a unit of Mental Peace was consumed. The moment he expends all the Psyche Stars of Mental Peace is when he'll become defenceless against Mystique's insanity attacks.

"Are you Compass Carburettor?" Mystique asked and varied his attacks.

Psyche Star—Family Longing (8)!

"What are you now?" A minute of constant attacks later, Mystique stared at Compass Carburettor whose objective seemed to waver, "Your Psyche Stars behave as a filter between you as Compass Carburettor and the experience trove in you. The lower their number, the weaker this filter gets, allowing the experiences to intrude upon your being."

"Eventually, your situation becomes similar to mine." Saying so, Mystique caused all the hair on Compass Carburettor's body to evolve into worms that drilled into his body.

Psyche Star—War Preparation (3)!

"Haah…" Compass Carburettor panted as he raised his hand, unleashing an attack on Mystique that was way stronger and more complex than before, for he was acting based on a vaster sea of experience, making his attacks trickier to defend against.

But of course, his will as Compass Carburettor was weakening as a result, gradually controlled by the experience trove.

"So," Mystique took out a monocle and wore it, asking with a smile, "What are you now?"
