Chapter 246 How to be more shameless

I.x.U's big day had finally arrived. This was the boys' first comeback so they were nervous but at same time, quite excited. Yu Chen could see it on their faces as he stood by the company's entrance, sending them off for the music show.

He didn't know what else to say as he stood there watching them.

When everything was ready, the boys didn't forget to politely bow at him.

Yu Chen then walked closer to them. "How about I'll come and watch?" he suddenly asked and everyone stood frozen. Even the staffs who heard him choked. Boss, don't joke around like that! Please don't put any more pressure on them! T^T

The staffs all have the same thoughts. They thought that he was just kidding. And they truly didn't want him to come because of the immense pressure his existence alone was exuding. Moreover, he was the mighty Yu Chen, how could someone like him attend an event like music shows? Even if he went there as a VVIP, they all still thought that someone like him was not fitted to be there! To them, he was the king that should only be sitting on his throne!

"No, no…" All of the boys almost frantically waved their hands, as they forced a smile, blatantly showing their disagreement. "Uhm what we mean is, It's alright boss, you can just watch us live on TV. And we know that you're a very busy person." Lu Xiaotian explained, smiling while the rest nodded their agreement with what their leader had said.

Yu Chen stared at them for a moment. It seemed like they really didn't like him to come and watch them and for some reason, gloomy clouds were starting to form above his head. He almost looked like a father who was disappointed because he couldn't go and watch his little sons' important event at school.

The boys then bowed at him one last time before they finally entered inside the vans.

"You said they'd like it." Yu Chen's face turned sour as he looked at Gu Wei once the vans left.

Gu Wei who already saw this coming scratched his head. He was after all the one who suggested this, that he should go and personally attend the show to show his genuine support.

"Well, you shouldn't have asked them like that, boss. Of course, they will not agree. Didn't you hear what they said? They said they knew you're busy. I think they actually thought you're not serious." Somehow, Gu Wei managed to redeem himself pretty smoothly.

Yu Chen's expression abruptly changed and the gloomy clouds above his head disappeared. It seemed like he somehow realized that it was indeed his mistake.

"So, you're saying that we'll go there in secret?"

"Yep?"

"Okay, get ready, we're going to go there and watch."

And thus, Yu Chen and his men headed to the music show's venue.

Getting that golden ticket to gain studio access was as hard as winning a lottery for even the rich fans but for Yu Chen, of course, he easily managed to enter including all his bodyguards.

The security inside the studio was already very tight and taking photos was actually strictly prohibited – something that was a good thing for Yu Chen. The studio audience was also surprisingly behaved, simply waving their fan banners and light sticks while chanting when their stars took the stage.

It wasn't that bad, Yu Chen and his men thought. This was their first time, except Gu Wei, attending a place like this so they thought that it would be chaotic but surprisingly, it was actually not that bad. The only thing that was hard enough for Yu Chen to swallow was the noise.

Yu Chen and his men only entered when it's about time for I.x.U's turn to perform. They didn't ask for the best seat, they simply sat at the back near the exit.

As they seat there waiting for the stage preparation, Yu Chen's phone vibrated.

He brought out his phone and when he saw that his wife was the one calling, his face brightened. It was a video call so Yu Chen put on his ear pod after receiving the call.

"Hubby? Where are you?" Xiaolei was wearing a cute headband and was holding an X-shaped light sticks in her hands. Beside her was Juu, who was quietly holding I.x.U's banner with an utterly blank expression, he almost looked like a programmed robot just sitting there, motionless. It looked like they were ready to join the show as well.

"I'm at the studio."

"What?! Y-you actually…" Xiaolei was obviously shocked. "B-but how… I mean, why?"

"To show support."

Xiaolei was shocked. She was speechless for a moment before a wide smile was carved on her face. She never once thought that Yu Chen would actually go as far as attending a music show to show his support! Ahh! My heart…

"Aww… my hubby is so thoughtful, I really want to hug you and pinch your cheek right now!" she exclaimed as she beamed in happiness and Yu Chen blushed a little.

"My wife, I want a reward when you're back."

"Of course, you're doing such a really… really great job so you deserved a reward. What kind of reward? Do you want me to buy you something?"

"No, I don't want anything that could be bought."

"Oh, what do you want then? A kiss?" she teased but surprisingly, Yu Chen shook his head.

"I want more than that. I want you to teach me how to be more shameless."

Xiaolei immediately choked. But she wasn't the only one who almost died with embarrassment, the men seating around Yu Chen also almost choked themselves to death.

However, Yu Chen didn't even seem to care a tiny bit for his men's wellbeing. He didn't even notice their sudden outburst. His eyes remained glued on the phone's screen worriedly looking at his coughing wife.

He saw that Juu dashed away and returned with a glass of water. Once Xiaolei calmed down, she finally looked at her painfully… innocently shameless husband again.

"My husband… let's talk about that later okay?" she said, still trying to recover from his thunderous attack and gladly, the man simply nodded. Looking like a child who was unaware about the outrageous thing he had said. This man…
