I Have A Sword-Chapter 1214: Danger
The Nine Continents Tower was famous throughout the Nine Continents Domain because it had the renowned Nine Continents List, which meant that it naturally became a gathering place for countless prodigies from across the Nine Continents.
Pan Ling led Ye Guan into an ancient city. The city was sparsely populated with buildings—only a few scattered structures could be seen. A towering structure piercing the clouds stood in the middle of the city.
It was a magnificent and imposing tower.
Pan Ling gazed at the tower. "You're staring at the Nine Continents Tower, a place adored by countless prodigies. There, you'll find endless opponents to spar with and hone your skills."
Ye Guan smiled and started, "Miss, you—"
Pan Ling interrupted, "Just call me Pan Ling."
Ye Guan smiled faintly. "Miss Pan Ling, have you ever participated in the rankings here?"
"Yes." Pan Ling nodded. "But my results weren't great. I only made it to the top twenty."
"That's...not too impressive."
Pan Ling turned to Ye Guan and stared at him without saying a word.
Ye Guan was puzzled. "What's wrong?"
Pan Ling shook her head but didn't reply.
Top twenty!
Becoming one of the top twenty prodigies was already impressive, but Pan Ling didn't bother explaining, as she could tell that Ye Guan had no understanding of the rankings' prestige.
Pan Ling led Ye Guan forward. Along the way, they encountered many people, most of whom were young yet exuded overwhelming auras.
Pan Ling brought Ye Guan and his companions to an inn. They went to the top floor and sat down. Shortly afterward, a young lady in green robes entered the room. Upon seeing Pan Ling, the young lady in green robes smiled. "Pan Ling, what brought you here?"
Pan Ling smiled. "I brought a friend over and decided to drop by to see you!"
Pan Ling to Ye Guan and the others, introducing them. "He's Lin Li, and he's Young Master Ye Guan. His sister is Ye An."
Ye An! The young lady in green's eyes widened as she looked at Ye Guan. "You're Ye An's younger brother?"
Ye Guan smiled faintly. "Yes."
The young lady in green revealed a strange expression.
Seeing her reaction, Ye Guan was at a loss for words. How come everyone always made such a face whenever Ye An was mentioned?
The young lady in green examined Ye Guan and smiled. "You do resemble her."
Pan Ling looked at Ye Guan and introduced, "She's Helian Qi, and she's very familiar with your sister."
Ye Guan smiled. "Nice to meet you, Miss Helian."
Helian Qi chuckled. "I had no idea that she had a younger brother. She never said anything about having a younger brother."
"My sister and I rarely meet."
Helian Qi nodded. "She's probably busy right now. You'll have to wait for her."
"That's fine."
Pan Ling stood up. She looked at Ye Guan and said, "We have to head to Nine Continents City, so we won't stay to wait with you. When you see your sister, send her my regards."
Ye Guan nodded. "Will do."
Pan Ling turned to Helian Qi. "Take care of him."
With that, she turned around and walked away.
Lin Li walked up to Ye Guan with a grin. "Brother Ye, until we meet again."
Ye Guan smiled and handed Lin Li a scroll. "I made this sword technique, and it's called Heavenrend. Learn it."
"Shameless," Little Pagoda remarked.
Ye Guan was dumbfounded.
Lin Li accepted the scroll and said, "Brother Ye, you better do well. If you make it big, I'll follow you."
Ye Guan was speechless.
Without Pan Ling and the others, Ye Guan and Helian Qi were left all by themselves in the room. Helian Qi studied Ye Guan with a mischievous smile.
Ye Guan shook his head with a smile. "Miss Helian, why are you looking at me like that? I'm feeling a bit uncomfortable."
Helian Qi laughed. "You're just like your sister—flashy at times."
Ye Guan smiled. "How did you meet my sister?"
Helian Qi sat down, smiling. "We didn't get along at first."
Ye Guan was taken aback. "You fought?"
"Everyone here is a battle maniac. Your sister is a maniac among maniacs... But what I'm curious about is, why don't you have any cultivation base?"
Ye Guan sighed bitterly. "It's sealed."
Helian Qi placed her hand on Ye Guan's shoulder. After a moment, she frowned. "I can't sense any seals. Could it be that the person who sealed you is too powerful for me to detect their seal?"
Ye Guan said nothing.
Helian Qi withdrew her hand and smiled. "In a place like this, someone without a cultivation base is in constant danger. Don't wander around recklessly, or you'll be bullied."
Ye Guan nodded. "Understood."
Helian Qi stood up. "When your sister comes out, I'll have her find you. Your room is on the first floor."
"Thank you."
Helian Qi waved dismissively. "No need to be so formal."
After she left, Ye Guan stood by the window, gazing out. The view stretched endlessly, offering a vast and open sight. In the distance, the Nine Continents Tower loomed high in the sky.
Ye Guan murmured, "Master Pagoda, how strong was that swordsman earlier?"
Little Pagoda replied, "Weaker than you."
Ye Guan laughed.
The swordsman was indeed skilled but couldn't harm Master Pagoda. With Ye Guan's current sword intent, however, he could harm Master Pagoda if he wanted to do so.
After all, his sword intent was almost as strong as the Qingxuan Sword.
Once his strength was restored, Ye Guan believed that he would rank above average, if not among the top, in the Nine Continents Domain. The top-tier fighters likely included Pan Zhen, Daoist Zhang, and the monk.
Ye Guan entered the pagoda and found Zang Gang cultivating quietly.
Powerful spiritual energy radiated from her, a sign of intense cultivation.
When Zang Gang opened her eyes, she looked at Ye Guan.
Ye Guan smiled at her and asked, "Finally done?"
Zang Gang pulled out a cooking pot and handed Ye Guan a packet of instant noodles. "Let's cook some noodles."
Ye Guan laughed heartily. The little girl had developed an unusual attachment to noodles.
While cooking the noodles, Ye Guan asked, "We're in the Nine Continents Domain. Do you recognize this place?"
"It feels familiar, but I can't remember anything specific. However…"
Ye Guan pressed, "Hm?"
Zang Gang looked at him seriously. "If you let me drink more of your blood, I might recall something."
Ye Guan's face darkened.
Zang Gang pouted. "Stingy."
Ye Guan laughed. "Forget it. I'll take you out for a walk and see if anything jogs your memory."
"Okay."
Once the noodles were cooked, Zang Gang immediately began to eat.
However, she stopped upon seeing that Ye Guan wasn't going to eat.
"Are you not going to eat?"
"I'm fine; just go ahead and eat!"
Zang Gang nodded. "What happened to your sister?"
"Why are you suddenly asking about her?"
"I no longer have any instant noodles."
Ye Guan's face froze, and Little Pagoda was flabbergasted.
Ye Guan was curious. "It's all gone?"
Zang Gang nodded. "Yes, it is all gone."
"But she left behind like a ton of instant noodles."
Little Pagoda interjected, "She eats those every day. What do you expect?"
Ye Guan was dumbfounded.
"I actually admire her ability to eat it continuously without getting sick of it."
Ye Guan smiled. "When we have time, let's go to the Milky Way to stock up."
Once Zang Gang was done eating the noodles, Ye Guan brought her out of the tiny pagoda. Training inside all the time wasn't ideal, as they needed to explore the outside world as well.
For safety, Ye Guan requested Helian Qi to guide them around.
Ye Guan looked at Helian Qi and smiled. "Miss Helian, thank you for accompanying us."
Helian Qi responded. "It is a small matter."
She then turned to look at Zang Gang and asked, "Is she your younger sister?"
Ye Guan nodded. "Yes."
Helian Qi studied Zang Gang and smiled. "She's quite extraordinary."
Ye Guan smiled and asked Zang Gang, "Does anything here feel familiar?"
Zang Gang shook her head.
Ye Guan nodded slightly and sighed inwardly. It seemed that uncovering this little girl's true identity was not going to be an easy task.
Soon, Helian Qi brought the two of them to the Nine Continents Tower.
The tower seemed to pierce the heavens, looking both majestic and imposing.
The tower's exterior was a deep black, adorned with mysterious runes that seemed to exude infinite power.
Curious, Ye Guan asked, "Miss Qi, could you tell me about that tower?"
Helian Qi gazed at the tower and remarked, "It was built by the Nine Continents Master back in the day. Its construction materials came from an unknown part of the universe, and the inscriptions on it were written personally by the Nine Continents Master.
"Thus, it is indestructible and impervious to any force. Back then, he built this tower to nurture the talents of the Nine Continents, providing a supreme training environment for the prodigies of the Nine Continents.

"Unfortunately, for some unknown reason, he disappeared and has never been seen again."
Ye Guan looked at the towering tower. "Is my sister inside?"
Helian Qi nodded. "She's inside competing on the rankings."
Ye Guan smiled. "Really?"
Helian Qi pointed to the right. Over there was a stone monument stretching a thousand meters long, and there were ninety names on its surface. The names of the top ten were blurry and couldn't be read.
Ye Guan frowned slightly. "What's this about?"
Helian Qi smiled. "The top ten contenders have chosen to conceal their names. If you want to find out their identities, there's only one way—break into the top ten and challenge them."
Ye Guan glanced at the stone monument, but his sister Ye An's name wasn't on it.
Helian Qi added, "Your sister has already made it into the top ten."
Just as Ye Guan was about to reply, Little Pagoda suddenly exclaimed, "There's danger!"
Ye Guan's expression changed instantly. He quickly placed Zang Gang into the tiny pagoda as every hair on his body stood on end.
